This is our POV video from the front seat of SheiKra at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! It is a steel dive coaster which we rode on National Roller Coaster Day 2016. It is 200 feet high and hits speeds of 70 miles per hour!

Thats the best thing of it. All the times i was there, I went for 1st roll on this ride just because of this feeling before the drop. You float for a while with all your body weight pressing doing praying for the belt to not open. Lol and suddenly, u just drop. Def one of my favorites rides ever. Increndible feeling on this drop.

i hate big drops but the rest seems easy and fun. from 1 to 5, 5 being very intense, how bad is the drop?

The first drop is A LOT more intense than it looks on camera! The rest of the ride is fun and not scary. That first drop though is so crazy. Besides Iron Gwazi which will open soon, Sheikra is the tallest rollercoaster there.

No crap💀 I went on it last summer and almost died ok maybe I didn’t die and nothing really happened but I felt like I was died
I went on the Gwazi and this ride had a way more intense drop! I think the speed of Gwazi minimizes the drop intensity. Although the Gwazi is insane because you don't have a shoulder harness! All you get is a Lap band which makes you feel like you might die the whole time hahaha.

❤️ I’ve been on Sheikra with my dad and my sister when we went on holiday to Florida, USA, it was back in 2009, we visited Busch Gardens for the day, we saw the animals and went on the rides. It was one of the best experiences of my life. ❤️
There’s a restaurant parked near the sheiKra. Imagine having lunch and watching car after car come screaming in every 5 minutes. 🤣👏

This is a great coaster. That first drop is higher than it looks on video, you rethink you're decision making skills 'cause it's so high, but the whole ride is smooth, like floating. Perfect blend of fear and fun.

I highly recommend this ride! I rode it and was hesitant at first but it ended up to be my favorite ride at Busch Gardens!!!
I can’t believe I picked this for my first big roller coaster! I had no idea what I was getting myself into!
It was also my first big one. But it made it that everything after was never such a big deal😁
I got on this ride scared of it and I left loving it 🥰
This ride looks so much scarier than it actually is, I was scared to go on it for the longest time, but when I finally went on it, it was nothing, but I’ll always have a fear of getting stuck on a roller coaster.
Yeah same, I went on kingda ka, I wasn't afraid of the actual height (well sort of lol) the launch though, never experienced a launch that goes that fast (128 mph) only other launch coaster I've been on was incredible hulk at islands of adventure

Literally that and final destination whatever one it was I believe it was 3 made me never go on coasters until last year. I had so much fun when I went but still only did half the rides I planned on the fear came back in on two rides unfortunately.
just went and some group got stuck on it. they were up there for like 30 mins and then people went up and walked them down i believe. now im about to go on it an hour later lol

I watched like 80 people go on this ride today because I was eating at a restraunt and literally my stomach dropped- just watching everyone scream
this roller coaster was so terrifying while i was looking at it from afar, but going on it was literally the best experience ever, its so breathtaking and its AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend this roller coaster

Sheikra is probably one of the best B&M dive coasters in the world. It's getting up there in years but it's still a great layout that should still be lots of fun for years to come.
Best part of this ride is that it sits on the edge of the first drop so you have time to ponder what's about to happen.

Oblivion at Alton towers was the first dive coaster ever built.
This looks like an awesome ride, my least favorite part of all roller coasters is when u go up
This is a top 5 roller coaster in the southeast in my opinion. I've been to Carowinds, Six Flags Over Georgia, Universal/Islands Of Adventure, Sea World and this one is easily one of the best. Fury 325 and Intimidator at Carowinds, Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia and Rip Ride Rockit at Universal are in my top 5 as well in southeast

As someone who is completely scared of heights but loves rollercoasters, this was a super fun ride. Worst part of the whole thing was the lift up to the drop. After I got up the hill and was dangling I wasn’t even worried about the drop.

When you go up, it brings your whole body up
When you're about to go down, the views are awesome
Your stomach drops a little
And the second drop is no stomach drop at all.
And the ride is really quick

I have been on this ride multiple times and I am just here to give advice. Every time I get in line I get nervous because I’m not a huge fan of that drop feeling... but I always remind myself that it is quick. Even though no one likes the drop, It’s very short and so worth it!

Our class went to Busch Gardens for our 5th field trip (since it is only 15 minutes from us) and we went on a Wednesday so it was almost empty and we rode sheikra almost 6 times in a row non-stop

This was my first big roller coaster. Ive always been super scared of roller coasters and my brother forced me to go on it. And I'm so thankful he did. After the first drop it's so fun and the fear disappears. After that I went on all the rides with no fear.
