I could watch you all day Donna. In fact, I just spent three hours watching your videos!
I love the solid bright colors!
You make my day because you are a wonderful teacher.
Thank you so much , I don’t quilt now , but just love your tutorials , from England xx
Very nice, colours are stunning and beautiful and easy pattern
You make everything seem so easy
Great pattern. Your dark background fabric gives the design a nice 3D effect.
How did I miss this one??? It's a fabulous looking quilt and I am going to make this for my grandson.
I really like this one!
No one has captured my creativity like you. I want to start making every one of your demonstrated quilts. You are a fabulous teacher! My family should be worried 😋
I love this design.....very modern. Will also look very chic using pastel colours.
Thank you for bringing the longarm in again. I love to see it in action. Also kudos to your cameraman. He is as good on the camera as Donna is on the sewing machine. You are a great family-team. Greetings from Germany, Swantje
I get so excited every time I see you’ve added a new tutorial! I think you and Matt make a great team. I love the story of how you started. Could you post a picture of the two of you when you first started on this quilting journey?
Yes I’d love too know also , since I’m new to your channel ! Absolutely love the way you show as well as explain, what you need, and how to cut and sew everything ! Your work is so beautiful! Sometimes look a little bit difficult but in the long run easy !! Thanks to you and your “ easy going husband”!! Illenne from Louisiana
I am slowly going through your 'older' posts and learning something new every time! Thank you for your help; I'm in a 'quilt desert' as it is were with no real quilt shop close by. I'm buying on-line and making use of my walmart.
Dona and Matt you are so awesome I love your videos and I love you two
Love your tutorials! They always inspire me.
I really like how the background fabric makes the quilt almost look 3D.
Very good job👍
I absolutely love your tutorials. Its like we are all friends and we are visiting with you. You have such a gift of teaching.
Really love your bright colored quilts. You are a joy to watch.
Another great quilting video! My bucket list keeps getting bigger and bigger
That layer cake is awesome. I love Moda grunge and dots are just the cutest thing.
Loved this one. Always like watching Donna do the quilts. Thank you❤️
I usually don’t like polka dots but this is fabulous with the grunge effect.
I love it!🥰
I love the 3-D effect!
Bellísimo como siempre! Muchas gracias. ♡♡♥♥
I just loved watching this tutorial. All your instructions and the way your make everything so clear. Thank you and your family for all your hard work it us really appreciated. I feel I don’t need to go to a quilters class i can just follow you. Living innthe vast countryside in South Africa its not easy to attend classes soni am thrilled each day and look forward to your email and ideas.
This one is a must do. And I love you choice of fabrics.. thank you also for getting my name back on so I get this every morning.
For the step when you balance the color placement of the blocks, it's easier to see where you need to rearrange some if you take a photo of the quilt top and work from that. It gives you a bird's eye view of the whole surface.
Beautiful diagonal layout!
This was a great project .. As usual! Love the Grunge line from Moda also.
I have watched almost all of your tutorials, and you ALWAYS are teaching in the most encouraging way for all levels of stitches. keep the projects coming. Thank you.

I really like the back. it is fun to see how the scraps can be used.
Your tutorials are THE BEST. So helpful! I REALLY like the close-ups!!
Love it! Your choice of colors was out of this world.
I enjoy and learn so much from your tutorials. Today , the pinked edges! I didn’t know why my blocks were not coming out the right size! Keep up the good work! I pray that one day I can visit your shop
I ordered this pattern. Hope it is as easy as Donna makes it look!
Such fun to watch your tutorials Donna! I loved this one.
I love the pieced back! Super cute quilt.
the most fun thing about these video of tutorials are great! Best part is seeing the first three minutes because she walks so fast bless her...i know how she feels
Great quilt and thank you for the tip about the pinked edges.
