I've heard a few demos of this guitar lately so it's been coming up in my recommended, it's crazy how distinctive it sounds from other guitars, it really has a sound all it's own and I could hear it right away.

Congratulations… Killer guitar! I absolutely LOVE Tylers! That Burning Water finish is just mesmerizing! I’ve got a Studio Elite in Green Shmear with an all maple standard 59 neck that I got from Eddie‘s Guitars online and I’ve had it for five years now. It is - in my opinion - the PRS of super Strats. Nothing you can’t do with one of these. Enjoy and again, congratulations!

Thanks! Yeah this is a dream guitar and its versatility is on par with how well it plays! the green shear is an amazing finish as well!

Amazing. Congrats and thanks for the share. Those who are NOT in the know (like I used to be) absolutely could not even give this guitar the time of day. . . NOW, as more mature and knowledgeable. . . JT's are drop dead droolworthy instruments of tone heaven. One can only hope to own one or play one one day. Cheers!

thanks! yes these are kind of under the radar (maybe because of the polarizing headstock) but they are incredible...I still lust of Tyler's on the internet on a daily basis

    Congratulations, awesome guitar.
I know the feeling. For me it is a Tom Anderson, I finally got one and both Tyler and Anderson are instrument's for a lifetime! Enjoy life with it!

Nice Demo. Beautiful Guitar. Sounds Amazing. That headstock does remind me of an Airbus 380. But that's Okay.♥

The head stock observations seem to come up with a few brands .
I noticed that when you play . You can’t see it . And normally to busy loving the sounds .

True, the Tyler headstock is one of an acquired taste! I love it but my brother couldn't hate it more!lol I appreciate the kind words!

Looks and sounds great. I was considering this vs Tom Anderson, went with latter, but it was literally 50/50 toss, as both are excellent guitars worthy of commitment. Enjoy.

Thanks! I really dig Tom Anderson's and definitely want to get my hands on one at some point!

Played about a dozen Andersons, then finally found "the one" and owned it. Played a half dozen Tyler's and wanted to keep every one I got my hands on. Don't know how they do it but every Tyler I've played just felt right at home.
Finally got a Tyler Classic in alien guano and byebye Anderson! Pretty much byebye to everything else because they all get neglected except the Goshawk.
Have a custom order Tylerbaster in barn find due in next month, and that'll be the last one to thin the rest of the herd out.

@@CollinLittlejohn i order my SE HD, but I was hesitating between stainless steel or nickel silver, I don’t have anything against SS frets but went with nickel, because it’s the original Tyler flavor. Anyway enjoyed watching your video before ordering mine.

      English:
Those are both great options! the Jeff Beck masterbuilt will be more traditional feeling than the James Tyler Studio Elite. However the Jeff Beck has some serious upgrades and modern appointments. custom ordering a James Tyler though will allow you to choose options to make it more your own. good luck on the guitar hunt!

I wish I could play this to know why they are $3000 above every other boutique

    • @CollinLittlejohn
      @CollinLittlejohn  Год назад

ultimately I think it comes down to the significantly smaller quantity of guitars they produce as compared to other boutique guitar makers. Highly customizable special orders and tons of care and time put into each one. it's hard to maintain the same level of attention to each instrument if you are producing 5-10x the amount of guitars. That being said, there are plenty of incredible guitar makers on the boutique side of things that care for their instruments and customers a great deal and produce solid instruments. So far, nothing compares to the quality, customer service, or stability of a James Tyler IMO.
