      Expensive. But out of this world SuperStrat. If your into session playing, it would straight up be a very versatile guitar for studio work.

    i've said a coupla million times that i can't stand the headstocks on the James Tyler models... but this one isn't as off-putting. not to mention the rest of the guitar is absolutely stunning.

      I don't know WTF happened, but I spent a lifetime hating Tyler headstocks up until about 10 years ago and now I love them, it completes the look. I almost find it distracting how much toned down this one is.

    I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again… you make Strats sing! Also, whenever I watch one of your demos, I am immediately inspired to play something. I think it’s the melodic choices you make that get the creative juices flowing. Love it!

    I was waiting for the storm trooper in the back to hold his arms up and rock back and forth. That guitar sounds like a David Gilmour guitar.

    I play the modern strats from Suhr, Tom Anderson and an early Studio Elite HD with midboost. They are all great, the TA and Suhr are like a Porsche, smooth, refined, top quality and beautiful....the JT is like a v10 muscle car.

      Yo man! Could you share your experience of your fret after so many years? Like do they last long? Have you re-fretted them? I am considering getting one but the life of fret is what I am concerned 😅

    That’s a beautiful guitar, it reminds me of Palazzo Versace, looks expensive, it’s expensive, it’s impressive with a wonderful sound produced by your amazing playing. Nice headstock and hardware. I have to put GTR77 in the list to visit next time. I look forward to seeing and listening more James Taylor’s. ✌️🤩👍 🎸

    Hi Jon!! It’s a fantastic video :)) I can see that you are a big fan of JT. Could you please share some examples that’s relevant to the life expectancy of JT’s fret? I only have one nickel guitar which is Musicman axis. I love it but its fret became greener and I felt not very smooth after 4 years. Unlike my other SS fret guitar :(

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  9 месяцев назад +1

      If I were you.. just get the fret polisher from music nomad and your frets will be looking just fine. Unless your frets are like really badly dented, there’s no need for re fretting.

    Hi Jon, the made-in-Japan James Tyler in the background, is this the one you did a Demo of not too long back? If so can I ask what made you purchase this guitar? I have a made-in-Japan Black Classic level 1 on order. So excited to get it in October. Thanks for a great Demo.

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  Год назад +1

      I bought the guitar because of how it sounded like. The workmanship is above par...I've played the US made ones and i find very or no differences at all. So much so that I've ordered another Jap JT which will arrive when it arrives lol....Have fun with yours!!✌♥

    This is what i would call a "marmite" guitar, you either want one, or you wouldn't
    give it a second look if it was in a line of other more desirable guitars.
    I am an old fashioned buyer that prefers guitars in solid but not pastel colours
    with more traditional styling.
    The slanted pickups just don't look right somehow.
    Each to their own, but for this sort of money i know an excellent luthier that
    can make any guitar that you desire at a lot more sensible price.
    Thanks for your excellent demo Jon, hope you are keeping safe and well.🙂❤👍

    Well, isn't that a great guitar? Is this one a custom? I'm asking because there's no pickguard. That's my preference in a Strat. I want to see wood grain and don't want to see a pickguard. All of the guitars on their website have pickguards. What's up?

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  Год назад

      They have started doing smear models without pickguards… some, like you would rather have the whole design✌️❤️
