They've set the precedent for Frieza having this incredible potential from the beginning. If you think about it, when Gohan was first hyped as having this greatest potential ever, it was back when Radditz showed up and Gohan could rage his power level into the 1000+ range. Frieza's power level, without training, was 120,000,000 - he created new forms to be _weaker_ so he could better hide his natural strength.
Well, that and because he never learned to manage his strength in his final form.
Frieza with even 4 months of training went from barely Super Saiyan level, and skipped past SSJ3, skipped SSG And was even slightly stronger than initial SSB. Imagine what he could accomplish just training an entire additional year as True Golden Frieza. He would probably surpass everyone by a decently wide margin. Probably unlock a new transformation and master it. Would make Broly and Jiren seem like child’s play.

Damn you are right, but still it is hard to wrap your mind around what frieza is and how is able to do it. I mean alot of races in Dragon usually gets that long explanation about what makes them strong frieza never got it.
I believe he’s developing the mindset of keeping them around to get powerful himself. There’s a thin line between love and hate, as much as he hates them saiyan monkeys, he needs them and low key admires their growing powers, just my opinion
Yeah I think he said something about this topic in the broly movie. Even though he was getting his ass kicked he said something like “look at your power it’s astonishing” he might be similar to the saiyans because he likes seeing strong enemies and he knows that will push him farther in the future

These two have already been pushed to the brink of death and recovered from it enough to get everything they can out of that process.
At this point the Saiyan Hack they're relying on is the Saiyan ability to adapt to challenges and break through their limits through battle experience more easily than other races.

I think it's obvious why Frieza spared them. He's paying Goku (Gogeta) back for not killing him.
Goku and Frieza lately have been having a back and forth Petty "payback" attitude with each other.
While a lot of us are shocked that freiza didn’t kill Goku and Vegeta I’m not and I believe it’s Batman and joker effect, where they need each to bring the best out of them. I saw this coming after the TOP and I wouldn’t be surprised if frieza becomes a neutral ally

That doesn't sound like Freiza at all, when Goku went to visit him in hell, he couldn't wait for his chance to kill Goku, if they are trying to make Freiza some kind of anti-hero then that is going to suck, that's like Thano's keeping the avengers alive for no reason.

Its clear now because he didn't kill Goku or Vegeta when he fully was able to without breaking a sweat. He seems to be focused on the Gods and Omni King if the anime dialogue is any indication

He knows that by keeping Goku and Vegeta around it will be a catalyst for him to achieve higher levels of power, bringing him closer to his true ultimate goal of overthrowing the gods

Frieza was able to surpassed Goku and Vegeta’s decade+ of training by just training for *half a year* in Resurrection F. Now he’s trained *10 YEARS?!* My God, he must’ve left them in the dust this time.
Still though, it’s odd that he’d choose to spare Goku and Vegeta, considering what he said in the Broly movie about how they always find a way to surpass him.

I love how this was foreshadowed in the Moro arc with Goku being trained by Meerus in another Hyperbolic chamber on another planet(potentially the same one.)

I'm sure by then Goku and Vegeta will also be way stronger. It makes shit confusing tho. Cause the Manga and Anime are 2 different continuities running in parallel to each other. While they both are Canon. They're quite different. I see some ppl saying it's Beast Gohan. But like I said the Anime continuity is going a different route than the Manga. They'll keep kinda close to the main plot points for both continuities I feel. But they'll still be different. I think frieza letting them live this time, is him paying them back for sparing him in broly. But that debt is now paid and next time hes going in for the kill. Frieza is by no means an antihero or hero, he is still a villian, but his experiences with goku no doubt have changed him just a little bit.

Freeza's main goal is to beat the gods. That's what he wanted to do back in the TOP. He wants to be the top dog, that's the main reason he trained. Beating Goku and Vegeta is just more of a bonus and he spared them because he is saving them for last once he is done wiping out the gods.
He owes them one more time. They helped him in the tournament of power and the Broly movie.
The oracle fish says that the strongest warrior in the universe has been born which could be that whoever it is has quite "literally" just been born and is still a baby and will eventually grow in power to become the strongest in the universe and thats why the wish did not affect him.
Just my opinion.

