  • From hands on the floor, better to use the same side hand as the front leg FIRST to grab the bar. The first time, i used the opposite hand and kept losing my balance.
    Aside from the hamstrings, this is also a great hip opener for the back leg specially when u try to lift the body up. Make sure hips stay square, as that back leg will want to open up a lot.
    I have no problem with my forward flexion, but my back a bit stiff for the backward bending. For those with better backward flexibility, you can even walk your hands higher up the rungs so you can lift the torso even higher.
