Hear Hear !! I live in NZ surrounded by rugby. When I compare the two games I see speed and skill in hurling and brute force in rugby. The hurlers also seem to have more regard for the protection of their brains. I am sure that JK Rowling got her inspiration for Quidditch from the Irish game of hurling. A fantastic game to watch.

I think it's standard practice for the ref to be changed for a replay. Twas some replay too!
How do you get the ball off someone when they have it in there hand? I only just started watching Hurling.
You have to wait for them to try to play the ball and either block the shot or deflect the opponents hurley from making proper contact (a hook).. Other options are to flick it off their hurley, or cause the player with the ball to lose control with pressure. You can only keep the ball in your hand for 4 steps(or thereabouts, it's in the control of the ref.).

You don't. They can only take a few steps before having to either pass it, or balance it on their hurley (stick). They can keep running like this indefinitely.

Or you can throw it in the air and then hit it with the palm of your hand like handball to pass it to someone. You cannot just throw it to someone.
Are you out of your mind - hurling is the most skillfull game on the planet - technically superior to any game out there with a level of fitness required to match - I don't know who you are or what your background is - but if your finished with life why don't you end it - hurling will out live your shite - but I suppose with a name like forde you are foreign anyway and don't have gaelic blood I say that to irritate you and well may it do - if you don't like hurling why are you here?

On the 49 minute one of our Clare lads was fouled right outside the Cork goal and the ref watching it and did he do anything about it no he didn't because he was against Clare because his wife is from Cork and he didn't want to give the free to Clare. Now that is not on, that's why he isn't refereeing the replay now but been a standby ref. That is awful refereeing.

God knows there is a lot to feel ashamed in ireland the sports they choose to play is sortingly not one of them.They are a lot of sports i don't like,but i wouldnt be ashamed of anyones sporting choices its only a game in the end of the day

Where did you get 75 minutes long? It's a 70 minute game and the ref could tag on 2 extra minutes for injury time
get people worldwide to play this brilliant sport more like,They are clubs in american 200 to 300 strong made up entirely of americans.Tennis a good game soccer is the most boring game on earth,it only took hold ,because once it was exciting and high scoring .I don't know why they don't try to improve the scoring rate.
