Thank you for the great video! I am a newbie sewer - but I am in a wedding tomorrow and last minute I discovered the eye was missing from my bridesmaid dress. No wardrobe malfunction for me- yay!
Oh my gawd!! Thank you so so much!! Fixed up my new pants pretty fast! Loved how beginner friendly this tut was, totes was struggling at threading a needle by myself!
Let me add one more thing. I just tried to knot the thread the way you showed and oh my god that was amazingly easy. I hate hand sewing mostly because I'm terrible at knotting it. I've tried so many different ways but this I was able to do this easily. If I knew you I would give you the biggest hug ever you have now saved me at least 15-20 mins messing with knotting stupid thread. Thank you😃😃😃😃
+Tina Stephens Whooooo...yeah i learned that knot trick from an 80 year old lady I worked with once at a sewing machine dealer and it blew my mind. I was like OMG why was I never showed that before! So glad it help and now will hopefully make hand sewing not as scarry :)
New sub here! Found this video because I needed to add a hook & eye closure to a skirt I altered a while ago (wouldn't want it to "whoopsie down I go!") Thanks for the tips😊
Just found your channel. Subbed. I look forward to seeing what I learn from you. Thank you for this video it for sure is the best explained one out there and now I can go sew on my hook and eye.
+Tina Stephens Thank you for the complement. :) I love hearing that these videos are helping people to keep sewing. If there are any videos you want to see a tutorial on let me know and I will put one together. Anastasia
Colette Valentine juki is an industrial machine. There are entire factories that run JUST juki machines in china and Vietnam. Kind of more a machine you'd get from a dealer/agent.
Great video! If I were to suggest anything though, try and pick a lighter fabric to work on in the future, preferably one without a pattern. Itll make it easier for the viewer to see what you're working on :)
I appreciate the video, but am a new sewer and the only comment I have is that you did not show us that you did not go through both layers, that's important.
Never seen anyone knot thread like that before! So simple, so brilliant...
Very clear tutorial, too!
Thank You !!! I know when I learned that knot it blew my mind!! lol

Thank you! I'm not a sewer but the hook fell off one of my dresses and I was able to sew it back on with help from your video 💜
Awesome 👏
I like the way you made the knot in the beginning. That looks much easier and quicker than the way I've been doing it.

Why? Lighting was good enough for us to see the technique.
After telling us to be sure to put our thimbles on, where’s yours ? 😉
Ha. Great question. I probably could not find it or it was in the way with shooting. I do not remember.
I appreciate the video, but am a new sewer and the only comment I have is that you did not show us that you did not go through both layers, that's important.
Thanks! 🎀💕 Happy sewing!
it is not a professional way, it is housemade finish.
