Hi Katie: I tried to get your free resource library, but your link will not accept my name and email. I’m using a Apple tablet and Safari Browser. I’m trying to setup my Pinterest Business Account Pins. Look forward to your reply. Duane Gamble
i highly appreciate this tutorial. The potential client online asked me to do a pin. First I don't know where to start. This video is a great help for me and for those less knowledge about how to make a post on Pinterest. It is fun to learn from you. Now I can start my tasks. I clicked subscribe, select all and I hit like for this video. Many thanks!
Hi Katie, great content! I just found you and you’ve helped me so much. Quick question, if I have a pin to my Etsy product, and that product sells out (one of a kind jewelry pieces)…do I keep the pin up? Delete it? Edit the title to “Item no longer available”? Or edit the url of the pin to then go to my main Etsy page instead of to the sold out product? Please help, thanks 🙏🏻
Hi Katie! First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to create this incredibly helpful content. I've been binge-watching your videos for the past hour and a half and I love it. But I have a quick question, since I am pretty new to Pinterest and still struggle to fully understand it. I recently started a blog, and of course, I'd like to share the content on Pinterest as well. From my understanding, I have the option of creating a new pin directly from Pinterest or pin the picture post I created directly from my blog - I am confused as to whether I will appear or not as the creator of the pin (it is a claimed website), and how do you recommend I do this - create the post on Pinterest (or through a scheduler) - or pin it from my blog. I think it's also maybe important to mention that I do have rich pins enabled on my website (although I still don't fully understand how it works and what it really means). I hope my question makes sense! Thank you so much!
Okay so do I need to have my Pinterest account chosen as “business” in order to create pins (under “tried”) instead of them just saving to my “saved pins” area?
Great video! One thing I'm struggling with is this: if I make a few different pins for one blog post, how do I post them to Pinterest? Do I put them all in the same board or different boards? Should I upload them on different days? Thanks in advance :)
Hey there, and thanks for watching. 💛 Ok, so you can either embed them in your blog post using, for example, Tasty Pins (check out this video for more info ruclips.net/video/RNWvsMbepaY/видео.html) and then pin them manually or with a scheduler. You always want to pin it to the most relevant board, so if that's the same boar, ok. Make sure when you pin them to spread them out - I recommend at least one week apart.
HI Katie, thanks for your video, such help for Pinterest my problem is my idea pins do not show follow button please help me with what I should be doing for this problem Thanks,
Thank you sooooo much! I have one question. I used step 2 and uploaded my first pin manually (created in Canva). It looks terrific but it shows as a “saved” pin. When I go to the “created” side I dont see it. So I wonder if others see it. Plus I need for the Pinterest folks to recognize it because I plan to apply for the rewards program. Is there a way to make it appear under the “create” column?
Hi- thank you for the invaluable information. I was wondering if I can use Tailwind to schedule pinning to additional boards after the pin is published. I know how to pin it to the original board when I first publish it. I’m not sure how to automatically pin to the new boards I have created (and it’s difficult to remember to pin my created pins to new boards every two days). Thanks!
Hi, Im trying to set up my business Pinterest board and Im having trouble to up load on the creative page as an individual image so not as a story just as an image, I really have been trying to figure it out and cant find the way. Please could you help me. not sure if Im explaining my self well? thank you.
Very nice! Just found you and am sooo glad! I am getting started with Pinterest as I need to promote my website. Do you have any videos on promoting a site? Best to you!
I think prints are great because they are very visual. I would maybe create boards on all the print options and then also how your customers use your print business to create their designs. You could showcase different design and print options in pins, how to create a print as a gift, how to hang your prints, etc. Try to anticipate what your ideal customer is looking for and then show them the finished product as an idea
@@KatieGrazer Thank you. So I do something like that. Just Print on Demand is as well clothing, accessories and home decor etc It's not really that customers print them things but I put my designs and photos on different products. Thank you again for your response. I think I do go in the correct direction then :)
You mentioned in the video that you have another video explaining more on making an effective description. I couldnt find it :( Can you direct me to the video please? Thx!
In my Pinterest came some pins publish issue so what the reason for it but confirmly not network issue else anything I don't know so you can clear me❤️❤️ 👍👍🔥❤️
Hi Katie! Thanks for the insights. Quick question: what's the purpose to pin someone's else pin to your own Pinterest if the traffic goes to the other URL and not yours? Just wondering. Thanks.
