OMG same thing happened to me
gracias a dios por la existencia de la gente vintage :v
@@HDliketheTV sad but true
I just found my parents Polaroid camera and I was wondering how to install new batteries but then I came Across this video and you’re such a life saver!! Will definitely buy new film! Thank you so much , can’t wait to use it😊

Does it not take batterys?
The battery is built into the film @@juliebegley2649

Same here, I've found my mom's old 636 camera and I can't wait to use it 😊
Polaroid was ahead of it's time i dont care how expensive your camera is it will never be able to give you an old school picture to hang on the wall the moment you take the picture
100%
Huh
I am so glad that you went through everything so thoroughly. I've seen so many videos where they skip over things because they feel like it's obvious, but it really isn't. Thank you for being so detailed! I really appreciate it!
Great, now I can use this to find pictures of DIO while smashing the camera in the process.
Wtf 😂
OH MY GOOOOOOOD
Nice bro
“If u pick up the camera after 20 or 30 years…” just happened. Being new in town, I asked an old timer at my job if he could recommend a shop for finding an old school Polaroid camera. He went in the back room and came out with a 30 year old Sun 600 LMS and handed it to me with a smile. He said, “It’s my gift to you.” Thank you, Nevzat for the camera and thank you Marco for the instruction. Cheers!
I had the identical thing happen to me two years ago. Cleaning up old desks in my work and we find a Sun 600 in a drawer. They were going to junk it and I said "Hey I'd love that" and now its mine!

How do you charge the damn thing? I can’t find the plug hole!
@@sahebath428not sure if you still need this information considering your comment is a year old 😂, but you don’t actually need to charge the Polaroid camera, the Polaroids which you buy already is compacted with a charger 5:16
I cringed when you wasted those films, they are SO EXPENSIVE 😩😭
dont worry these are test packs that dont work ;)
Phew
Word though, I was wondering if anyone was feeling that pain too. 😂😭
It's only 2.50 a photo. Even less if you buy bulk packs.
I agree with you
So of course yesterday was Christmas and my grandma gave me her old Polaroid camera same exact as the video and it’s in really good condition! You answered all my questions I wasn’t sure if I had to buy a battery and film but it comes with the film so I am really excited about using it
+Shante Nicole Great, hope you will enjoy the camera!
Me to
Shante Nicole where did you order or get the film. I’ve been having a hard to trying to buy the film. And will the battery be coming with the film?
Esperanza Hernandez they sell it at target for $15...8 shots ...600 film
Sofia Litman is the film the battery??
I bought one of these in the late 90s for $10 to use for a couple of art school projects. It's been in a drawer ever since. I pulled it out recently and ran some film through it. It still works exactly the same. I found an early 80s Sun 600 at Goodwill for $6 and gave it to my niece. Still works. It's impressive how reliable they are.
thank you so much for this video, just found this type of camera in my parents house. have to order a film, hope it still works... it must be more than 20 years old...
Krumme Naht did it end up working? I want to order film for mine but I’m not sure how it powers on or if it even works. :/
He explains it at 5:14. Batteries are inside the film you purchase :)
Same here just found two of a kind at my parents house I have fond memories of using these in the early 90s. My husband and I are going to use them this weekend at an 80s party. AWESOMMMME!!!
It should work. I've had mine since '02-'03. Recently dug it out of storage and popped in the new cartridge. Works like a charm. Good luck with yours
More like near 40 years old. Came out in 1981.
i just found my moms polaroid 600 and i’m so excited to use it! this helped so much thank you :)))
just subscribed too!!
thanks
Just got one of these babies at a goodwill. Can't wait to put some new film in it!
Qwirky I just found mines at goodwill too !!!
Same!
me too! the film was 30.00 though
me too $10!! but my first few pics are a bit blurry :/
I had only two pictures develop out of an 8 pack of 600 film☹

Then you can destroy Polaroid Instant Cameras in 1 shot
this made me sad
I'm glad I am not the only Life is Strange fan on these vids.
Omg Life is Strange 😭❤
Yike
Why was I so surprised to see a Life Is Strange comment on this video when I literally got an actual Polaroid for Max kinnie vibes (I have like 4 other instant cameras but it's not enough bahahah)? 😂😔 Well, I've always wanted a Polaroid camera, I've always loved the aesthetic, but I decided to stop dreaming and start doing because I wanted an actual Polaroid for my Max cosplay, and I'm here because I had no clue what the exposure switch was and was confused 😂
Thanks for this tutorial! I just acquired a Polaroid camera and had no idea how to work the damn thing. Love people who take the time and energy to create videos like this. Really helps out and I hope you receive the compensation you deserve for your work!
