This is so good! I discovered I was doing some illegal stuff when it came to copying images and actually deleted my pins cause I didn't want to get banned. I love Pinterest and am slowly working towards gaining steam as an affiliate. You are the best in explaining the process and I thank you for that. Hey! Very interesting. Thank you for the information. I'm confused, though. Bloggers are always using Amazon photos in gift guides and mood boards. There is no way every blogger can afford to purchase and take professional photos of every product they promote. How exactly does Amazon or the companies that sell through Amazon expect us to promote their products?
@SyedaSamanGulzar I don't know why this information is so mysterious, but we are allowed to use the photos for promotional use in a positive manner. Don't use a company's photos if you're writing a negative review for example. But, if you are an affiliate for a platform, you can use the photos they supply. I found some other RUclips posts about this and then reread an affiliate program agreement. Be sure if you stop participating in an affiliate program to take the photos off your website. For me, I promote some brands that don't have affiliate programs, so I email the company and ask to use the photos. I do it because I have access to a lot of accessories through an affiliate program but not so many clothes. I need clothes to create and style the accessories. Hope that helps!
Other videos explain you have to have a landing page (website) when pinning to Pinterest. So you can just upload your own picture and link the amazon link? Can you copy an Amazon picture and alter it?

Yes I do that too! :) I recommend doing all of it! Linking to direct products and also linking to lists. You can have a “traveling on an airplane with kids must have” list and turn that into a pin that leads people to your traveling essentials on Amazon for example. But you could also link a particular product - maybe a certain busy book for kids with a pin that says entertain your kid on an airplane with this one item.

@@artemike if you link a blog - you need the affiliate disclosure within your blog article but not the pin. If you tag a link and the toggle for affiliate disclosure comes on, you don’t need one in the pin

They banned me for creating pins add tags..so unfair Recommend you fin other platforms...once i started get views they deactivated my account... claiming many thing and nothing at the same time..never explained me why...wasted time
I was able to grow my account to over 1 mil monthly viewers a couple years ago. I wasn't aware of affiliate programs back then :( .... now I'm at 117k views with 2k followers as an amazon associate and I post almost every day and add my link tree link to every post. I don't know what I'm doing wrong even when I use hashtags and descriptions.... HELP PLS TY
