- Yesterday, I posted a video about Heka Chests being PURPOSELY removed from Assassin's Creed Origins. Some of you were angry, but kind of expected this. It gave me a thought...could Odyssey be next? Imagine no Olympic Gifts...and how does this make you feel about Red?

I've long since taken advantage of the Olympian Gifts by collecting Orichalcum like crazy and getting every weapon, armor piece, and whatnot the game has. So I'm not to bothered by this. But I do respect the fact that others are very bothered by this and should be.
I played origins to finish some challenges and noticed it myself. It’s about maximizing their profits and screw the gamers,.
You can't maximize profits if you piss everybody off and they stop playing it 😉
If that's what they're doing, not releasing the mtx for free is just proof that this is just another push for selling them.
I think in Odyssey Sargon doesn't offer ALL legendary items in his store. I got to a point when week after week he had the same items that I had already got, there was nothing new. And I did wait for the new stuff to appear for a long time. Because of that it took me about 2 years to get everything, just because I thought that spending the ore on the Olympian gift was a waste of ore. But then when I had a couple of thousand of it, I thought, what the hell, might as well give it a try. In the end, I got the rest of legendary items from the Olympian gift.
To me it’s not worth spending money on any game from Ubisoft. I bought the Assassin’s Creed games for real money and now I have to pay to play them on Ubisoft?! It’s BS in big fat letters. I will not buy another game from Ubisoft.
Do you think they been seeing what rockstar done with the gta+,and what they are raking in?
GTA online sucks anyway. My God, I cannot believe people are still playing that online and buying crap for it. Give a bunch of people some turds and tell them it's chocolate cake, and they eat it up. 😆
Ubisoft don't want you grinding in game for their store gear.
Interesting, wouldn't you want people to actually play your game instead of just cheesing with your credit card and getting all the best gear.

If it happens in odyssey I guess Valhalla could also follow suit.
Valhalla has no loot box system aside from the weekly random gift though. Using that alone would take literal years to complete even just a single set of armour, considering you can get anything ranging from random weapons, to mount, to useless Ship and Settlement cosmetics, so removing it wouldn't really make a difference to them in my opinion.
