Where is the plug location to hook up 12volt accessories. I got usb an 12 volt plugs but the one on the save spot as the gen4 an previous is a different plug.I am assuming they did not change to a different plug for the accessories.
Mike is the gen 5 plug different than gen4 I see that one u are referring to which has been same as gen 4 but the 12 volt plug I got from dealer is 2 prong gen 5 has 3 prong I’m thinking skidoo changed in gen5 an dealer gave me wrong accessory trying to comfirm with dealer if u know could u let me know
Hey Mark! That is definitely a windshield. Not a big windshield but still provides ample protection - even up north in -30C this season on fast trails we didn't have any issues. If it gets any colder then that we usually swap medium windshields on. We have been running roughly the same size windshields on our 18, 20, 21 and 22 XRS's on most of our trips. Cheers, Jesse
Yes we used to do that and mount it to the roof of the glovebox extension. Now we just remove the heated pouch and let it rest on the floor of the glovebox. When its mounted to the top it takes up a lot of room and its awkward to get things underneath it. Cheers, Jesse
Some guys like to keep the stock look with the extra low windshield. I like having the options and didn't run the extension on my 850 last season. To each their own but I like that Skidoo gives you the option. Mike

It's under the hood on the left side. You will see it's actually plugged into a dummy plug under left side of area where your key goes. Mike
Do you have the BRP part number for that glove box extension?
What do you do to mount the phone holder?
Refer to our video on installing the phone holder. Cheers, Jesse

That is correct. They did indeed change from 2 prong to 3 prong for Gen5. Cheers, Mike
Random, but we’re did you get the plate stickers from? I like that font style and can’t find decent ones online for my yellow renegade
Fleet image makes them, close to where Mike lives in Kitchener. Cheers, Jesse
That's really nice but lets be honest that's not a windshield. How does it work? Do you get any protection from the wind?

@@sledaddicz Did you just break off the tabs that hold it to the roof of the original box?
