    I am fascinated by your full coverage dragon. You’re the first stitcher I’ve seen that doesn’t use the parking technique. Could you talk about your method? I’m so enjoying your channel. I’m a new subscriber.

      I've had quite a few people curious about my stitching method for the dragon so I'm hoping to make a 'stitch with me' video to show how I work on it...so watch this space!

    I had to laugh at your sort-of promise not to buy any more fabric... 🤣🙊

    I'm doing the Soda Stitch Tea gnome. Enjoyable stitch but the tash and beard is a beast. I loved your framing of the 2 bunnies.❤

    • @catkinandlillie
      @catkinandlillie  6 месяцев назад

      Oh yes...there's a lot of tash to stitch...I've done half and I've still got the beard to tackle 😬 I'm really loving how it's coming out though. I've played around with some slightly toned down skin colours so just need to test them out.
      It was so nice to FFO the bunnies and have them on display, and I'm so happy you liked the finish 😊

    I am just dipping my toes back into cross stitching after not doing it for about 20 years. Things have grown so much and changed for the better. I mean we barely had the internet and you had to do what was in the store closest to you. The internet has been a total game changer, and it allows me to watch channels like yours, which I am in love with, and learn so many new things. Your channel is wonderful and has taught me so much. Thank you💗

      @catkinandlillie  6 месяцев назад

      That's so kind of you, thank you 😊 I learned to cross stitch over 30 years ago and you are so right...loads has changed over that time and definitely for the better. Not least being able to connect with other cross stitchers all over the world and share the love of this fab craft 😄🩷

    Hi Kat….
    LOVE the new fabric! Just gorgeous- so many options now.
    I’m going to HAVE to dabble in that pond a little.
    I’ve recently started the Bothy Summer pattern & have to say the half stitch threw me a little. I don’t believe I’ve ever done that before OR a full cross stitch in 16 count with only ONE thread! Watch out for that one also… had to do a bit of unstitching myself. Trying to be careful with thread usage since your caution about Bothy’s tendency to skimp on provided threads. Thank you for “heads up” on that. Still not happy that they don’t use DMC, my preference. Can’t wait for your next update. LOVE your videos. Dianne in Dallas

      @catkinandlillie  6 месяцев назад

      Hi Dianne,
      I hope you're enjoying the Bothy Summer pattern despite all the different stitches! I'm definitely finding it keeps me on my toes! I labelled my thread card with all the symbols and did them in different colours for full cross 2 strands, full cross 1 strand etc. and I hope that will keep me on track 🤞The chart is not the easiest to read either and I'm marking off very carefully as I go otherwise I think I'd get very lost.
      I'm definitely loving my new fabric stash 😄 I was nervous of trying different colours but it's been great so far and my confidence is growing.

    I’m soooooo excited. I ordered my FIRST EVER, pattern and ordering all the fabric and floss today! (I’ve only done stamped cross stitch). I’ve barely started my cross stitch journey and I love it! I’ve completed 1 and started 3 others. All stamped kits. This is going to be my first counted and I bought your little unicorn from your Etsy shop!! I’m too excited..and scared of messing it up! Lol

    Hello:) new viewer here. I was wondering, do you stitch from pattern keeper/markup r-xp or do you use paper patterns?

    • @catkinandlillie
      @catkinandlillie  6 месяцев назад

      I use Pattern Keeper for my huge full coverage and paper for everything else. I've tried Markup RXP and haven't really got on with it so well...it's probably great but I keep running into problems and getting frustrated with it.
      I like paper patterns because then I can use my tablet for watching flosstubes 😂
