Thank you doing this for making magnets. I tried watching another video and I was so confused. I'm new to Cricut but you just made this so simple to follow. Thanks again.
Dang. Caught the live video right when you were finishing up. I'll have to catch the replay. Printing out magnets sounds like a pretty cool idea. Thanks for all you do. And howdy from Oklahoma.
Omgosh, I wanna make some magnets now! I have an Explore Air 2. Would I be able to make them with it and if so, what kind of cutting blade would I need? As always, another Awesome tutorial...
I’m not familiar enough with the white toner printers to be able to tell you a 100% certain answer, but there shouldn’t be an issue as long as it’s compatible with the material you’re using. 😃
Do any perment vinyls that can be used for car decals have that uv film built in?? Realized that I never checked after making decals for my car 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Some people have tried going over the lines with a black sharpie, but I’m not sure there’s a way to set it up to where it’ll automatically print that way.
Thanks! I did do that and it worked. Just wondered if I was doing something wrong. Just did my first print and cut yesterday. Cannot wait to try the magnets!
Hi Rosa! Are you wanting to sublimate images onto a mousepad? If so, you may find this video helpful! You would just use your image of pups instead of one of the Crafty files. 😃 ruclips.net/video/wQ7mt_6WvyI/видео.html
My epson printer doesn't say fast print. It took me a google search to find out that bidirectional printing is the same thing. Gotta remember to turn that off.
This seems like a situation where a cutter isn't the best choice. A straightedge and a sharp knife and a good pair of scissors if you want rounded corners, especially for smaller magnets, would result in wasting much less material. The limitations of print and cut are beyond irritating. I have seen a few videos about work arounds that are supposed to "trick" the sensors into accepting a full sheet less margins, and I'm going to give those a try.
It all depends on what you’re wanting to cut out and how you want it to look! Plus, that extra material isn’t wasted… but that’s another video for another day! 😉❤️
the Amazon reviews are terrible for this magnetic paper.. the reviews say the magnetic paper is super thin and barely sticks to anything.. let alone.. cars.. Imma look for a better product cuz magnets are a grrrrrreat idea!!
I actually ended up ordering and testing 10 different brands and this was the type that worked best for me. However, like I said in the video, it’s not made for cars. There’s a separate video coming soon for that. 😊
Good instructions, but... I know you were just joking about eating a battery, but it's no joking matter. Young children that swallow button batteries have terrible caustic burns to their throats, sometimes causing death, or at the very least, eating and breathing issues for the rest of their life. Sorry to be a downer, just pleae be cautious about jokes...
Super cute 😊 I love to make magnets.
I love the magnet joke, that was funny. I also love that you are such a good teacher
I haven't been getting to see these because of my work schedule. Mandatory over time.
So glad you were able to catch this one, Christina! 😃 Hope you liked it!

You laid the laminate down so smoothly. Did you use the taco method?
Do you like the eco tank for a inkjet printer?
I do! It works great, however, the Canon TS9521C may be my personal favorite.
Thanks - as always I learn so much from you!
You’re so sweet! Thank you for watching, Anne!
what a great idea! I love the fresh ideas you have.

Great job
Thank you so much, Diana! 😃
Can you make photo magnets the same way?
Absolutely! 😃
Can I used the Epson Ecotank ET 2850
Can I use my white toner printer with a Cricut Maker?

Thanks for watching, Amber! 😃
I would like to watch your video about the car magnet that you mentioned but I can’t find it. Can you please provide a link to it?
Hi Michael. Would it be possible to laminate a magnet sheet either with a heat laminator or with regular laminating sheets?
Lol @ attractive joke. I love puns. ❤️
Lovethis tutorial! As always it was very informative. (Dad joke wasn't that bad 🤣😂)!
Lol! Thanks so much for watching, Starr! 😆❤️
Hey from Bristol, Tennessee
Hi Pat! Thank you for watching! 😃
How much can you charge for a 2" X 3" magnet done this way?
Can't wait
Hope you liked it, Audrey! 😃
Loved this, do have a question if someone can answer, why do you use the laminate sheet?
Hi Alisha! It was used to protect from fading from UV light as well as to protect from splashes. It’s not mandatory to use it. 😊
Don't forget to calibrate!
This is a great file to do this on.
Btw, is that a little bit of magic getting a magnet to adhere to a stainless steel fridge?
True stainless is not a ferrous metal (meaning the alloy stress not have much iron), and magnets will not adhere to it
It adhered perfectly fine with no trouble. So glad you liked the file! 😃

High quality permanent vinyl like StarCraft HD will last outdoors up to 5-6 years. 😃
trying the today
Can this be done on the Explore Air 2, or do you have to have the 3?
Absolutely! It can definitely be done on the Explore Air 2 😃
Thanks again for another simple craft. More excuses to actually use my cricut.
Thanks for watching, Lauren! Any excuse to use it is a good excuse! 😃
Why would you pick svg for a print then cut. I thought you pick png for that. Am I wrong?
The only time I can get the color print option is using design space on my phone. Crazy!
QUESTION. HOW DO YOU CREATE THE THICKER LINES AROUND THE PRINTABLE? MY PRINTER MAKES THE LINE TOO THIN TO BE READ.

Can I use a sublimation printer to do this as well or does it only have to be ink jet?