That's a cool way to hype beast Gohan, make him angry at Freiza and rush at him showing signs of his beast form while piccolo noticed that and hence superhero movie occurs.
What if the superhero movie is happening as the arc ends or directly after so we could get a gohan frieza fight or I hope since they are pulling in old villains we could see cooler come back in a new movie because for frieza to get that strong I feel like he would have to train with someone

Okay props to frieza for sparing the duo. Seems like getting stronger through training has given him an appreciation for how far Goku and Vegeta have come in their own training. This could be the start of a new chapter for Frieza. Then again, maybe he’s just playing with his food like a cat torturing a mouse. Still, gotta give it to him for ending Gas

I love the continuity of this Frieza storyline. Everybody warned Goku against using Frieza in the ToP. Frieza helps U7 survive and has his life restored. He tells them he doesn’t plan to stop his evil ways. In the Broly movie, Vegeta tells Goku that they shouldn’t overlook the threat of Frieza. Frieza then after watching Broly vs Gogeta tells Gogeta somebody who severely outclasses him that he will be back. Frieza travels the universe throughout the Moro arc. In the Granola arc, he stumbles upon MERUS’ room of spirit and time and trains for 10 days which means 10 years. Now he has returned with more power and is now the known strongest warrior in U7. (The official strongest hasn’t been revealed yet).

Vegeta was right to be worried about Frieza, it was a mistake to let him live after he watched gogeta and broly and jiren and mui goku. I think Frieza has plans bigger than Goku and Vegeta. I don't think og-73 is out the picture yet. But I do like the subtle teases of Frieza being on top again since t.o.p so it's not completely outta the picture for him to be the big bad again. I think he might be bold enough to challenge beerus

I don’t know about anybody else, But I freaking love where the manga is going and taking us! I did not see this outcome, Although, I did have a funny feeling of Frieza coming back into the fold! But I I never thought he would comeback and kill not only Gas, But Elec as well! Also revealing that he has another stronger form called “Black Frieza” ! This is getting very interesting! Now we know why Vegeta was going ape 🦍 shit on Goku in “DBS Broly” about Frieza being resurrected! He knew it wasn’t over with Frieza! I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
I’m so glad they are making Freiza interesting. I was really worried they were going to waste him as a character after ToP. So far everything post ToP where Freiza is involved is immediately fun and interesting. He even saved the Granolah arc!
Remember when we used to wonder how strong Frieza would be if he trained for 10 years since he became massively stronger with just 4 montjs? Well, here is the answer. I think Frieza needs to be the recurring villian of the franchise.

Frieza surpassed all of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT just with four months of intense training. Imagine if he trained for a full year before returning to Earth. Goku and Vegeta wouldn't have stood a chance unless they fused.

This would be a perfect opportunity to introduce Cooler. Give us some sort of backstory on both him and Frieza when they were younger. Maybe they went their separate ways to rule different parts of universe 7. Or maybe Cooler went to rule another universe. He could be stronger, faster, smarter, more mature, and more ruthless than Frieza because he’s the older brother. So he spent more of his time training. And the only way Frieza could stop him from ruling the galaxy himself is by getting help from Goku and Vegeta. Those are just my thoughts on it. Or if they don’t use Cooler at all bring Gohan in since we don’t really know how strong he is

Welp I gotta be honest… Im SOOO glad this arc is over, this was the best chapter of the entire thing. Gas’s old decaying form is dope, and Frieda coming in and killing them all is shocking but also dope….
But with that said Frieza getting a new black form and one shotting goku and vegeta… this is about the third time this has happened with a villain in a row.
And than to cap it off we now have a whole new arc that is going to be dedicated to frieza… again… for the third time.
Don't worry, next arc Goku and Vegeta will get a new hair color change and defeat the new-colored Frieza.
As long as Vegeta finally gets his killing blow on Freeza then I’m fine with it

I feel like Oil and Maki are going to use OG-73 in some way to get “revenge” for Gas and what he was put through for seemingly no reason now.
Glad this arc is over though, I’m sure it’ll flow better in trade versus weekly release, and I’m hype to see what’s happening next
Besides Frieza's race's potential when actually training, the fact that now Frieza's new base is his original semi-final form NOT 100% powered up says a lot. Think of it this way, Frieza's new base, is his non 100% full power form right? So with that said, he's basically in his "Mastered Original Final form" at all times. Now able to go Golden (Super Saiyan Blue" Equivalent, and now Black (New Final Form) Above Ego and UI. So what does that tell us? Kill his ass or he will kill everyone lol!
His "smooth" form was always his true one, all the others were downgrade forms to hide his power.
His "final form" is actually his base form. Every other form before that is used to actually lower his power, it's like he's nerfing himself.

Frieza must have something to gain by letting goku and vegeta live because Frieza usually wouldn't hesitate to kill either one of them.. There must be a greater evil in some other universe or something that frieza wants to use the saiyans to defeat, because Frieza does not like to the destroy he likes to rule so someone is probably in the way of him ruling another universe or something

Friza showing up explaining what has happened in the time we didn't see him and dipping is probably the most hyped up mystery you can do. The possibilities are endless now. If we also get a time skip for the super hero movie then that's a lot of time for frieza to have some sort of plan when we get back to him. Maybe that's why goku is training broly. For the war to come with frieza.

