    • @sledaddicz

      Hey Roman. It may not be in there. You should have a plug n play connection directly under the panel where your DESS key is, on the brake side of piece. It is clicked in underneath. Cheers, Jesse

    I just installed this on my 2022 Skandic. Excellent product however the most difficult part was removing the upper module to access the accessory harness. • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  3 года назад +1

      It's not working out well. We tried a set of heated grip elements and even that didn't work having them behind the tablet in super cold temperatures. Going back to Garmin or using the new phone case are the options. Cheers, Mike

    I was told by a few people that the rpms have to rev high before the heating mat gets warm, is this what you've found too? I did a quick resistance check with my multi meter and it doesn't show any resistance so my friend says he thinks there may be a short or a break in the mat or wire somewhere.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  2 месяца назад +1

      Not 100% sure on that one Ron. You should see something on your multi meter, if not, perhaps you have a connection issue somewhere. Cheers, Mike

    Great accessory, my favorite on my G4. With this I run BRP GO, Polaris Ride Command, and trail tracker which ever gives me the best maps for the area I’m in. Also keeps phone fully charged and visible. To me this is perhaps the most under rated add on you can make. All manufactures should offer something similar.

    It says up to a 6.4" phone? Measured diagonally? Just about any decent phone nowadays is bigger than 6.4" - iphone pro 13 max - 6.7". Samsung Galaxy S22+ is 6.6". What larger phone fit in this device?

    I understand about the perforated foam to fit our specific phones but what about the other piece of solid foam that comes with it?

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Год назад +1

      Hey Ron! Great question. I just looked into it for you. That piece of solid foam they give you is for thinner phones to make it more of a snug fit so it can't move in the holder. If your phone is too tight with that piece you can remove it. Hope that helps! Cheers, Jesse

      @@sledaddicz I just got my 23 Rene X with glove box extension/cell phone holder. Sad... I assumed it came with some kind of USB port for charging cell phone while it is staying warm in cell phone holder. It does not - that is an additional accessory. I would have purchased it If I would have known - wish my dealer would have asked me. Or even better while it's heating also provide wireless charging. I cant even put a portable USB battery bank in glovebox and route cable to cellphone in holder. No open holes to fish cable thru. Unless I start drilling...

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Год назад

      Hey Darius. Unfortunately I am not sure as I don't have the phone holder anymore. If you are going to install a garmin GPS my suggestion would be to use the regular glovebox extension door and fasten a garmin motorcycle mount directly to it. That is the best setup for a garmin gps we have found, and we have been doing it that way for a few years now on all our Ski-Doos. Check out this video where we outline our Garmin Zumo install step by step: ruclips.net/video/sQhA3c25I9g/видео.html

    • @sledaddicz