The brightness feature and flash really helped me out. I got a great deal on my camera, I bought it at a local thrift store for only $2, half off from its original price. Online mine sells for about $130 So far I've bought only 3 packs of film because they are expensive for me. And I've been pretty sparing with them so they've lasted quite a while. I have some weird taken photos but I like that sort of raw, unfiltered, somewhat unprofessional look. But as I progress I'm sure to get more and more better photos. Thank you for this tutorial, it was very insightful!
That's exactly where I found mine! I'm so excited to get it working
i got mine today for 10 dollars, and i've actually been thinking about getting one, but i didn't want to spend a lot, so i guess this was part of God's plan.
Got mine for 3$ as well 😂 its been awesome
"if that happens, then you're f*cked" HAHAHAHA i died at this
super helpful and straight to the point!!! literally everything i needed to know. i just found this exact camera at goodwill for $8!!! super excited
Thank you for this introduction. I just found my parents Polaroid and me and my mom were planing on taking photos with it because it is in a very good condition. Best tutorial ever. You have answered on point every question we've had. Thank you!
thanks :)
Hi there, thanx for video... :) I am thinking of buying a vintage one, because I always liked the quality of the polaroid photos. They made everybody look so good... Every photo was special. The secret was in the lighting, I think. Is that new film as good? Or are they slightly different?
Awesome review on the Polaroid 600 camera. Thank you. And i love the background of all the cameras!!!!!
Alicia Ambriz where do the batteries go?
The battery is built into the film you buy @@hollyblankenship8730
I wanted to reuse my mom's older Polaroid, thank you so much for this video!
hope it works
just found this camera in my sisters room! this video was so helpful thanks!
nice, i hope you still share it with your sisiter
Great video! Thanks a bunch! We looked for a while to try and find where the battery was located! Good thing you pointed out it was in the film!
+Jordan Hamlin hope you enjoy the camera
thank you very much Analog Things
Excellent video! I just got my daughter the MTV Special Edition 600. This video helped A TON.
Thanks for making this👍🏻
bought one for 6.99 at goodwill, bought the film at target for 20 bucks, it works perfectly! this video helped alot!
if possible dont buy at target, you never know if the film is stil good
I have 3 polaroid cameras and i didnt know the battery came with the film until now so thanks. Now im gonna buy films.
Ouch, why only 8 frames...$$$$. Great video. Love the vintage cameras in the background.
Yeah crazy money tbh. Tad more expensive than back in the day though. I remember here in the UK during the mid 90s, these 600 film would cost me around £10. In today's money this would be >£18 which is around the same price as they retail now... although we did get 10 sheets instead of 8 like he mentioned in the vid.
@@confounded_feline the film is a little thicker now.
Just bought this camera today very helpful video thank you 😀😀
Jacqueline Bernal where’d you buy it and how much was it? if you don’t mind me asking😊!
Omg I didn’t know about the flash vs non flash button. I’ll finally be able to take pics that aren’t over exposed 😂🙌🏼
I was given my grandfathers polaroid when we found it untouched and in great shape in storage, I bought some film since I have no access to old ones so heres hoping that it does work!!!
Thank you, I found my wife’s 600 after 30 yrs in the garage and we both didn’t remember how it worked. We had an idea but we found it funny we had to relearn how to use a 30 yr old camera we used for many years lol. Thanks for the refresh. My 12 yr old daughter is amazed with it. Can’t wait to start using it again.
Thank you your video is literally perfect so helpful and wonderful i found this camera from my childhood in the garage and i can’t wait to see if it works! I can definitely justify spending the 20 bucks on the film
Was very pleased to find they're remaking these old film. I've just pulled out my old OneStep from the mid 90s when I was a kid. Can't wait to try it out again.
This is a brilliant simple and in places funny guide on how to use a polaroid 600|! Cheers!
Looooved the video, i just got my boyfriend one of these and we are so excited to use it now that we know exactly how it works.
