The Screamin' Swing is a pneumatically powered pendulum ride designed and manufactured by S&S - Sansei Technologies. The first ever swing was built at Knotts Berry Farm in 2004. The biggest of its kind in the world, Serengeti Flyer features two pendulum-like arms, seating a total of 40 riders, that will soar progressively higher and higher with each swing. Starting slowly and progressively flying faster and higher, the ride will reach a staggering height of 135 feet at its peak!

Trust me. They've been there a long time already.
This thing is much more intense than it might seem. Very small restrains make it seem like you will fall out at any moment. Cool and terrifying at the same time.
Ikr I went to the fun spot one and I was scared for my life my cousin made me do it I was cursing him out😅😂

Valleyfair one year at their old valleyscare...we went on their swing one...they had pumped fog and that night no wind...when high up in the ride all you saw was fog.. no ground. Freaky good time
This is the only type of ride that scares the crap out of me 🤣 and this has the nerves to be taller and faster then Sky Hawk @cedarpoint yet still I can't wait to ride it 😁😨😰😳

Yea it’s not 😂 all you get is a tiny lap bar and the airtime is ridiculous. Nothing to grab onto. This ride is very deceiving

It's a magnet so the ride can come to a stop faster. The older models do not have this.
Allows for a bit quicker operation and a more controlled stop.

I went on that once. I thought it was going to be fun. It was terrifying. I went on the train later in the day, and our conductor said that thing could go speeds up to 80 or even 100+ mph and for longer. NOT very fun.

I hated it
I went on it a couple months ago, agreed. I felt like I died like 6 times. My eyes rolled in the back of my head there's nothing to hold onto and the bar is at your waist. Lmao I didn't do any rides after that. I did the rocket at lagoon like 3 times that was not nearly as scary
