- By big demand, I decided to throw a little POV video of what it's like driving my BMW E90 around town with my secondary cat, resonator, and muffler delete.
My exhaust setup is basically a 3 inch pipe from the exhaust headers.

EVERYTIME I let off at 4k it’s a habit to just tap that throttle 😭😭
Oh it’s necessary
Sounds amazing bro, i want quarantine to end so I can finally get my 328i
For real dude! This quarantine shit sucks! Hopefully it ends pretty soon haha
I got mine during bro, you can do it! Join us!
Michael Hart yeah I just got mine a couple days ago!
@@ImEricedo you regret saying this now
Please leave a comment down below of what kind of videos you guys want to see next! :)
Is it just the secondary cat you delete? Leaving muffler and resonator
@@twepchapo7665 straight pipe from the headers
Found ur channel through your build that was released earlier this month love the car man keep it up my guy!}
Dude I’m about to mod my 328i, yours is so damn amazinf
Remove the secondary cats, I straight piped my E90 but the burbles weren’t loud enough and removing secondary cats solved that issue.
How loud?
How is the fumes? Is it bearable? Also did your Injen intake make your car run lean? Sounds sick btw!!
Pierre Ricardo I cant smell anything with this setup
I've heard some other people haven't had any smelly fumes, but mines smelled quite a bit. The intake made the car run a little more rich which explains some louder burbles than what I've seen from other people with their setups. Some days it won't burble as loud, but luckily the day of this video was one of the times where my car goes all out with the burbles haha.
If the intake is making you run lean, try unscrewing the battery and leave it off for 10 minutes so the ECU can be reset to properly adjust to the A/F ratio. Otherwise I would advise looking into cleaning/replacing your MAF sensor.
Bro we got the same car keep grinding I’m supporting about to put hearders on get a new ecu and more
You inspired me to do the same mods I just put a electric exhaust cutout where the res was and kept the muffler on for back pressure. I’m about to make a video on it, it’s screams like a cat out of hell.
sounds so sweet love it
You should make a video of “what’s in my car”
Sounds Beautiful Bro 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Hey i noticed your car is automatic, mine is too and i was wondering if you happen to have any odd noises or bad sounds come from your exhaust when it shifts in non-manual mode?
Can you describe the noise? I'm not too sure on exactly what you mean
Do you have stock transmission software or a flash like xhp? If yes, which stage? :) And congratulations to your car, very well done, wish mine would look and sound like this :) I have „only“ performance exhaust from bmw :)
I actually am using the Stage 3 tune of the XHP TCU flash. I just loved how immediately my car shifts now compared to its stock sluggish shifts.
ImErice Thanks, I installed it today, have to drive slowly the first 100km. Are your shifts always smooth, or can you feel sometimes a little harshness? Moreover I like how you shift it like a manual transmission (no throttle during shifts), but do you think this is good for transmission to reduce throttle input during shift? xD
Depending on much throttle is applied, usually anything less than 25% throttle would always be smooth shifts. Anything more applied to the throttle and the shifts get harsh, but it will shift pretty fast. And yeah it's a habit of mine to let off the throttle to shift lol. I drive a few manual cars here and there and usually I let off the throttle to shift so I don't bounce my rev limiter haha. It shouldn't harm the transmission considering you're only letting off the throttle after each shift.
XHP only works on the ZF transmission
@@notmyhandle88 Yes, only ZF. I have a ZF 6HP19 first generation transmission in my e90 325i 2007.
Great sound thanks for sharing. Sounds real similar to mine
Sick Car man I have everything that you have done to your car and I am getting the cold air intake in 2 days, I just had 2 questions can you do an interior review of what you have on the inside and how much hp you making.
Sounds really good. Just a bit too loud for my taste. I like the burbles alot. What can i do to my exhaust to make it crack/burble and just be a bit louder. Like something between stock and how yours is sounding?
Delete just secondary cats and leave the rest? Or maybe delete secondary cat + rear muffler and leave the resonator? Please , what do you think?