We wouldn’t have been able to figure it out without your video, thank you so much ❤️❤️
I got my spirit 600 for $8 at a thrift store without knowing whether or not it would work. I then went to target right across the street to find film and saw the new cameras they were selling, like the 2 step or whatever, that were around $120 and I thought it was kind of hilarious considering I just got one for $8. The camera does indeed work and I’m so glad I got it for the insanely low price. I do understand that I will end up spending $120 by getting just 6 film packs, but it’s whatever. At least by the time I get 6, I would’ve spent $128 on the camera instead of $240.
Thanks! Really cool for first time Polaroid user!
very useful, thanks so much :) thumbs up
Thank you so much!!! I didn't Know how they work. I just bought one at Good Will for $4 don't know if it works yet.
Thank you so much. Just bought one used and it seems to work but I need a new cartridge but now I know how to use it :)
Just scored one of these for 20$ at an antique store and I doubted it was going to work from the low price and the fact that it had a REALLY old film cartridge still inside that had massive sun damage....But I removed the old film and tested it with new film just like you recommended and it worked so well that the noise of it ejecting the film pack cover actually scared me! Very informative video, thanks!
I lucked out at a thrift store in NY. I found that exact camera for $15 and it works. Thanks for the info!
This was exactly what I needed. Excellent tutorial. Thank you!
Just found this is my parent’s junk room and can’t wait to try it!!!
Thank you for this informative video! It was very insightful! Now it's time to try a Spirit 600, hopefully it works.
VISITED: 8:45 AM.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFORMATIONAL PATIENCE!!!
I GOT MY CAMERA IN 2009.
JUST TAKING IT OUT OF THE CLOSET!!!*
GOING TO SHOP AROUND.
BLESS YOU!!!***
Great video! I just picked up a Spirit 600 CL from a thrift store for $7. Thanks for the help mate!
thats a good deal ben, more money for film left ;)
+The saddest Girl thats what i call a good deal
Hi from Canada! I just bought a Polaroid 600 at a Thrift Store! only ten Canadian dollars. Thank you for the demo. I just ordered my film. I can't wait to test it out. Now I know that I need to clean my rollers first. Cool video. Cheers from Kindle
great, hope it works
Thank you so much for very informative video😊😘😘 You're such a life saver now I know how to use it..😊😘😘
Thanks! Very helpful so i don't waste those expensive Polaroids hehe ..
Thumbs up
This was a phenomenal video. Thank you! It answered all the questions I didn't know I needed to ask. Thank you for doing this!
Video answered every question I had. Thank you!
thats great ;)
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!! My mom just gave me her "onestep flash" polaroid vamera (the one with a red stripe) and I was so afraid of breaking it because it just would close! I've watched your video and everything became very clear -- including the battery doubt! Thank you for being thorough. While making a video, people may think some things are obvious but they are NOT! I'm going to buy some cartridges tomorrow and can't wait to start testing it!
Omg my dad had one of these and my sister and I found it and couldn't figure out how to get it to work and my dad couldn't remember so he threw it out. That was a year ago that he threw it out, I'm just now finding this video and realized we were pressing the button to reload flash and not the button to take pictures
it's kind of the same button, i guess that the battery of film was just dead.
This answered everything I wanted to know, thanks a bunch!
I feel like this video is going to be my gateway to photography, thanks for the help
thank you for this video, the other ones i watched were confusing or too short but this one really helped. i just got one from my friend since me doesnt use it, so this was actually very nice and helpful
+Anna Richards Thanks Anna, hope you will capture some nice memories.
Where would I purchase that Polaroid film?
Absolutely amazing video! You covered everything!
this video was very helpful. thank you!! i just have one question. So i bought this camera for only $1 at a rummage sale and the lady said it was perfectly in good condition. I don’t have any film in it yet, and my green light doesn’t turn on when i open it or pull the trigger on the side.
i just got my hands on a polaroid spirit 600, thanks for all the great tipps on your channel :)
Luckily I picked one up of from 93 or 97 for 30$
Thanks for the video. Im about to buy my first one off offer up for $10
Great video, i just found one in an old filing cabinet at a house my boyfriend was getting scrap metal from. It says it takes 600 plus film. Is that the same as 600 film??
yeah, thats the same film
Got mine today and everything works for just 8€. Thanks for the video mate
thats a great deal
My sister has a Barbie one from the 90s. I found it during the beginning of quarantine and I got to use it for the first time yesterday which was super exciting! Thank you for this video😁
This was so helpful. Well explained. Thanks!
This video helped a lot, I just found the Polaroid 600 in my step dad's parent's basement and the flash and everything works like a charm, all I need is the film. Which is pretty expensive but I think it might be worth it for such a cool camera.