Hey Douglas, a couple of years back, Pinterest was all about sharing each other's pins, which also helped grow your own account. But, nowadays, you should focus on your own pins. And yes, you're exactly on point. If you're mainly pinning other people's content, you're helping them grow their accounts. If you want more clicks to your site, focus on your own pins.
Thank you for sharing! I have a questions. Can I use my photos (that I take)to pin under my business account? I have been going to canvas to edit my photos and adding inspiring sayings to the photos.
Hi Katie, I have questions, Following instructions from a course I bought at Udemy, I create 10 boards using somebody else pins, according to instructions, as you know the boards are bellow my profile picture, I have a problem, Now I don't know how place pins that I create at Canva, this pins suppose to go above my profile picture and I don't know how to do it. This Is what I did, I created 30 pins with Canva, download one pin to my computer, and from Pinterest uploaded it to my profile I download one pin. The thing is that this pin is not showing above my profile picture, it was placed below as one more board. Do you have a video how to do that step by step? place pins above my profile picture? Thank you. Leo
Hi Katie. Thank you, this video is very helpful!! Off topic, I am wondering if you have experience a problem with editing pins? I can not edit pins that I saved out of the blue. PLEASE LET ME KNOW! thkx. :)
Hey Richelle, thank you - I love to hear that 😊 So, you can only edit the original first pin you pinned to Pinterest. If you pin other people's pins or they repin your pins, you can't edit them afterward.
@@KatieGrazer Sorry, I might have made it sound confusing. I meant I can't edit the title of the pins that I saved for repin. The option was available for a quick second and disappeared to only the delete option. I was always able to edit the titles until last week.
Even though I have a business account when I went to create a new pin there was no option to put in my website destination. Is that because I have to claim my website?
Hmm that is weird, there should always be a line to add your link. Maybe you're tried to create an idea pin. Idea pins are the only pin type you can't add a link. Sorry it's hard for me to assess the situation without seeing the backend of your account.
Hey Joseph, yes, I think you can, but can I ask what you want to promote? Because if you're spending money for ads where are the people going that click on the pin if not to a landing page? Do you want to promote your brand or just for engagement? Thanks for clarifying :)
Hi Katie, thank you for the information! I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to: I know you can have a 'dummy' image with nopin attribute that links to another image to pin in it's place. Is it ok to link to an image that is not on your sites domain? For example, could I create a pin first by uploading directly to Pinterest, then link my sites 'dummy' image to the image on Pinterest? Will this hurt my account in any way (or even work at all)? I'm just figuring out Pinterest, any help is appreciated, thank you!
Hey Nomad. Hmm I'm not sure I 100% understand the question but I'll try. Yes, it's ok to use an image that's not embedded on your site. for example, if it's a stock image (no copyright)and you upload this image directly to Pinterest and then redirect that pin to your website URL: that said, it's not ok to steal the pin image of someone else and then redirect to that image your own URL. I'm not sure why you would have a dummy image that links to another image when you can upload the image directly to Pinterest and then link your URL. YOu don't need to embed the image on your website if you upload it to Pinterest manually or through a scheduler. Hope this makes sense :) Happy to help more if this isn't the answer you're looking for.
@@KatieGrazer Yes. Its my image but I dont want in on the page, its the pinterest only verion. The reason for the dummy image is so people can pin from the site and the pinterest image will show up instead of the image on the site. For example if you have a horizontal image on the site, but if someone goes to pin, it will give them the option to pin the vertical image from pinterest instead.

I do the same as you show, but unfortunately it does not allow me to promote the pin I created. While the promoter should appear in the top right, save appears. I still don't understand the difference between promote and save anyway!
Hey there, so to save a pin means you're uploading a pin to Pinterest or saving someone else's pin, which creates a duplicate. In both cases, you're saving it to one of your boards. To promote a pin means creating an ad where you have to pay Pinterest, so it distributes it.
Hey Pamela, so from my understanding the "created tab" shows all pins you created (all content you create on Pinterest or content you save from a claimed website or a claimed account.) And then under the "saved tab" there's pins you saved from Pinterest or a site that you do not own. Hope this makes sense - let me know.
