I'm so grateful that Achilles Come Down has been given more airplay. It's never played live (probably due to its length). The combo of Tones & I unique voice, the choir and strings really do this song justice.

I appreciate how different this is from the original in terms of arrangement but it's still very much in the spirit of the original. I always love a Like A Version with strings and/or choir and this is one of my favourite songs of all time. As far as I'm concerned, Tones and I has my respect now.
3:54 is the BEST moment in this cover. The sound goes straight to the soul especially with the bell sounds

Had to stop what I was doing and watch this with 100% concentration. I've got chills, i've got goose bumps, my eyes are sensing onions hearing that crescendo...Tones' singing brought home Dave's battles with 'Achilles' beautifully. I'm sure the Gang will love it and this is contender for best of 2022/23 LaV!

I am hopelessly addicted to those chimes at 3:52. Never heard another cover of this song do that and I still have chills every time I hear it. Are those microtones?! I know it's something between A# and G, but it doesn't sound like those chimes are tuned to semitones... I don't understand it, but it's incredible. A# - F## - F##? Maybe A# - Abb - F##???

I was thinking the same thing! Although early Sia was often so mumbly you couldn't make out the words. Tones strikes a nice balance here.

I've listened to the original version countless times, but this cover has made me actually hear the lyrics for the first time....

I didn't think that the voice of Tones and I would fit with this song, since this song has a nuance of ancient Greek tragedy and I thought her voice is somehow modern, but I'm honestly surprised by how she conveys the emotion. I can feel the sadness and pain of Achilles now..I personally think this is better than the original one