I just love this fabric shop💕💖
You are fantastically organized. The grunge fabric is a favourite, as are polka dots and are amazing together. Great creative faux runner on the back. Always appreciated are the extra information like "Moda measuring from the innermost part of the pinked edge. Including how to iron on the grain of the block and insert triangle would be a benefit so finished shape of quilt doesn't go wonky (get distorted). Before I purchase a pattern and start a project I like to know the finished quilt size. Amazing job as always.
I cannot believe you did this pattern! I have been scouring internet looking for a video for the last few weeks to no avail. Thank you so much.
You asked for other ideas of quilts I would like to see you make. I have two....
I am fascinated with Kaffe Fessett’s fabrics and love his “Bordered Diamonds” quilt pattern. Would love to see how you handle what I assume is a 60 degree diamond.
The other is “Storm at Sea” quilt pattern. I am looking for the Creative Grids Storm at Sea strip ruler too. Love how this quilt looks like there are curved pieces in the design.
Wish I lived close to your shop but am in Florida. Maybe one year I will make a quilt journey. Love your videos!
Thanks for the suggestions - we will see what we can do.
Very nice quilt, thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
I love the Grunge fabrics - all of them! You are so talented and I love how you match the colors and fabrics so the quilts always look beautiful. Hard to pick a favorite from all of your tutorials. 😊

I love this one. Love all the different colors that are so bright against that dark background. Awesome!
Donna, I really enjoy and have learned so much from you and your husband from the tutorials. thank you for doing this. You are so inspiring.
Loved this quilt Donna. You are a great teacher. Your nails are pretty too.......I met you a month or so ago on a Saturday when we were staying In Grants Pass during our tour of the Pacific Northwest. We had a discussion about nails, you may remember. Loved meeting you and seeing your shop. Nancy Coates.
Thanks for sharing all your tutorials, they have helped me so much. Every tutorial I learn something new.
I’m very new to this craft, but I love these easy to follow lessons. I have started with the “racer” pattern. I hope to do the diagonal racer next.
You are an inspiration, I wish we lived in your town, I’d be in the shop every week! So thanks from Suffolk, England.
Great job, Donna. The back is really cool, very good idea.
Awesome quilt, beautiful fabrics!
Hi Donna, this was such a lovely pattern and the fabric choice I would have made myself. Polka dots are so stylish and just add so much whimsy and charm to a quilt. The grunge accent was exceptional as well. I would be very proud to have such a charmer on my couch or bed with the special treat on the back. Well done Donna...i am sure its a crowd pleaser!
Lovely to see the quilt made from start to finish....lovely choice of fabrics again, thanks 😀☘
Oh my word I LOVVVE this. Gotta put on my list. Thank you so much.
Another beautiful quilt to try. Thanks Donna.
Another amazing tutorial Donna. You are the best teacher I have found online. Your attention to detail and all the special tips (dealing with pinked edges) are so helpful. I too look forward to each new video. Thanks!
These tutorials are so inspirational! I HAVE to make this quilt. Love all of your tutorials! Thank you for sharing. Phyllis Brown
Absolutely love your tutorials. Cozy quilts certainly make some wonderful patterns and love watching when you make up your own. I have a couple but haven’t had the experience to try them yet but must get them out. Thanks Donna you make it look so easy especially the way you explain things. 😊😊
Donna, I love all of your tutorials, I look forward to getting an e-mail from you with the tutorials in it. You are such an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for sharing your expertise. :)
I like this patterns a lot because it has a modern feel and it showcases the beautiful colors and contrasts in the fabric. And I think it's very doable for someone like me who is still a beginner. May I ask you to provide a link in the description directly to the pattern in your shop? I tried to find it and wasn't successful. Thank you so much for all your thorough and inspiring videos! Your son does a professional job filming and editing the videos.
You can find the pattern here: jordanfabrics.com/products/cozy-quilt-design-three-layer-cake-cake-therapy-pattern
and we will add the link to the description also
Beautiful fabrics as usual and so inspiring, many thanks, Jess
I would love to see a tutorial on how you do the back of this quilt. Thank you Donna & Matt for great tutorials! Always love to see your tutorials.
