That's one Bad Bird! A lot of nice little touches on an icon. As soon as I saw it launch I laughed at his "guess* of 450!!! He knows that car inside and out and I guarantee he knows when it's off a fraction of a hp! You're my hero!!!! Lol
It’s refreshing to see an old survivor tastefully modified with a carburetor and turbo 350 transmission that _actually_ gets down and boogie! That launch at the end was nothing but the business!
Greetings from Texas, I owned a '73 T/A, sold it at 25 years old, regret that day loved the 455 pontiac engine, but Burt would be proud of this black one!!! :)
We all like those ultra high end builds that are pure perfection, but the garage builds are the heart and soul of what we enthusiasts truly are. It's built vs. bought. There's nothing wrong with either one, but built will always get more respect.
I love it! Just goes to show a car doesn't have to be perfect or a super high end, expensive build to be bad ass. Really impressed with the way that car pulls!!
I'm picking up finally a 68 camero in a few days and this show always gets me motivated man!!! My dad had three 67-69 cameros when I was a kid and it's still my all time favorite. I'm 37 now and should have got one earlier but,....I'm stoked, my dads stoked for me. Its basically stock and drives good so my plan is just doing one thing at a time to make it an awesome car I'll drive and bimble around in. Ordered merch from you guys just now cause I love the show. Great job Shawn keep em coming 🤙
Awesome home built ride!! Appreciate that he built it the way he wanted! I'm a Pontiac guy at heart, but appreciate his decision to run a Chevy motor. If it makes you happy and it's what you want, who cares what others think. Great job on the build and look forward to seeing in person soon!!👍👍
I Love so mouch 77/78 Firebird Trans Am. My Friend Got a 80 Trans Am With A 6.6 Pontiac Rebuilt Motor With A Efi Injection and R700 Transmission and She Running Pretty Good and is a cool car Too (Nothing like this Obviussly)
Sweet TA dude... 383 putting down the power awesome 🤙... I'm building and restoring my 94 trans am from the ground up... I have 2 motors.. the stock LT1 is going to be getting a top end build. And my 383 stroker LT1 is being built...
What a beautiful car!! Bro u def built this TA to kick ass!! Awesome car stock but u, my friend have reached badass status. Congrats on ur beautiful built TA!! U should be extremely proud. I know if I had the money and built it like this I'd be proud af, lol!! Enjoy ur badass ride bro!! I love it and think u did a fabulous job restoring and engine build, congrats again man!!
Im beginning to think the trans am is my favorite chassis, so many noses on these the 77-78 is the best for me, some like the round lights or other designs
I dig it. A normal guy build. Not all that much fancier than my own project, just way better paint. And go with Gear Vendors dude. You’ll enjoy driving the car so much more afterward
383 moves .. 468 BBC Judge’s pass out 3 month supervision. If answered wrong and wanted to see . It would’ve definitely costed time and $ .awesome ride ! Black bandit ! Bad ass set up. ! BBC th400 Ford 9” 3.25 gear Unfortunately hard times but in time I get my rolling again!

Its always a good day when AutotopiaLA uploads
Awesome, truly an Icon!!!
So refreshing to see a 15" wheel instead of the me too giant billets on rubber bands.
That guy is cool! Good vibes
It’s refreshing to see an old survivor tastefully modified with a carburetor and turbo 350 transmission that _actually_ gets down and boogie!
That launch at the end was nothing but the business!
Sick my Mom had a 77 Trans Am, black with gold paint. All stock though 😂
Absolutely love it! Love the "home brew" approach. Killer ride!
I like the stance and tuck of the rear wheel/tire. Nice car
Nice and well done......simple and to the Point. I like it..
Greetings from Texas, I owned a '73 T/A, sold it at 25 years old, regret that day loved the 455 pontiac engine, but Burt would be proud of this black one!!! :)
Had a 79 real 400/4 speed. Parted it out. I'm retarded

That car is frightening. :-) Love it! I was 13 or 14 when the movie came out as well and we all went nutso.
That is a serious no nonsense build. Shawn your faced showed how that power went to the ground! Great car!
I love it! Just goes to show a car doesn't have to be perfect or a super high end, expensive build to be bad ass. Really impressed with the way that car pulls!!
Looks awesome. Just enough to make it cool. My dad had 455 4spd that would snap your neck. I miss those days.
I've been following this guy on Instagram for years and I'm just now seeing this video! Soo badass!!
hi john ,, hey how can i find more info on this car on insta please
One badass T/A, had a 75 myself but it didn't run like this. Still a big fan of all of the T/A's. Excellent video dude, as usual.

Down in the weeds this badass Bandit rocks. Nice.

Not a Pontiac guy but much respect for the garage build and the homage to the Bandit.
I love when Sean kind of freaks out when they launch . . . Whoa dude
I freaked out mostly cause the visor almost nailed me in the face but this thing does pull hard!
Gotta love Smokey and the Bandit brother especially with the Bandit Trans Am.

Buford T. Justice approved! That's a serious grudge racer, and that crisp exhaust sound....fo fiddy? NOT! More like 6 fiddy! Nice ride!
Wow nice GTO at the end of video
400-450 horsepower? This guy must be a street racer.
😜 For sure!
Hey, you know he's keeping his true HP numbers a secret. Nobody goes BIG TIRE only to have 400-500HP! We know better than that! Lmao
Awesome car 👍🏻👍🏻😀🙌
Very cool ride and owner
Glad to see my friends hard work and dedication get recognition 😍😍

I like these garage builds as well, not all builds need to be 500k, also I see a nice lifted p38 Rover outside...
new scatpacks should come with those tires
Right!
Im beginning to think the trans am is my favorite chassis, so many noses on these the 77-78 is the best for me, some like the round lights or other designs

That's how powerful a 1977 Trans Am SHOULD be.
Looks great! I see you too have some of Dave's PTFB components. I bought a ton of stuff from him a few years ago, some stuff still not installed.
That's sooo sick!!!
