Love this series, I obviously took notes of all your comments/suggestions/bugs. I'm currently working on the next major update so it'll take a little while before everything is fixed 😉
I can’t believe how awesome this is already in such a super early build!!! Absolutely amazing. The dark ride stuff and transition to outdoor rollercoaster looks so good and so realistic. Kudos to both you and the developer!!
Hey are you good with TMTK? Because my textures my models keep coming in zoomed in. I put the model into unreal engine 5 and it worked fine. I don’t know if it’s me or if the system is broken. Didn’t have a problem with it before
I feel like the coaster builder needs work. JLW is obviously pretty new to it, but it seems difficult to get a smooth and well profiled ride. As for all the dark ride and park stuff, it looks great! Much better than anything NL2 has to offer in-game
The dev says in future updates it will be much easier to smooth. The coaster builder isn't too bad after you use it for a bit. Dev has also stated heart lining will also be added as well!
Smoothing is currently being worked on, I have found some bugs that affected the transitions between nodes, and I will implement better tangents in 0.2
It seems nice but it lacks the sense of speed Planet Coaster has and I'm still not a fan of the node based builder. It needs a more natural smoothing option like No Limits has, and that's a sim that's been out for almost twenty years.
it's a tad tricky at the moment but if you hit "f" on your keyboard it will switch you to walking mode and when next to the train you press "e" and you will enter the train. you can enter the front bumper or any of the seats
