Action 52 isn't just a glitchy mess. Apparently Vincent Perry the founder of Active Enterprises lost a ton of money on marketing (Which in itself wasn't easy to find) and future products he had in mind than he earned on sales and he went into hiding, wishing to never be found again.
At 9:57 he is incorrect. The key will respawn after you walk two rooms away. My buddies speedrun Luigi's Mansion and I run LM2, so we've seen this stuff before and we know that the Van Gore key won't softlock you, it's just a time loss if you forget it.
HOWEVER! One must never save his/her game after catching the last Boo in Vincent van Gore's Portrait Studio. The reason is because of the legendary gold diamond that spawns after one catches Boo #50. The game immediately prompts the player to save the game. But, upon reloading the save, the gold diamond WILL BE LOST FOREVER!!! It is highly recommended that players should save at a Toad save point, not by E. Gadd's save prompt.

Depending on how many sidequests you take on, you'll be around 15-20 hours into the game, but you'll fight a dragon boss named Albion in your airship. Once you defeat him, he demands you fight him again, this time on the ground and without your airship. When you land, what's supposed to happen is that Albion appears and starts the battle immediately. However, in a large amount of US copies, Albion fails to spawn, rendering the game impossible to finish. Now, if that were it, I probably wouldn't suggest it, but the Albion glitch is special because of the way you fix it: YOU CAN'T. If you start a new game, the exact same thing will occur. Your only solution is to buy another copy.
There's also one in PS2 version of Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition REMIX is that if you complete the Tokyo Challenge mode, reset the game, and then if you go to options in the main menu or exit any game session. The game will crash.

There is a way you can pass the mission even with that glich. The only way you can do it is just with (you guessed it) cheats. I did it. It was damn hard, though.
There's also a game-breaking glitch in Spyro: Shadow Legacy (DS). The door to the first major boss in the game requires that you have a certain amount of items collected (I forgot what they were) but even if you don't have those items, it brings up the prompt "(X) Open" when you go up to the door. If you don't have the items, you can press X and.....nothing happens. And then the door is permanently disabled and even when you get the required items, you cannot open it because the door is glitched out. This effectively prevents you from progressing any further, forcing you to start a new game.
Spy ds games are alot more then just mobile games but that game really obscure so that why p.s i just finsh the video and guess what number 1 is a ds game i guess people do care
i actually checked my PS2s model number, and i unfortunately have model SCPH-39001 apparently theres no way i can play jak X without that glitch occurring
2zporygon Actually, there is a way. If you just load the game and as soon as the game is loaded take out the memory card. The game will pop up with a message saying something like "Memory card in port 1 was removed. Auto-save disabled. Please enable by manually saving from the profile screen" Then you can play the game to your hearts content, and simply stick the memory card back in when your done and save. That worked for me and I have a SCHP-70003 slim model
Gonna try that one I just played jak x one time and when i came back, the disc stopped working, a lot of tries and nothing, the same happen with dbz budokai 3 when i unlocked most of the content, it really pissed me off at the time
I believe you could fix the jak x bug by removing the memory card and inserting it again. The game would go "WHAT YOU DO THAT FOR" and then carry on and save properly
I have one, In Paper Mario 64, if you obtain goompa and somehow manage to open the partner menu while he is the active partner, on all versions except the Japanese version the game will violently crash, BYPASSING the crash handler built into the game and it has a chance of bricking your console. (this requires some workarounds to obtain him permanently though)
I love your opening line about loving the imperfections of something and them becoming more easter eggs, than glitches! Some glitches in the history of video games actually inspired developers or were than turn into features themselves.
You made a true statement about PC games having some glitches due to varied hardware. However unlike consoles PC users can actually access the files inside the games, and edit them if necessary. A lot of times repairing the glitch.
I know a way to bypass the Jak X Racing save bug (BTW I have the game). Here's what you need to do. Save the game manually. After you save the game manually take out the PS2 save card. It works. It's the auto save that causes the game to glitch out.
in Bully: Scholarship Edition on the Xbox One (backwards compatible), when you get to a level where you have to break johnny out of the asylum, three doors close. one of them is broken and you are supposed to open them. in this version, you cant open the door. it prompts you to but when you do, it almost immediately fails and you keep trying to open it. which makes this games impossible to open. as of the 20/12/16, its imcompletable. nice job Rockstar and Microsoft
The game is really broken in general. I don't think it has much to do with the xbox one since it just emulates the 360. It's possible you just got unluky at that specific point. There's many points in the game where you can get stuck in an endless death animation loop (it happened to me twice) or in one youtubers case, get stuck in a busted animation and can't escape, forcing a game reload, and if you didn't save often, you were fucked. Overall, it's not a very polished game, even if being a port of the PS2 game.
In Mirror's Edge Catalyst, during the mission Savant Extraordinaire, there's an way to reach the end of the mission in something like 2 minutes. However, you need to backtrack in the mission area to trigger the final checkpoint. BUT BE CAREFULL!!! If you backtrack too far, you'll reach a death barrier and you'll RESPAWN on it over and over without anyway to access the pause menu. Not so bad, you can always close and booth up the game, but even that doesn't fix the issue, as how the game works, is that when you booth up the game, you spawn at your last checkpoint which is... the death barrier. so your only way out... is to delete your save file.
Well, the simple fix, is don't play that piece of garbage. The first game was awesome. The second one was terrible. It's like comparing SR2 to Action 52.
It's a kid, I'm willing to bet his parent or sibling or someone he trusted told him it would be fine and convinced him to try it. We all believed stupid shit as kids.
This was patched quickly, but when Pokémon X and Y came out, there was a glitch where, if you saved in certain areas of Lumiose City, the game would freeze upon reloading. Thankfully, it wasn’t too far into the game, so if it happened as soon as it was possible you wouldn’t have to replay too much game after restarting.
9:53 When you forget your car key... Edit: Yes,I said something stupid in the first edit. Sorry for saying something about likes,I honestly wasn't expecting this many.
I loved that game when it came out. I always got the key first, then went boo hunting. No sensible person hunts boo first, especially after collecting the loot from the boss battle, which includes the key.
I experimented with the Madd Dogg glitch on the Xbox 360 remastered version, and it was slightly patched. Madd Dogg still jumps too early for you to do anything, but he only does after the cutscene and not during like shown in the video. Also, restarting the mission when the game prompts you to seems to fix it.
@@detroit-vs-everybody8601 just redo the game and don't save using any peds attack cheat I also recommend you don't save using riot cheat. Just save using money heath no wanted maybe infinite heath ammo or never wanted. This are the only cheats I activate/ deactivate in a save game

