LOL its a different kind of heat Jamie, Iwas fortunate I brought my cap. Kept my face from sunburn but my arms weren’t spared! Cheers buddy and glad you stopped by the video ✌🏻😊
I truly enjoyed this video! A new place to discover, and a new kookaburra medallion that I really like, and coins! Thank you for this great video, S2G!
Hiya Charnie. Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad you liked the presentation and it was awesome to visit the Mint again (despite the blazing sun!). Cheers and happy collecting 😊✌🏻
That’s awesome Sevin. I’m sure you’ll have the full collection soon. Will you be picking up the 2024 and do share with us what you think of the latest design. Cheers and happy stacking ✌🏻😊
I concur slowrunner. Their kookaburra coins are outstanding! I do wish they simplify their bullion selling procedures, especially for those who just want to buy one or two coins. I understand the need to take down details from customers who buys huge amounts of bullion but I think its unnecessary for us little guys who just want a coin or two. Other than that, an excellent place to visit and score some bullion! 👍🏻👍🏻😊✌🏻
You welcome LBS. Yeah PM came out with a unique design for this year. I think if they tweek it a little more, the kook is gonna look like a Libertad LOL 😂 Cheers buddy and happy stacking ✌🏻😊
You welcome Keith. This dragon privy have been used on several previous PM coins before. I have the Canadian Maple with the dragon privy and agree both looks similar. Cheers buddy and happy stacking too 😊✌🏻
Glad you had another enjoyable visit to one of your favourite places in Australia, the Perth Mint 😂the heat you experienced has been continuous now for several weeks, way too hot for me 🥵great score on the 2024 Kookaburra coins 🦅featuring KCIII for the first time 👑very cool that you have all 35 coins in the series so far, nice addition of the 2024 Dragon privy mark coin 🐉to your growing lunar set, you were lucky to pick up 2 Change of Monarch sets at the release price ✌even with a mintage of 100,00 they are hard to find 🤔the RAM ballot only allowed 1 set per participant at the release price plus $10 postage 😞nice addition to your other RAM commemorative sets 💪 I am looking forward to the delayed release of the RAM 2024 Year Set featuring KCIII 👑normally year sets are released well before Christmas in the preceding year. Cheers Peter J 😂👋🦅🐉👑✌🙏🇦🇺 🐨🦘👍
Yeah Peter. I was too gungho and decided to walk to WA Coins and then to the Perth Mint. It was further than I thought and the sun was blazing. Forgot to bring my sunscreen, won’t be making that mistake again! It was amazing to find the CoMonarch sets. I was surprised to see them available as Tom had mentioned he tried getting them but PM was sold out. Always great to pickup RaM sets at PM as they retail at issue price. In hindsight, I should have asked one of the patrons to help me get an additional 2 sets LOL 😂 Would have been absurd if I showcased 4 sets! You guys would probably have freaked out. Cheers buddy and thank for supporting the channel 😊✌🏻
You are right about that S2G 🤣🤣 it is becoming harder and harder to source new products from RAM, their distribution process leaves a lot to be desired 😞😞
Hiya Space. Yes the CoMonarch coin sets were an amazing score. Very lucky to be at the Mint when these were available and awesome to score them at their issue price. Cheers buddy and happy stacking 😊✌🏻
Congrats on finding the Change of Monarch set. Great collection of Kooks and Lunar coins. I tried to collect Kooks but ended up with too many 2017’s in my early days of buying. I assumed buying so-called random year would give me a variety of dates. The dealer had other ideas and dumped 15 of the same date on me 🤣
What a coincidence coinsense. I have a video coming soon where I will do an in-depth review of the 2024 kook. I will share some of the kooks I scored as random buys from Bullionstar. Great minds think alike! Cheers buddy and have a fabulous weekend 😊✌🏻
LOL yeah, maybe its cause Acca posted so many vids on the Mint already. Awesome to visit again. Appreciate you stopping by. Cheers and happy stacking 😊✌🏻
Amazing Kooks. send2george may ask where did you buy those organizer for your Kookaburra collection? Its really nice and beautiful display organizer. Thank you!
Hiya rey. Thanks for watching and posting your query. I got the case from a dealer in Germany. I believe the name is Munze Box. You can find the link in one of my Kookaburra videos (check the playlist). Good luck and happy stacking 😊✌🏻
Nice score on the change of monarch sets along with the lunar dragon with the dragon privy and the 35th edition of the Kook right from the source! I would love to go there someday and easily spend more than $2k AUD🤑
LOL I’m sure you will and probably invest even more! You have the eye for the right coins to buy. Glad you stopped by the video and hope you enjoyed this look at the Perth Mint. Cheers and happy stacking ✌🏻😊
Awww too kind wisey, too kind. But in the bigger picture, I’m just a tiny customer and not important at all with PMint. Cheers buddy and happy stacking 😊✌🏻
I go to the Perth mint all the time , they took a easy simple way to buy bullion and turned it into a horrible experience . It’s none of there business what your name is if spending under $9999 in Australia . They get your name and bank details at point of transaction anyway so why do you need to supply valid identification and wait in a long arse que , honestly it’s pathetic how they treat people like dumb criminals . If you want to buy even just a single 1 oz bullion coin make sure you have a couple of hours at least to spare incase they are busy .
Hiya Kayne. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I can understand why PM have such procedures when selling bullion. But I agree for small time investors like us, the process could be a lot easier. I have to say also, my experience at the Mint has been positive. I’m sorry it was not as pleasant for you. I hope there are better moments in future. Cheers buddy and happy stacking ✌🏻😊