So maybe this is the sign of things to come and we get a lead up to frieza. Gas’ death is up there as one of the most brutal and graphic ones I’ve seen in Dragon Ball, that was intense. Glad DB is bringing back that Z brutality. And it’s always nice to see Frieza again

Saw a vote the other day where people rated Goku Black as a better villain then Frieza. I couldn't disagree more... Frieza is way more iconic! His right next to Darth Vader and The Joker as one of the best villains ever for me.

I love how they are keeping Frieza a villain through and through, instead of making him out to be some kind of hero or antihero. He’s supposed to be the ultimate villain and he is evil. We see that too often these days, especially in Dragon Ball, where villains are either redeemed or they get watered down and become a lesser version of themselves.
Frieza will forever be the best villain.

If Frieza trained for 10 years, this makes him 10 years older and wiser. Remember that. He's been showing signs of growth even before that. There's a reason he has kept Goku and Vegeta alive.

I completely agree. Because it really doesn't make sense otherwise as to why Frieza would save them and then spare their life otherwise. This dude has shown no hesitation for killing a damaged opponent in the past.
I think this was Frieza telling them both "Get stronger and do it fast". in his own way.
Because if you think about it. Frieza probably knows that Vegeta wouldn't listen to a word he has to say, and he wouldn't have an easier time with Goku. So I think this was his way of getting both Vegeta and Goku on the path he wants them on.

Tbh I don’t think Frieza even really wants to kill Goku and Vegeta anymore. He just wants to humiliate them. He wants to prove over and over again he’s superior.

Honestly looking at it now from the Moro Arc to present, the tone of DragonBall is starting to get that Dbz sort of mystery and intensity back, of course it’s not exactly similar but it’s getting there and I’m enjoying it.
Frieza will probably be a neutral ally as someone else mentioned. He may help against the possible real strongest in the universe that was mentioned. Frieza has always been one of the main characters, so I don't see him being killed off again. He brings a surprise factor because of how devious he can be.
I don't think Frezia helping out would be in character the tournament of power made since since everything was on the line. But here Frezia can train as long as he wants he has no need to help the people he hate.

What I expect and want is seeing more of frieza fighting but even more so i wanna see his backstory, and arc solely about him excluding Vegeta and Goku, finding out more ab his race and why his race hates the saiyans so much leading up to him being the main villain in the final arc he is alive and Vegeta killing him off
Frieza is probably the strongest now, but he’s not the person that the oracle fish talked about. But someone or something has been born that is. You could take that literally or figuratively. Goku has bardock’s scouter I think we’re seeing more bardock since Frieza is around again. Or goku is going to improve on what he’s been learning and tap into that end of z state he had where in base he just uses ultra instinct and this might be the last arc before the end of z. It feels fitting ending it with frieza.
Whis just said he wasn't he might be stronger then goku and vegeta at the moment but there someone strong then frieza current level and gohan beast doesn't exist yet in the Manga.
Well if we take it as something that was just born. Who knows when it'll come into play, could be a future threat very far off in the future or could be a neutral party.

I randomly woke up at 5AM and we get ANOTHER video from Geekdom, this is how you start a morning! What a conclusion to such a stretch of an arc. It makes sense now with the power difference between Frieza and the Saiyans. To come back saying I trained for 10 years?! Black Frieza is insane! Wherever the story goes, I’m definitely excited to see more!
When you said he trained for the equivalent of 10 years I let out an audible 'YOOOOO'. In story context, that is terrifying. That hohoho bout to hit different.

I'm so glad he Frieza actually spent years training to gain this power like your supposed to. We see characters become super strong with no training it was hard to care about their power boost.
I think Frieza has changed some since he was revived, he does enjoy battle and I think he knows Goku and Vegeta are going to get stronger and he wants to beat them when they’re even stronger, or maybe Frieza knows about an upcoming threat that even his new power can’t beat and he knows he needs the Saiyans to win
Elec backup plan is gonna be known in next coming chapters. Rememeber he made another wish which is yet to be revealed.

