China is currently the unrivaled leader in LED technology, batteries, and various other electronics, which they solidified while the U.S. squandered an astonishing $6.4 trillion on unnecessary wars in the Middle East. That money could have been better used to position the U.S. as a leader in these critical technological areas. Instead, China capitalized on our oversight, pouring vast resources into R&D and manufacturing infrastructure, cementing its dominance.

Ledlenser lights have focusable optics that are better than those simple lenses. But they might cost a bit more. And not all of their different models are good.

Why don’t good flashlights have adjustable focusable lenses? I had a great one, and it broke. I would love another. 😢
