A masterclass as always from you. Fantastic job. I remember sending you my switch a year ago and have enjoyed watching your videos ever since. Keep them coming! 😊
i know you know what you're doing, i've watched a dozen videos. it still makes me squirm when you poke and scratch PCBs with metal tools 😣 excellent video though as always, mate!
Dang I was excited and thought this was the one i I sent you a couple weeks ago. Got all excited since today was my birthday too lol. Hopefully you will be able to fix mine soon😢
You wouldn't happen to have a video like this but for the Lite would you? I bought a switch lite for parts and the previous owner pulled out several of the pads and one of the resistors on the APU. I wanna see if I can resurrect this Lite before I end up just using it as a donor board.
4:13 If something is wrong in the USB-C on the switch doesn't you need to turn that USB-C tester/meter around and not the cable that goes in to the USB-C tester/meter?
I am also using your video as a reference. I've been plagued with yellow screens lately. I understand that the boot file is the cause, but I had a hard time figuring out how to fix it. I fixed it by referring to your video. Thank you.
Just did 2 Lites. Was a lot of fun. No problems. OLED emmc is tougher, but not that much tougher. Also, I thought you could turn off wake on charge in the settings.
@@kingdrift1136 I used v5, but in hindsight I would probably get the 4.2 with the T shaped emmc ribbon cable. The v5 may not be able to flash its firmware from sd card, only usb, due to where the 3.3V is coming from. That's the only difference, I think.
I just finished following your video to install the MOD and everything seems to work but the touchscreen feature has stopped working and I have not been able to resolve it.
If the point D is scratched and the Switch will not boot after this, can we repair this and continue to installation hack or just the Switch is dead ? sorry for my english ^^'
How much do you charge for this?😅 I have an OLED with an rp 2040 chip that decided to flatline on me. I think it might be a little over my head to fix.
I tried troubleshooting mine at least 5 times now.. I guess I'm gonna accept I can't fix it:( please let me know how to contact you to talk more about sending mine to you.
Question for you. On patched switches, do you need to dump the Mariko partial keys as well for backup purposes? I've got the emmc backup and prod and title keys, but I haven't done the Mariko partials yet. Don't know if you need them to restore sysnand in an emergency.
Hello, i mod alot of xbox 360's and other consoles with mod chips. I've been looking to start modding the switch. Im curious as to why you use bare copper wires for all of the install. Aren't you worried about them touching and causing the mod chip to short in the future? or does it not matter. I've seen this is common practice with switch modding and im genuinely curious.
watched the whole thing on 1.5 speed with my jaw on the floor. Your skills in both soldering and editing are incredible

on 25:00 the big connecting point where the silver is ripped out the trace behind it does that big point goto the little dot to the left

Not all testers are reversible, but you could just see how much power is pulled if any is at all

Glad that back to work 👍 🎉
Would you mind sharing a link to where you got your reball template for the emmc?

People don't get because you or voltage make something look easy the thousands of hours it took you to get there.

When I got the blue screen loading cfw, it was because my fusee.bin didn't match the version of atmosphere I was using.
