I have previously dismissed these lenses. I own the Pictor Zoom and love it, so I was really curious about these lenses. I have never really like the footage I have seen on RUclips. So I am shocked at how beautiful they look in your hands. You have a gift. Now you have made me have wallet anxiety. Glad to see you shooting Blackmagic again🙂

DZOFILM makes really nice lenses. I rented a couple of anamorphic and I now have wallet anxiety as well :)

This is the first video where I like the look from these anamorphics, too. They often look too soft. I'm wondering if it's because everybody shoots wide open with them, but I'm curious how they perform around T4 - T5.6

@@michaeldonaghy3997 Thanks very much! I tried to shoot wide open and it's indeed soft, but the softness somehow didn't bother me. Not exactly sure why this is the case

Were you shooting at 2.1? Did you get any chromatic aberration?

Mostly wide open. I didn’t see chromatic aberration but it’s very soft at T2.1

Are the Phantom Luts compatible with the Blackmagic Cinema Full Frame 6K?

Not 100% sure, but it works great in my opinion!

Basically no adjustments for this video. Only the application of Vision LUT of Phantom.

I use the 6k phantom luts on my 6k ff and they work really well.
