I spent 19+ yrs honing my craft - driving a big truck Over_the_road (roughly 150,000 to 160,000 miles per year, every year, living in my truck at least 300+ days per year) - driving it safely - incident free - dodging the crazies...
Both take *skillz* , but only one career path (of the two of these) provides happiness to others! Only one of these two gifts can possibly take you past *mediocre* in this life (if you so choose, and *work* at it!)
I wish you all continue and desire to focus and work on this chosen *craft* ...

While I never regret my chosen profession, I do *wish* I had the *gift* that all the *OMF* crew show in these many, many videos... some 45 odd years ago.
I simply hope the desire will stay strong in these young ones to continue to practice and honor their craft, so as they grow towards adulthood, theirs skillz will continue to mature and grow with them.
@@rpetercrockett absolutely. These kids amaze me. Heck, I can't snap my fingers and tap my toes at the same time, let alone do what the kids do, lol. Lots of respect for real "drivers" out there. I do shipping and receiving for a living, so I have a lot of interaction with drivers on daily basis. Stay safe out there and be careful.

I'm 56 and it's great to see kids today into REAL music again. You guys rock. First saw slayer in 84 show no mercy tour in a little club back then called L'Amours back home in Brooklyn. L'Amours grew to be the metal capitol of NY. Saw metallica when cliff and Dave were still in the band... Again you guys rock!!! Where you guys from, would love to come jam with you. I was lead guitarist in a thrash metal band called "fall of rome" back in the 80s & 90s

Let's give a huge 👍🤘 to the O'Keefe Music Foundation for giving kids the support, guidance, and belief that they can play some of the hardest rock that we have enjoyed over the years. From Tool to Slayer to Dream Theatre, their students have continuously shown the ability to not only play complex, technical music, but also do it with precision and style. Another great one here with "South of Heaven." Excellent job by these kids - so glad to see the young ones enjoying METAL from my childhood!
