Dude I legit just bought this camera at a pawn ship for $3. Honestly couldn't even believe it. I. Stoked to start using it. Mines blue 😎
i got mines for free lmao
Hah same just today. A nearby pawn shop was closing and they let me back there to look at the broken electronics, I asked for any Polaroids and it was on top of the fridge!
Too bad a picture costs like 3$
Oh same, I got mine at an op shop/thrift store for $2 though lol
You got a blue one for 3 dollars? That's insanely lucky cause it's one of the rarer variants.
My dad just found one of these that’s been stored away in the garage for god knows how many years and I did not know what powered the camera was on the film itself, cool! Can’t wait to have fun with this thing!
I bought one for 10 bucks at a garage sale and had it for almost 5 years before I realized that it only needed a new pack of film lol literally thought it needed repair
Just bought this camera on marketplace for $40. Thanks so much for the video. I was trying to find out how to power it up and so I looked online and got your video. Very helpful. I bought a pack of film and just took a few photos. I love it! This reminds me of the camera my parents had when I was really little. Now I know why my Dad kept the film in the fridge.
my mom found one yesterday that my dad gifted her in the late 80s and gave it to me. just got some film today and it works so well, thought it was super cool!
This was my first camera I ever used and went through 300 bucks worth of film in one weekend at the age of 5
Thank you for guiding! I haven’t used my Polaroid Impulse Portrait for years and already forgot how to do it at all.
Love seeing new uploads!
Good to see you back Dan 😎
Just got this camera as a gift and I’m really hyped to use it thanks for the content man !
Explained it neatly!! Thank you so much.
Really great overview my man 🙌🏽
Thanks for this video Dan. I was just gifted an Impulse yesterday. Cheers.
Thanks for this dude. I was looking into this exact model. Love Polaroid but want a mid range one.
Thanks for this! I found a Polaroid Impulse in the back of a closet a couple years ago, and it's traveled with me but I haven't actually used it yet. Mine isn't the AF but this video really helped me get to know this piece of archaic technology (ha ha) before using it. Informational and straightforward!
Great video! Great personal site! Thanks for your work!
Just bought a non AF version cause it was a bit cheaper haha. Loved the video!
I have this camera but it’s not the autofocus version, I love it just film is super expensive
Really nice video!!
Thank you, so helpful!
Thanks for that intro. Just got mine from a friend who tossed it. I was wondering why it doesn't work anymore after it flashed once.
Trying to find the battery case, haha. I didn't know it is powered by the film cartridge.
I got the non AF version for 5€. Only drawback is that the pictures cost 20€ 😅
thanks so much ,nice help
Would the shutter light turn on if the cartridge is empty but the battery is still good ?
Nice review. I just found one on a flea market in Spain and can't wait to start using it. I'd like to clean it first though, but cannot get it open. Would you know how to take it apart by any chance?
MORE OF THESE!!!
If you're going to buy the film in a place like Best Buy or Target on the side of the box they've stamped in the production date. Recently I've had good luck buying it from those locations.
Got one of these yesterday but it’s the manual focus one. It powers up. I’m gonna use this one or one of my rainbow onesteps.
Thank you so much for the video. I was just searching for where to put the battery. 🤣
Wait I didn’t catch where DO you put the battery I’m so confused and can’t find anything
@@MckenzieHarper1 There is no compartment for a battery. It's "included" in the film cassette. 😊 No seperate battery.
Can you install a light shield frog tongue on the Impluse cameras?
Hi.
I just bought the non af version without know the before life and after i put the new films in the machine it start to shot all of the film even its have the closed flash.
Can you help me what can cause this problem?
which is better polaroid sun 660 auto focus or impulse auto focus?
Great video, I have a close-up too and I'm looking to get an Impulse AF to try the autofocus and viewfinder. Does anything flash when using the self-timer to indicate the photo is about to be taken?
yes theres a front facing led
thanks :) my inlaws just gave me one and it worked!
got one for $20 at a thrift store. cant wait!!
My flash won’t work on it anymore ,it quit and it’s not the film bc I bought colored film which is new and isn’t expired.Do you know what I should do bc I’m tired of wasting money on film?
OKAY!!! I DO NOT WANT TO BREAK IT lol! My sonar auto focus on the left, isn't quite working. How do I get it to open up?
Thanks. I'm writing a comic book and needed to research a camera like this. You showed me everything I need to know.
Дуже дякую за відеоогляд😀 Знайшов такий апарат у знайомого, тепер знаю як користуватись, лишилось тільки купити картридж😉
Are you sure half pressing does the autofocus? I thought that was done when it takes the picture, just like their 660 and 670 AF models
can someone explain me what the middle part do that you can slide (bright not bright) ?
I'm not a native speaker so i didn't really understood.
Thanks!
What happens if the lens cover doesn’t swing out of the way completely
Will there be still a light indicator if it doesnt have a film inside?
No, cause a battery is placed inside film catridge, not camera itself
Are the color 600 film 16 instant photo compatible with this camera ?
Any 600 pack of film is compatible, i-type is not because it doesn't come with a battery in it
It looks like there is a seal on my AF part.... okay.... I'm good with it, I know how to get it done with lighting, and focusing. I just don't want to break a tab off.
Where can I get 600 plus film....
Amazon
help… my red button doesn't turn green… what can i do?
And what if the battery is dead? Can I replace it somehow?
The battery is in the film so you have to buy a new one if it dies
Come smontare una polaroid impulse?
How do I know if I’m getting the right film? Does all 600 type film have the battery power?
Any 600 type film is compatible. What you can't use is SX-70, i-type, now or instax films
polaroid film with no battery says I type on box.
my flash isn’t working. do you know how i could fix it?
I dunno but, you could try replacing the flash.
@@MedicplayingCSGO it's non repairable
Found a prestige one looting an abandoned house. Traded it for crank
Found mine for $10!!!! Online they are over $100.
Do not believe OutKast! Don´t shake the film!
me realizing the tab i pulled off the cartridge was to help pull it back out🧍♀️🤦♀️
Buyed this on a street market for 2 €😂
Works like a charm
help… my red button doesn't turn green… what can i do?
