I met Greg Laurie while he was out witnessing with his merry men at a laundromat. He invited my boyfriend and me to a Bible study. It was up the Calvary Chapel “OD” green at the time. It was in 1972 and I was a witness to the fact that Greg had hail. Lol. He was dynamite then and now. I just love I’m so much. We attended and served as teachers for the jr. high kids. I am so humbled to be lead to Christ and will never forget how God put us together. So sorry about Christopher, but he is waiting for us in heaven! Amen

Amazing. As a new Christian I was blown away ( and still am) at how you were able to handle the incredible loss of your son. There really is something different about how those with the hope of eternity with Jesus grieve. Now I've seen you handle the death of Pastor Jared and it's obvious that God is with you. God Bless you Laurie family. I can't wait to meet Christopher in heaven.

I remember your radio broadcast and as I was wearing my earbuds as I was a machinist at that time and it was such a shock. And to hear the determination and grace that was with you and you family. Thank God you are a man that STANDS in times of uncertainty. I love you Pastor Greg for being the man of God and leader you are. To this day I still listen and watch your videos. My son’s anniversary is 9/8/2019. I’m praying for direction for a memorial and how to deal with the situation that caused his parting. A motorcycle crash...not hit, but a run. Left him dead on a stonewall.
I am so sorry for your losses. I can not even begin to fathom what you feel inside. The blessed hope we have is we will reunite one beautiful day with our dearly departed from us for now!
I lost a daughter to suicide I know what he's going through,we always remember the time they turned up to our house ,we forget what day it's is we remember the anniversary of their death though
