Where the power gains across the PowerBand? Does it seem to limit the constant need for downshift or clutch slip say coming into a fast curve on a fire road and powering out the other side. That's what I want to fix on mine. Did you replace factory exuast too, or just a cap ?
@@davelambardo6464 I literally just put the ECU on and cut the screen out of the exhaust. I plan to take the reeds out of the intake which apparently give it more power across the powerband. I would def. say it helps with not having to shift as much and slip the clutch as well. I'm not sure where all the gains were with the ECU but as I put the GET it you could tell just from revving in neutral how much more responsive it is. And of course in gear it just pulled way harder all around. I've never had one modification increase the power so much as the GET. No contest. And no flame outs and more. Its kind of a no brainer with how these new bikes are built. They are expensive, but worth it.
@@davidsalinas5508 thank you very much for the reply! Yeah I guess I will have to drop some cash on one soon. I have been back and forth on it but like you said it makes the most sense to get a real 500 if your buying a 500! Thanks again !
Thanks for stating that you don't need the switch. No one seems to cover that about these ECUs. Hate clutter on the dash. Additional question, can you adjust the map over wifi when you don't have the switch installed? The convenience of that would be the ultimate solution. No clutter, but still access to the maps conveniently.
Yes, you can adjust the map over wifi without the switch. The switch is just to give you two maps to use on the fly, but not totally needed to change maps. - Chase
I installed the WiFi unit on the left rear diagonal up high, from the lower mount bolt to the rear of the seat area with silicone and zip ties. Don't glue the side with the ID numbers, you need that info. I took a picture of the sticker before installing. I did not want the thing rattling around and tearing up my air cleaner.
How does the GPA dynamic traction control work without any wheel speed sensor on the map 2 setting for the 2022 KTM 500 EXC-F 4-stroke RX1 PRO, and is map 1 setting still full power and map 2 setting still soft power?
No. Afraid not. It moves the power band but doesn't increase the power. The only way to increase the power is change the header and other physical parts. It feels faster and sounds faster (after adding aftermarket slip-on muffler, but its because the power band is moved to where its used. Overall power doesn't change. Gas mileage will go down....which makes sense given the original issue is EPA standards.
So the Ktm ecu is compromised because it needs to be a one size fits all for all markets ? Ok kTM 🙄 Yamaha has one ecu for all markets too, a user tuneable ecu ☝️Ktm likes to market itself as at the leading edge yet does stupid things like this and in the 24 year models the fuel pump is located way above the bottom of the tank leaving litres of unused fuel the pickup can’t reach. Again Ktm get with the program 😵💫
KTM ECUs have different maps for different regions. KTM also sold dealers and tuners software to tune ECUs…not much difference between KTM and Yamaha, except on the podium of the world’s greatest races 😊

Do you know if a Get ECU from a 2022 ktm will fit a 2024? Is it same connections?
@@Kramer178racing I'd like to know too
I bought one for my 2023 500 EXCF and wow did it make a huge difference...
Awesome! Glad you're liking it.

When do you plan to get a GET ECU for the 2024 KTM 500 EXC-F Six Days?
Does the app allow you to tell it that you took the reeds out and changed the end cap? Would be the best way to optimize performance.

Will it work with an O2 sensor deleted?
They don’t have one for 2024 500 Excf. Can you use 2023 version on it? Or do I have to wait for them to come out with one?
I'm not 100% sure on that. I can reach out to GET and see if I can get a quick answer for ya.
No, for the 24/25 you need to use the New SX1 Grey ECU. The Green RX1 is good for 2018-2023
just got a 2024 FE350S, I assume I need to wait until (assuming they do) make maps for the 2024's? Thank you, great video.
That's correct. GET hasn't listed any ECUs for the 2024 Husqvarna models yet.
thank you!@@rmatvmc
Does this allow you to remove the evap module / solenoid without the dash throwing a code/light?
You shouldn't get any error codes with this ECU installed but we would recommend reaching out to GET to confirm this information.
Do you have to use the GET map switch or is the OEM map switch compatible with this ECU?
Yes, you need to use the GET map switch to switch between maps.
Does the GET Tune Map's from scratch on the Dyno, also apply to the 2020 350EXCF's?
It applies to every bike they make maps for. - Chase
Does it increase horsepower ? If so, by how much ?
GET doesn't give a specific number for HP, but you might be able to call them directly and see if they have an answer for you.
it does...by a lot too@@rmatvmc

From what I've been seeing on dyno runs it's in the neighborhood of 20hp to the wheel.
What abou 2024 model 500???
This will not work with the 2024 500 EXC-F model.
They have a model for your bike

Can this ecu work on a 09 ktm 530?
Unfortunately these won't work for that bike.

$1000 is too steep. I'll deal with the lower performance and complain about it instead.
😂😂😂 I said that too until I put 1000 miles on it
