Absolutely unbelievable. Transformed the bike. I had no idea just how bad the stock US street legal map was.... All of my complaints about off idle performance, low RPM flameout, and hard start in the cold just vanished.

Installed mine today! It fixed the 6th gear pinging I was getting from running 15/45 gearing. I can run down the freeway at 80 mph here in Utah all day without worrying about to much engine wear. 2023 KTM 500

Considering the 15/45 gearing myself. How's the 15/45 treat you off road? Ok to pop the front end up over obstacles and hill climbing?
@@adventuremulemoto I use a rekluse clutch so it doesn't really matter what my gearing is. Yes, I can do hard endro stuff if I have to.

Question. I have the EU ktm 500 excf 2023. Is my standard map sufficient for a dvr exhaust? Or is the eu map also lean?
I'm looking to get this for my 2023 FE501s, I want to use it with an fmf Q4 exhaust to keep it quiet. Will the Q4 be too restrictive causing it to run poorly or will I just lose a couple hp?
2 questions...
1. Does the GET ECU need/use the OEM O2 Sensor?
2. Is the GET map switch just on/off. I don't want to crowd my cockpit with that big switch just for map changes. I'd rather have a small rocker or dial selector switch where it doesn't take up cockpit real estate.

Mike I appreciate your making this video and all of the input you give this community. Long time follower and purchaser of your superior products. I have installed the SX1GET ecu on my 2022 EXCF 500 per your instructions here in this video. However I am not clear on setting the idle speed. I did as you directed to turn in the idle screw 4 full turns in. Once that was done I fired up the bike and it ran/idled at 4800 rpm which seems way out of spec. Can you give the RPM that we are shooting for? Also, I am not clear on how to adjust the idle with the ECU GET app. Please explain.
Idle on that bike is 1800-1900 measured on a hot engine, the app only shows engine data on the green WiFi modules
Is this compatible with the 350 as well? The description on the site makes it sound like it’s only for the 500s
Wanting to get one for my new 450RL. Currently I have the stock pipe but would eventually put on a Yoshi or similar. When I purchase the ECU I’m assuming I would select stock exhaust but how do I get it updated when I decide to get the aftermarket exhaust? Is that done without having to send the ECU back to you?

How does the GPA dynamic traction control work without any wheel speed sensor on the map 2 setting for the 2022 KTM 500 EXC-F 4-stroke RX1 PRO, and is map 1 setting still full power and map 2 setting still soft power?
I live in Europe, can I just buy the SX1 from a local dealer and load the Taco moto maps on it? Or how does this work if I want the SX1 to work well for trail riding?

Installed my Taco Moto SX1 GET ecu yesterday on a new '24 500 EXC-F six days with wifi module and traction control knob. Video was indispensable but also made it sooo easy. Setting the idle speed in the final step with the GET app was pretty cool. Waiting for the rain to stop so I can go ride. @tacomotoco A 4-way accessory cable splitter was also included in the box that the install video did not mention, what is that used for, or rather, what can it be used for?

Hey I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer... did I miss what to do with the EXP leads? To the battery? (my application is with the y cable/wifi/traction control)

I like the added features but not enough for the upgrade but for someone with stick ecu I'd get the new model over rx1
I’m having my battery die after bike sits for a day. I just went straight to battery. Should I buy a wake up dongle too or wire the ecu to the key switch ?
As is indicated, the ecu power cord is used then removed for ecu power for programming only

I installed the SX1 ECU on a 2023 KTM 500. When I try setting up the Wi-Fi module I can connect to the network but it will not import my bike on the app. I notice I have a solid green light not flashing. Apparently I’m doing something wrong.
Take a look at the steps again in the app and try again
My GET sx-1, 500 exc-f did not have the "heartbeat" yellow LED as well but communicated and paired anyway.
Will 24 500exc need this?

My get ecu drains battery in off position. I hooked up the red and black wire to battery. Is this correct

@@TACOMOTOCO Is the key supposed to be on or off during this? I get we bypass the OBD2 to get power to the ECU, but I’m unsure if my key should be on or off.

This has features and accessories that put it in a class all its own. The AIM is an incredible unit for the price

If you want to route the wires in a clean manner then yes. It’s one bolt in the tank, a quick disconnect of the fuel line, and a quick disconnect of a wire housing.
all this shows is to never buy ktm buy yamaha. we buy new bike to ride not to replace all parts to put working parts on. fkn joke
