Interesting how Aston Martin adopted the Italian name superleggera, and Ferrari adopted the English name superfast.

The Aston’s body was designed by Italian coach builder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. You’ll see similar same Superleggera badges on other brands too

That FR convertible Ferrari 275 GTS could be worth up to two million USD. Unreal collection.

Hey Ethan. I have an idea!! You are completely right. They are so beautiful! Old cars are growing on me... However, I don't want to be a collector. Someone should create a club that handles mantainance and let members reserve and drive the cars. All members are owners without the burden of any ownership for just a guilty weekend pleasure. The collectors club could host events and make it so much fun. Let me know if you would be interested in starting one. I would love to make an international club to avoid rentals and get an excuse to travel to some places....

I like to wander through small car museums, as well. The treat of my lifetime was the Duesenberg-Cord Museum in Auburn, Indiana. The museum is a small intimate museum in a great Indiana town. The 1937 Cord 812 convertible, like an Aston Martin from the 60s for you, is my ultimate dream car. The 812 was an Art Deco masterpiece.
And, yes I am a car nut.

1920s-1990s are the autos I fancy. I'm a 20th century man. What a tremendous little gem of a museum. It's always amazing to be in the presence of such craftsmanship. And where there is only one Mona Lisa, these automobile manufacturers turned out dozens, hundreds or thousands of those rolling works of art. Thank you for sharing your fantastic day; what an absolute treat!