I had to do the ENTIRE LEVEL AGAIN.this was on the first play through... I almost ragequit.

Wait, but my 360 got the red ring of death and all i had to do was take apart the plastic, put the motherboard or whatever that thing is, i forgot the name, and cook the virus out at 360°F for a couple minutes...BOI!!!!!!!
The red ring of death was primarily the heat sink overheating due to an improper amount of thermal paste applied from the factory. If you took it apart and applied fresh thermal paste, you would have a working 360
@@SlothFang Also that the video chip was joined with tin soldering pellets instead of a led one, due to environmental laws. This coupled with the heatsink overheat would melt the soldering and disconnect the video chip, resulting in RRoD. Overall a very sloppy built machine.

Enter the Matrix is worse than just what was brought up in the segment... the game had a hacking side mission thing that you could access basically from the start of the game, and it would unlock cheats as you progressed through it... but if you used those cheats before a particular point in the story (one of the early bosses) the game would lock itself during the cutscene. I returned three copies of the game before I just gave up on it.
+Delta “Boss” 1138 That's true. The Age of Empires game glitching with three characters or less actually kinda makes sense from a game programming perspective. Now the real mistake was not just making it impossible to have less than four characters.
Flippy was erased from existence, so there's no chance he'll ever see this comment. That means I can say "Saints Row 2 has a game-breaking glitch called the Freezer, where breaking out of bounds during a zombie mission and going back to free roam will likely cause a humanoid shape to appear and completely brick your game" without any chance of getting a response. Feels good.
About the WiiU bricking up: I worked the return counter at Best Buy and also for Geek Squad. THIS explains why there were so many damn WiiU console returns!!! We were all baffled at the store. Our policy on returns is to test it yourself at the counter, and no one could figure out what the hell was wrong. We ended up making a new replacement in most cases.
Quick question, why would you not pick up the key in luigis mansion? It's just sitting there and picking it up take three seconds or so, so why wouldn't you just grab it first before fighting the boo?
18:00 happened to me on christmas a few years ago when I first got a wii u... I finished updating, started Smash 4, and as soon as I tried to battle, I got that error... But I COULDNT EVEN TURN ON MY CONSOLE. Every time I did, my wii u immediately gave me the error or a "disc drive" error, and even though I sent my console to nintendo themselves, they couldn't fix it. Though apparently it happened because there was an error reading the data for mii's I sent over from my 3ds to the console, and it tried loading mii fighter data without me even having one, and my game corrupted the system.
I remember a glitch that me and my brother had found on Dynasty Warriors 3 for the PS2. Near the end of the Nanman Campaign level, when you were in the boss's base, there was a certain pool of running water. If you switched to archer mode and looked down at this water while moving around randomly, the game would undergo a strange graphical glitch. It's been so long that I don't remember the exact effects, but it seemed like it disabled certain graphics layers and effects like fog and fading were messed up. This effect would persist permanently, even after exiting the level, and fade-out transitions no longer worked, instead the game would just snap to the new screen whenever it loaded. The effect could be "toggled" by doing the same thing again. We never saved the game or turned it off with the glitch active though, since we were afraid of what might happen to the memory or hardware, so no clue what could have happened. Not exactly a game-breaking glitch though, since the game still played as normal despite graphical flaws, but it was interesting.
I never actually encountered that Jak X glitch, and me and my brother played that game ALL THE TIME when we got our hands on it.... Speaking of Hardware malfunction, PS4 seems to have one that's like a cold, where it'll "Encounter an error" and force the game to close, It plagued me for the longest time, even preventing me from finishing AC Syndicate and even playing Just Cause 3........Now I haven't ran into it in months, like it just up and vanished, Freaking weird....
I believe each PS4 update combats the disc error problem, but it can happen any time. I had it happen over and over on Black Ops 3 on PS4 for the longest. The last time it's happened now is a couple weeks ago (same game), but no problems since last fw update.
Alex M I don't really have the problem on BOIII anymore, it used to happen EVERY TIME one of us would finish a match online, but not it only ever seems to happen if we play 3-Player Split-Screen on Nuketown, as if we might be doing more than it can handle, since we make it so we get our streaks faster and usually use some bigger ones.... Lately it's been doing it with DOOM every time I try to load into a level, I dunno if Doom is just capable of overloading it or what.....
In Zelda twilight princess when you do the final boss fight against ganon where you fight him with a sword, a random glitch sometimes appears for no apparent reason where your sword just goes through him. I didn't know this was a glitch however and I looked it up online and people said the easiest way top kill him is to distract him with a fishing pole. I'm pretty sure you can imagine how stupid I looked. Anyways you have to restart the entire temple and boss fight.

