BEST stamp museum EVER! ... finally got the chance to VISIT
Trolling Museums! 🇰🇷 During my recent trip to Seoul South Korea, I managed to visit not only the Heohyeon underground shopping arcade, but also the Korea Postage Stamp Museum located at the Seoul Post Office Building. For those who watched my previous video where I shared my visit to ten coin stores at Heohyeon, I did visit the museum but it was closed during that day.
Fortunately for this trip, the museum was open so I didn't want to waste the opportunity to have a look. I am really glad I did, for this was probably the best stamp museum I ever visited. There were so much to see and so little time, but I did manage to record some of the more interesting exhibits. Hope you will be as excit...

NEW Spin-n-Fun medals from the Singapore Mint ... FUN while collecting!

Spinning Fidget Series? 🇸🇬 Something new from the Singapore Mint and something I'd never seen before, we will now review the Spin-n-Fun series of six medallions. These gold-plated and silver-plated medals are presented in acrylic cases and unlike previous collectables from the Singapore Mint, these can be spun around pointing to various themes for each piece. Looking rather like a fidget, each ...

Vintage Silver Halfcrowns! 🇬🇧 We come now with this video, some of the rarest and hardest half crowns for the 1900s, these bearing the effigy of King Edward VII. There are only nine coins issued for this series so this is a relatively short series, but among them are some of the lowest mintage half crowns to ever be issued. As such, collecting them can be quite a challenge, and I have yet to co...
Stacking silvers? ... WHY these MYLAR Maples are BETTER | more silvers added!

Original Packaging? 🍁 I have been collecting the Royal Canadian Mint silver coins for many years now. These are mainly their Wildlife series and the privy-marked Maples. For stacking, I tend to avoid the regular Maples as they have been known to milkspot. However I have been coming across earlier Maples still sealed in their original mylar packaging. While these are minted many years ago, all a...

Before my recent trip to London, I had communicated with @CyberCurtainTwitcher for a meetup as I wanted to get a couple of his beautiful silver slides. CCT lives quite a distance from the city but was gracious enough to accept the meetup, and even took the time to travel int...

Its NOT Doomsday YET 😳 Astounding news in the last couple of days, and I'm not talking about Donald Trump winning the US Presidential election. Over the last few hours, spot prices for gold and silvers have tumbled, with gold losing over US$100, hitting new lows since their record highs at the end of October. Whether this has anything to do with the election results no one knows and everything ...

I know nothing about gold and silver prices, but I guess it is similar to shares, and I also know next to nothing about shares 😂, but I have heard before do not panic buy or panic sell. It is an interesting game. 🙂
Cracking coins Send. Just fabulous.
I always enjoy coins and bullion in its original packaging. But then that makes me a collector and not really a stacker🤣🤣
What a great presentation Send. Your video skills are of exceptional quality Thank you very much.
G'day S2G, thanks for sharing an awesome tour of the South Korea Postal Museum, so many interesting items on display from around the world, it brings back childhood memories of stamp collecting, whenever I see a video like this it reminds me of the Mauritius Blue Penny Stamp, one of the rarest and most valuable stamps in the philatelic world, your filming of this video was first rate. Cheers Peter J 😂👋📫🏣🙏👍
Awww thanks Peter, too kind too kind. Always wonderful to receive encouragement from you and the community. Not familiar with the Blue Penny so gonna have to do some research on it. Glad you liked this presentation. Cheers and happy collecting ✌🏻😊
Bunch of my Favourites too!!😎

Hi Georgie! Wonderful glittering gold! 🤩Interesting that some of your sovereigns were minted by the South African mint. I only knew about the Kruger Rands. The sovereigns were probably minted before the decimal currency system was adopted in SA. I am watching videos during breaks in between our packing. We move at the end of this week. 🙂
@@GreatStampAdventure I believe the mint was located in Pretoria. I have to be honest I didn’t know about he king until I came across these sovereigns. As you said, krugerrands are the most well known coins for SA. Good luck with your more. Hope to see videos on this latest adventure of yours. Cheers Charnie ✌🏻😊

Hello 👋
Hiya Kayne. Thanks for stopping by this quick museum tour 👍🏻😊
Very interesting museum and trip! Do you collect stamps?
Hiya FG. I used to but stopped when I got heavy into coins. I had a subscription with the Singapore Post years ago. Checkout my upcoming video about first day covers if you’d interested to see more. Cheers buddy and thanks for stopping by ✌🏻😊
@@send2georgie_S2G I collected as a kid, but it got too expensive for me to keep up with at that age. I've still got some books with about 450'ish uncancelled stamps ranging from the 1920's up through the early 1980's. The art on the old stamps fascinated me, the way it was done with the single color die printing, unlike the later full color printing.
@ wow you do know your philatelics. Good that you kept your collection. Its not worth selling them as dealers buys them for pennies. I have very few old stamps, I mostly collect modern FDC. I like the literature on them
@@send2georgie_S2G Ehe, I am not any type of expert by any stretch of the imagination. I got interested due to a special Bicentennial cover that my Grandmother mailed to me that had a stamp from a piece of art painted by a relative. Maybe I will do a quick video or a short showing it off and will give you a tag on it :)
@ that would be awesome! Looking forward to it 👍🏻😊

Awww too kind Jamie, too kind. They are just for a bit of fun really. Gonna be give away during xmas and cny so thought I short a video before they’re gone. Cheers and keep stacking 😊✌🏻
G'day S2G, an interesting set of medallions and perhaps a smart move by the Singapore Mint, my first thought was that this is a clever idea and perhaps an innovative way of attracting the next generation of coin collectors, thanks for sharing these fun spinners. Cheers Peter J 🤣👋🧭✌🔢🍺👍
The Singapore Mint have been issuing our a lot of collectables targeting younger collectors. If you check out their webpage, you will see pages and pages of those. This is the first time I’d seen a series which allows some interaction with the collector. A bit of a novelty really but thought you guys might like a look. They’re gonna be given away for xmas and cny so won’t be staying in my collection. Cheers buddy! 😊✌🏻
G'day Goergie that is something different for a medallion kids can make up games with them thanks for sharing cheers mate. 👊🇦🇺👍🙏

32 views in 1 minute??? Dang
Hiya SC. Some views are when the video was still private. That includes me checking the video before publishing. But this video certainly gained more views in the first few minutes, more than usual… Perhaps there are viewers out there who like watching fun stuff? LOL 😂 Cheers SC and happy collecting 😊✌🏻
Here's my dilemma with Mylar Maples, I have one from 1988 and I'm hot sure whether to take it out from mylar and place it in a capsule since mylar is not 100% safe proof and as you see it tends to discolor and sometimes tarnish the coin itself.
Hiya Bradley. I understand your concern but from my experience, these mylars seems pretty safe. As you can see from the examples that I have, the coins have not tarnished and have very little milkspots. Hope that gives you some idea on what to do. Cheers buddy and appreciate you stopping by the channel ✌🏻😊
@@send2georgie_S2G thanks, all the best
