You have honestly saved me I have a project in which I need to create a digital portfolio with a website and it’s been a couple years since i’ve had to code one (surprise surprise, coding sucks, and this is due in a week I’d rather not struggle for 7 days straight with it!). I tried Wix and it seemed really confusing but this interface looks so much nicer and this tutorial overall is super genuine and trusting and makes the process feel less daunting. Thank you!!!

Thanks Stacy, It would be too long to explain how we edit our videos in a comment here, but basically we shoot against a green background which allows us to be flexible with the videos and the backgrounds we use in it.

It's actually a fabric background mounted on a metal frame. It's from a website we found here in Australia, custom made. We used to work with a seamless paper backdrop which was not practical because it gets all wrinkly, but this fabric is amazing and doesn't move. Also it take way less space in the studio.

Would love for the video to start automatically once the website is being viewed. Seems like the only way is to click on the play button. Or is there a way to start the video automatically? 😄

Of course, after watching this video I still have some questions (e.g. how to prioritize the appearance of some elements after you switch from the desktop to the mobile version?). But... in general, I am very happy to watch your channel and have this guidance.
Hi Roman, as I understand there’s no way so far to choose the priority of the appearance of the elements. This is done automatically. I’ll keep an eye out for a hack and if I find it I’ll let you guys know

But Canva is preparing to launch a new version of their Sites that will allow Pro user to host a Canva website on a domain that they own or even to allow them to purchase a domain via Canva directly.