Actually, there is a way.

I know a way to bypass the Jak X Racing save bug (BTW I have the game). Here's what you need to do. Save the game manually. After you save the game manually take out the PS2 save card. It works. It's the auto save that causes the game to glitch out.

What was the cheat that breaks the game?
@AutspieDrough+ well, i dont use those kind of cheats but only healt and gun cheats.
Guys, you can actually pass the mission, even though it has that glich. I did it. I'm really not joking.
in Bully: Scholarship Edition on the Xbox One (backwards compatible), when you get to a level where you have to break johnny out of the asylum, three doors close. one of them is broken and you are supposed to open them. in this version, you cant open the door. it prompts you to but when you do, it almost immediately fails and you keep trying to open it. which makes this games impossible to open. as of the 20/12/16, its imcompletable. nice job Rockstar and Microsoft
Overall, it's not a very polished game, even if being a port of the PS2 game.
hoodzeo both of you have horrible luck, I've beat the game multiple times and I've never had a problem.
The PC version is notoriously terrible too. There were ways to make it work in Win 7 but 10 is completely broken. I love the game too.

*CAREFUL
Well, the simple fix, is don't play that piece of garbage. The first game was awesome. The second one was terrible. It's like comparing SR2 to Action 52.

And THATS why I never beat Grand Theft Auto.

@@seanharris9002 *sure why not*
The red ring of death was primarily the heat sink overheating due to an improper amount of thermal paste applied from the factory.

LOL! That's a pretty bad glitch indeed...
Congrats, you've made another seemingly infinitely rewatchable video
If Luigi rescues Mario that means he can rescue everyone Mario does.
I never actually encountered that Jak X glitch, and me and my brother played that game ALL THE TIME when we got our hands on it....
Speaking of Hardware malfunction, PS4 seems to have one that's like a cold, where it'll "Encounter an error" and force the game to close, It plagued me for the longest time, even preventing me from finishing AC Syndicate and even playing Just Cause 3........Now I haven't ran into it in months, like it just up and vanished, Freaking weird....
wOaH
Well, like flippy said in the video, the glitch isn't in some models, so maybe you have the good model
I believe each PS4 update combats the disc error problem, but it can happen any time. I had it happen over and over on Black Ops 3 on PS4 for the longest. The last time it's happened now is a couple weeks ago (same game), but no problems since last fw update.
Alex M
I don't really have the problem on BOIII anymore, it used to happen EVERY TIME one of us would finish a match online, but not it only ever seems to happen if we play 3-Player Split-Screen on Nuketown, as if we might be doing more than it can handle, since we make it so we get our streaks faster and usually use some bigger ones....
Lately it's been doing it with DOOM every time I try to load into a level, I dunno if Doom is just capable of overloading it or what.....
Crimson_Shadow89 Always happened when starting/playing zombies mode on BO3. Has happened on Uncharted 4 once.