I just recently unearthed my old cool cam 600,so, thank you you for the refresher upload!
I have a question: So i put a new film in my mother's old polaroid supercolor 600. The first picture i took came out super bad. Then the second time i took a picture, it seemed to start developing fine, but then i noticed it was developing the picture i took the previous time! like, it was legit developing my first photo, not the second one!? can you please help explain how that happens? :O and last question, the third picture came out almost black with only slightly being able to see an image at all, i did not move the slider away from the middle :P any idea why?
Great! You just told me everything I need to know. The most annoying to me was find where the battery was placed. Great job. Thanks.
watch the video....
XD
C'mon, you get this far, read the comments, but can`t watch the video? Just do it, it's very helpful.
Should the light turn on even if there is no film in it?! When I open mine the light does not turn on, but there’s also no film in it. My sister has one that is similar. Even when there is no film, the light still turns on once it’s opened.
Thank you so much for making this video! I just bought one that’s never been used, still in the box at an antique store and I can’t wait to use it 😄
oh nice, hope everything works but with a mint condition one it should be fine
Hi I would like to know if fujifilm wide films work por my polaroid 600. Thank you so much por the awesome video.
I found one of these in my attic and I want to use it, so this video is extremely helpful, thanks
My grandpa show us his camera and it's a Polaroid s600 then I don't know where's the battery that's why I watch this video thank you, when I look at the price of the film to expensive 😀
Just dug mine up from storage when the film arrived. Had to get reacquainted with it after 16 years. I'm super excited and can't wait to use it. Great video🙏
So while I was taking photos with my polaroid, the flash didn't work but the green light is still on and the photos just came out orange and the people came out dark. Does that mean the bulb burned out?
Very informative! Vielen dank!
Can someone help? I have a Polaroid onestep express and I put brand new 600 film in, but it isn't spitting out the dark slide or taking pictures when I press the button. There's also no lights or flash. I don't think it's turning on. I'm really confused and I was looking forward to using it, any ideas?
Excellent tutorial. Very helpful, thank you!
Thank you!!! You answered all the questions I had. Great video! Can't wait to try the camera!
Thankyou so much! I just found a camera, that belonged to my mom, and I needed to learn the basics so I seriously appreciate you making this video!
Thank you for showing me how to close the darn thing. I could not figure out how to close it and I was not applying enough pressure... it is still hard for me to close but at least I know how to do it now.🙂
Deutsch ist deine Muttersprache, oder?

Hi! I have the same polaroid you have!
But, in mine instead of "OneStep" I find "636" written. What changes?
This was so helpful! It answered all the questions I had! 💕 Thank You! (Also love your accent)
haha thanks
Nice video. I've been a photographer for years but only just started getting interested in these things recently. What I would like to know is changing the brightness/darkness. You didn't explain what was making it light or dark? Does it change the aperture I assume and not the shutter speed?
Thank you so much for the video. I had no idea using no flash was an option. That second shutter button was a secret to me!
Can you change the strap on the 600? I wanted to get a longer strap but have no idea whether the current black thing band can come out!
thank you so much for making this video, Ive had the polaroid one step auto focus, and it takes 600 film, i knew nothing about the camera because it was given to me by my grandmother, so this was very informative
Thank you for saying the battery was in the film pack. Very informative video.
OMG I FOUND THIS IN MY ROOM I DONT KNOW WHO BROUGHT IT THERE AND I DIDNT KNOW WHAT IT WAS SO I OPENED WHERE THE FILM WAS IM SO STUPID BUT THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO!
The problem with Polaroid is the film quality. Blurry and fuzzy. I have pictures taken in 1990 with the real Polaroid films and the pics were all crisp and sharp
For the 600 camera how can I clean the viewfinder? I found my grandpas and the veil finder has some muck on what seems to be the inside
It kind of sucks that the battery is IN the film. I got an old Polaroid Supercolor 635 CL via an eBay auction (couldn't resist lol). Now I have to buy a pretty expensive film to see if it works. :D Let's hope it does or I just wasted lots of money. I am worried about the fact that this thing is really hard to close, I have to use a lot of force to close it and it makes a loud bang when it finally gives in.
I have a question please. I found this camera.. how can i know if it works i can change battery???
This was really helpful, thank you! I somehow got lucky enough to find a $5 one at a Goodwill. Can’t wait to use it! Thanks again!