Bro the fact that vegeta was right at the start of the broly movie when he said “ he’s training to get stronger because there was a chance Freiza would come back and surpass them one day and the fact that the first time we see frieza since the broly movie he surpassed both Goku and vegeta
What i find interesting is that Frieza leaving Goku and Vegeta be, kinda signals a slight character progression for him. Back in Z or even in Resurection F, he would kill them on the spot, but after being spared by Goku not once, not twice, but 3 whole times, i starts to think that Frieza started to kinda chqnge his mind. He still is ruthless murderer and tyrant, but maybe all those times he interacted with Goku plus 10 years of training, humbled him a little bit, as he now understands the lenghts both Goku and Vegeta had to take, to get to their current lvl. And i think Frieza may develop some small respect for it.
Perhaps, but if they get in his way I bet he'll try to outright kill them, respect or not.
@@kaiprice4991 most likely, it isn't that Frieza had some change of heart all of a sudden, but some seed has been planted for sure. He most likely still wants Goku and Vegeta dead, but he won't be satisfied by such easy victory, he prefers for them to try and catch up to him before they can have their final showdown, possibly something like Cell had with Cell Games.
I hope they have an entire script written out for the next arc. Because they just proved that no matter what, Goku and Vegeta can never become stronger than Frieza if all he has to do is train to one shot them at their most powerful forms.
The only person who should be killing Frieza is Vegeta.
We've got Goku with True Ultra Instinct (MUI occasionally), Vegeta with Ultra Ego, Gohan Beast, Orange Piccolo and now Black Frieza. Not to mention Granolah is still in the game and we know Broly is going to be training with Goku and Vegeta in the next arc.
And there is potentially still a stronger fighter in the universe? The scales of power are overflowing at this point 🤯
It makes sense Frieza got that strong he's a prodigy. Its why every dokkan carrd he has that prodigy link. I also think he wont get killed off ever. He's part of the DB verse like other villains in DC or marvel now.

Frieza training for 10 years is a little much, I highly doubt he did it to just kill Goku and Vegeta, could he be aiming higher? Like the Gods, or even those little Zeno´s he seemed to dispise the most.

Crazy how they've set up freeza from the beginning. He was even in the new movie for like a few seconds...that should've been our first hint he was coming back.
I do find it interesting that they first powered up both gohan and piccolo and now they’ve powered up frieza even more. It feels like they’re trying to prepare the main characters for something big coming. I feel like in their training goku will get an even firmer grasp on ultra instinct while vegeta will master ultra ego. I also feel like both broly and granolah will play a big part in the future as well.

Man, that was A LOT to unpack! So here’s the interesting thing about how all this went down: this is the exact same Frieza we are talking about who swore revenge against Goku COUNTLESS TIMES! He could have exacted his revenge by killing Goku yet he didn’t. Why? Now, while I find it is very uncharacteristic of Frieza to spare anyone’s life let alone team up with Goku and Vegeta, I think he did this so that he would motivate Goku and Vegeta to train even harder as they go on to eventually prepare themselves against whoever this mysterious “stronger warrior” as we get deeper into the next arc. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
But anyway, this was great finishing touch by Toyotarou to wrap up the arc and leave us really wondering how this will all unfold!

@@kg888 That's a good point as he mentions this during the T.o.P. However, Frieza mentions this in the anime version and not in the manga version if I recall correctly. So it could be that he's plotting something entirely different.
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber on Earth is 1 Day = 1 Year
The Room of Spirit and Time in the Moro Arc, which Merus trained Goku was 1 Day = 3 Days
So maybe the one that Frieza found was like... Longer than that, like maybe a week equals 2 years, or something like that, I'm just guessing.
It’d be cool to see an arc called something like “Frieza’s War on the Gods.” If he’s now strong enough to challenge the deities that could really shake up the DB world as it currently exists and take the series somewhere that we haven’t predicted. Maybe they’d delve into some more divine realms or into Otherworld. I also think Frieza’s ability to stomp Goku and Vegeta and maybe even GODs and angels would present good reason to really level up other Z fighters that aren’t as relevant right now.
Also, maybe the universe’s strongest is Uub? I’d love to see Goku train him.

I just here to see all the people complain about Freiza lmao... OG 73 who ?? Been saying he completed his use. This is the only way it should have ended. The emperor has been looming over this arc the whole time and it became a mess that only Frieza himself could clean up.. I love it. If Goku and Vegeta are Batman and Robin then Frieza is easily their Joker. Great way to wrap this mess up.
Aight so I was gonna give this arc a 6 but now it’s an 8.5 I feel like this arc was more of an intermission of what’s actually gonna come in the next arc I rlly like this because it answers many questions but also gives us many questions to look forward to being answers this is a good arc once it’s animated even better

This all makes sense. Frieza has been foreshadowed since the first chapter when granola said he wants payback on Frieza.
Frieza knows Goku and even Vegeta won’t kill him unless he tries to kill them first. He also knows how powerful they are and can still get more powerful and he may need their help against an even more powerful foe soon.
