While filming with gopro from inside turn the stabilization to minimum bc otherwise camera is never looking straight ( 12:31 ), also use Superview or at least wide lens to get the sense of speed, video recorded on linear or narrow look pretty slow
Sure loved seeing the beast again. Also, sure wish I lived nearby... I could film for you man! I know you're on a budget, but I think you may want to get a Lumix G7, or something similar to film handheld, tripod, or mount?? I used one as a #2 camera in Film School and I swear, I got more comments on that footage, than a $3000 camera. Just food for thought. I really love what you're doing. Thank you for the content regardless. I love that you show the grit and grime of motorsports too. Give me a holler if you want to chat more about cameras. Cheers!
@@ScuderiaBlendLine I just read my previous comment and feel that I may have come off as offensive. For that, I apologize. I truly believe that you have something special here, and think you deserve a solid camera man/woman! Keep doing what you're doing. 👍
No offense taken at all. I currently use a few different cameras a sony handy cam for in the tent as it has good sound in front and behind the camera + easier to process the timelapse videos as is low quality. I used my Panasonic FZ1000 for the latest video. I find it hard to get smooth video when hand held with that one. Any setting you could recommend to help with stability?
@@ScuderiaBlendLine Right on. First off, good on ya for having a lumix. Although, it's a lil older model, I looked into the model, it appears to be a 4k-capable camera, which is always good. I believe some of the reasons it's shakey, is due to recording settings. It looks like the camera you're using has a 5-axis image stabilization. BUT!! It'll only work in certain situations. You have to make sure the "O.I.S." button feature is turned on. Also, in order for it to work properly, you may have to film in 1080p. I would try some sample clips of yourself talking and start at 1080p (60fps). This should work. If it doesn't work, then you should try 1080p (30fps). Also, a tip I learned in film school, is to make sure your O.I.S. is OFF when using it on a tripod. Unless you are mounting it in the car. I would have it turned on. What editing software do you use? I may have tips on how to get rid of some of the shake in post editing. I know you're on the other side of the world, but if you want to zoom and go over it, I'd be willing to do that. I'll email you my information in case you want to do that. Otherwise, give it a try, and I'll help where I can. I've learned so much about editing and how to streamline the process too. Depending on what editing software you are using, I might be able to help tremendously. I shoot over my info. Good Luck!
hey, thanks for your advise, I will look at all that. I am now using Devinci Resolve :) for the entire Peugaru build I was using windows video editor up until windows no longer supported it haha
So, silly question. When you sign up for these kinds of events, I'm sure there is some sort of paperwork where you have to state what car you're bringing. What would you even put down...? Subaru, or 206?
It's great to see you have more seat time on your pride and joy. Its fun to watch whole series and now see results.
It has been a fun ride so far!

Thanks, will look into that before the car goes out again :)

Full engineering evaluation of the car to make sure it conforms safely with whatever category he desire to race it in or build it around
I put Peugeot 206 WRX down for the show. It was a demo run event so no paperwork needed.
Now just need a Subaishi for the most complete rally car ever, the biggest 2 rivals in the past 😎
Haha yes indeed!
This is a masterpiece. Why don't you build a 208 proto as well? :)
That would be cool!
15:29 Fiat Coupé 😍
Looked a good day 😎
How quick was the silver Peugabishi?
Or Peugaru?
Its was a non-competition day so I cannot tell you sorry. Slower than a 35 surely! haha
Fingers crossed they meet again one day 😎👍🏻
hey is that toyo TR1 tyres?
Yes indeed
Did you beat the other 206?
Not sure, I never checked their times!
Impreza Boxer Engine??
Correct, watch the end of the video and you will see it says on the launch comparison clips :)
How tall are you
6 and change.
Im sure you know this now, but an oil filter does not need to be so tight...
I has the O-Ring push out on the filter a while back....so better safer than sorry!
Chewing gum whilst racing isn't advised
Many sources confirm that chewing gum while driving improves alertness and reduces anxiousness, though.
@@WTFHAX93 but can also kill you if you choke on it
@@ZafiraSteveCan do that at any point to be fair 🤣
Your probably right, I like the added danger, gives me an edge:)
11:57 wait
That is not a WRC car.
It is a build that you can find on RUclips ruclips.net/video/oBjNYIPj3kQ/видео.html
Its been homologated soo fair play I say!