I think If you get a secondary cat delete and buy an aftermarket muffler that’s not as big as our stock ones it would sound calm but still get the crackles of the cat delete
apart from the second cat that you have eliminated the most from your exhaust pipe
You have deleted the muffler or just the 1st and 2nd cats?
Lit as fuck bro , im going o do same setup as soon as quarintine over bro, i got a 2007 328xi with just an open intake and nothing really else. Soon getting a bumped up carbon hood and exhaaust and tints cant wait bro. love the car bro good transformation
Starter is going bad.
Yeah I've noticed. I'm getting it replaced soon :)
Did replacing the starter cure that slow start/crank? My E92 325i has started to sound exactly like that.
did your fuel mileage go down? n52 06 325 with muffler and res delete. i’m averaging 21mpg now
im noticing the same. also with a k&n filter lol
Yeah it goes down because you f*** with it more because you like listening to it
hey whats that little green thing flashing i dont have that in my bmw
Best comment I have seen yet 😂
Does the secondary cat delete mess with emissions?
Quick question! If I were to purchase the xHP flash tune could I also use part of this tune such as the bounced rev limiter with another tune by another company? Like would it keep the xHP tune with the other tune? Sorry I donʻt know much!
Haha no man that's fine! You can definitely use other tunes along with XHP. XHP is just a transmission flash and does not write over the DME or the ECU. So if you have MHD, JB4 or any tune, you can use XHP along with it.
Really changes the top end of the rpm range and makes it sound loser to the e46
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Where did anybody go to find a shop that’ll delete they’re secondary cats I’m being shot down everywhere cuz shops don’t wanna do it maybe a emissions law or something
how is ur engine so quiet ? mine is so loud it’s annoying af
Hi bro, where u get backwindow car stickers?
when you took the cats off did it make it burble a lot more or just louder I have a 328xi and I lowkey want to take my secondary cats off
Yea there louder and more frequent i got my 328i with no muffler , no res and no sec cat , the burbles are way more. literally just tap on the gas and it pops.
@@richgangg2407 is your check engine light on from that?
sounds just like my e92 325i
Does It only pops on sport mode?
Do you cel on and does it pass inspection
Can you slide it even when you turn off xdrive? Is it easy to do a burn out or slide it in a uturn?
I haven't had much luck with doing burnouts since mines is an automatic. With drifting and sliding around, it is VERY easy to do once you lock up the wheels. It's a little harder to do donuts considering none of the 3 series had an LSD with the exception of the M3's, but it takes some practice around abandoned parking lots for you to learn how the car slides. Of course if the pavement is wet, you will have no problems sliding around. It's a lot of fun haha
@@ImErice Wow so even with urs being Xdrive? It can slide well? Do you use M1 or M2, doesnt it shift up the gear tho?
I use the first gear for the most part to initiate my drifts, second gear if I'm trying to maintain that momentum while I'm doing donuts. Normally it automatically shifts up to the next gear, but I have the XHP TCU flash tune which makes my rev limiter bounce off instead of automatically shifting to the next gear.
@@ImErice Wow! there is a flash tune for the e90s?
@@ImErice please show a video of a drift or a rev limit bouncing
How you limited the car? When i out mine in 7k rpm he change the Gear automatic
Look up XHP flash. It's a flash tune that gives you the option to have your rev limiter bounce instead of shifting into next gear
I’m going tomorrow and getting rid of my sec cats lol
Bouta start posting car content I have the same thing on an e92
Awd?
What rear bumper do you have ?
M3 rep bumper
Right now I have a 2.5 inch straight pipe from the secondary cats back, thinking of doing a secodary cat delete soon. My ig is @frstrs.e90
Does the secondary car dele tree decrease mpg? Or is it the same as a res and muffler delete
Secondary cat delete decrease mpg*
actually increases gas milage since gases can flow freely and less restricted. mine has gone up from 17.5 to about 18.2 since i got my secondary cats removed a few months ago.
How you check water temperature in this car ?
you need to get into the secret menu. search it up