Love this Quilt The Three Layer Cake. I hadn’t seen the Grunge with the dots before I love it. The quilt also appears almost 3 dimensional when you look at the quilt when it was laying on the table. Beautiful quilt!
I have not warmed up to grunge fabrics but this quilt is making me reconsider! Thanks for that.
Beautiful! I didn't think I was going to like this much, but I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely I found it to be! Nice work as usual! Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge and skills! It really helps a beginning quilter like myself.
love the quilt backing
That’s just such a pretty quilt. Thanks Donna...you’re a wonder with all your wonderful colour choices, your fantastic hints and your accurate sewing tips! From Australia
What a fun pattern usingthe dots grunge! Thank you for the tutorial.
Love this design and your clear instructions
Omg! So excited I have the layer cake and background fabric!!! Whoop whoop!!❤️
I don’t know why but this has always and still remains my favorite quilt. I think it may be the colors and grunge spot colors against the dark navy background. I purchased the same fabric but have several other quilts to make before starting this one.
Great quilt and love your teaching style and enthusiasm. I will try the wiggle weave on the sweet 16. Love new ideas to ply and since have made about 50 quilt tops this winter....lots of play time this Spring.
So excited to see another tutorial. You are always amazing.
It's so BEAUTIFUL. Thanks once again for a great tutorial.
Wow, I love this quilt. You make it look so easy. The grunge fabric really worked well with the quilt design. I'm going to add this to the list of quilts I want to make. Many thanks for sharing your expertise!!
Beautiful job Donna! What a great pattern! Thx for sharing!
I'm getting ready to start my second tutorial of yours! Getting Christmas gifts or of the way lol. But the first one I did turned out perfect and it was my first big quilt. I mostly only bad the baby or lap size before. Can't wait to see my next one finished. Your are a great teacher!!
What a beautiful bright quilt....just makes ya feel happy...just love it 😍
Once again Donna, you've hit it out of the park...I love this pattern! Great job...thanks
What a fun, colorful quilt!
That's BEAUTIFUL......😊
Loved the quilt! Great job. 👍🤗
Love your tutorials. You break down the blocks so that it seems anything’s possible. Would love to see a hexagon quilt made.
Great quilt, love the pattern and I'm a big fan of grunge - it's really versatile.
Beautiful! I love your quilts! You are so inspirational! I keep practicing with my singer sewing machine. It gives me such joy! Thank-you for teaching and being there!
😀
Wow. This is gorgeous!
I so love the creative backs as well. Great pattern, one I need to order for sure.
Thank you Donna a beautiful quilt
Very pretty quilt.
Another beautiful quilt
Thank you for the pinked edge tip. Never know which to follow
So glad this was addressed in a tutorial.
I'm not sure I understand about the pinked edge tip. The blocks are 10x10, so, what is meant by cutting from the shorter side????
Love love love this Donna!!!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity!
Such a beautiful piece! I'm so glad I found this channel. You are such a good instructor, Donna. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊🌹
Very nice, I like it! It looks like it will work up quickly
As always, love your tutorial!
I am sewing together the rows for my Popped Art quilt and your tips about finger pressing and averaging the width for the horizontal sashing were so valuable. Keep it coming.
Thanks for another great tutorial!
Another winner of a quilt Donna great colours and a great pattern.
Love this!♥️♥️♥️
Donna I just made this quilt and it was my first on point layout. I thought a 7x7 layout for the queen size would be 49 blocks, I couldn't figure out why the pattern had me make so many more. You're probably laughing now. Anyway this is the biggest quilt I can imagine but it really did go together quickly. Each block is only 5 seams. I chain pieced them by the dozen and even with taking time to press properly it went so fast! Thanks again for this tutorial, you made it really easy. Cheers!
