I love all the little things that were put in, How BF used a shield when Waluigi broke the fake smash ball, how the assist trophies were used mid song, and just noticeable how BF’s shirt had the smash bros logo on it
You know the lyrics of "World of Light" hits differently when sung by Waluigi. "Colours weave into a spire of flame Distant sparks call to a past still unnamed Bear this torch against the cold of the night Search your soul and reawaken the undying light" Also I think it would've been clever if you included some lightmotif for Brawl's theme since that was the first game to introduce the Assist Trophy (and the game that pretty much tied his fate to that item) and maybe reference both Little Mac and Dark Samus since they use to be Assist Trophies until Smash 4 and Ultimate in that order.
An even sadder implication is that (wa) luigi finally thought to himself that he's finally gonna use his.. well, final smash, since all the non trophies are talking about their final smashes. my head canon for this waluigi was hoping he would get into smash with his one chance left he had VERY high hopes of getting in but when waluigi saw that Sora got in he was devestated he had a broken heart of how sakurai chose a plant and his brother to add but not him so he was waiting for a stage to get summoned on and he was waiting for a fake smashball so thats what he did and when he got his hands on some boyfriend (mii brawler costume) tried to stop him from suicide but in the end he ended it.

ok so, just for fun, a thread of Mario Mix character lore: Tails Doll = Crystalized Luigi. In the year 1999, Super smash bros. 64 was launched, this counted with 12 characters, 8 playable since start and 4 unlockables, or at least that's what some people think. In the first versions released Metal Mario was a unlockable character, obtained after beating classic mode with mario on very hard without losing a stock. This character has a moveset a bit different that mario, apartof his heavier weight, his attacks was slower but harder, and his neutral B instead of damaging, it stuns the rivals transforming them in crystal for a short time. But there's something weird with the game, some people claim it was just a bug, others think this was something else. If you decided to play a game with Metal mario as the player 1 and Luigi as a CPU, at the time you launched a crystal flame to stun luigi, the game will corrupt. This caused that Luigi had wrong textures, like if he was made of the same crystals seen in the Metal Mario stage, and acting erracticly. It seems normal and kinda funny in a start, but all changes when luigi launches fireballs. They would do high damage for some reason, if you try to avoid them instead of dissapear they will follow their path until they goes out of screen, then the screen would show flashing colors, the same happens if you get knock out'd after the glitch happens. The reason the flashing colors happened wasn't never explained, some people think it was because the textures and the game itself corrupting, other people, however, think it is because Mario, in his metal form, killed Luigi; and he now wants revenge, no matter what. However there's nothing confirmed about this, since the few copies of the game with this problem was retired and destroyed after more cases happened, and no one talked or wants to talk about this event.

Fire waluigi was the perfect pick for this I also like how it's battlefield I would have preferred final destination more but maybe I'm just nit-picking anyways I love how many refrences are chalked into this from the world of light motif can be heard multiple times throughout the song to him dieing when he smashes the fake smash ball onto his face and bf blocking to avoid being killed I really love everything about this good job fire!
I'm SUPER late to this but man I never realized i wanted waliluigi to sing doomsday, Mostly because of this music being pretty great to listen to and the art is also of course good as usual, Also love the part at 1:27 with some of the reminders why waliluigi isn't in smash due to the chill and sad tone it has. (By the way, the WAHHHH near the end was legit perfect lmao)
After Waluigi gets rejected from Smash for so long, only seen as an assist trophy, he has enough. After a match, Waluigi is alone. He finds a fake smash ball, and decides to end it. BF steps in and tries to divert the situation, but as Waluigi smashes the fake smash ball onto himself, the game never implemented the code for assist trophies to be simply damaged by the fake ball, so it ultimately exploded on him. (No pun intended)
All in all, a great mario mix for the unfortunate tragedy that is Waluigi's denied entrance to SSBU, here's hoping he makes it in next time and Happy Halloween 🎃! (Can't believe Waluigi used the fake smash ball, and that bf won the match)

That's because Wario isn't shown as a Mario character, but a Wario character. Mario characters have Super Mushrooms to resemble them, while Wario has the W on his hat to resemble him. Same with Yoshi and his egg.
Fun fact: while doomsday’s starting vocals allow the singer to go “I am squidward I am suicidal” without using more or less notes than the actual vocal section, The same is here for this song and saying “I am Waluigi I am suicidal”
My headcanon for this song is that BF got into smash (not actually of course) and Waluigi is just done at the fact that some nobody kid from a newgrounds game got in instead of him.
I'm now imagining a hypothetical Mario Mix of Bold and Brash having Waluigi snapping and hunting down several "Anime swordsmen" and controversial newcomers and I had three general ideas for a Mr. Krabs replacement. * A fighter on the roster like Marth, Mario, Wario, Sora, or Sephiroth as an example * A Fire Emblem character that isn't playable like Lyn, Claude, Dimitri, Edelgard, the Engage protagonist, Sothis, or Tiki for examples * A fellow assist trophy like Zero, Shadow, Knuckles, Black Knight, Tingle, Krystal, Starfy, or the aforementioned Lyn. Also maybe Waluigi could be in his Psycho Waluigi form from the fan game of the same name.

ok so, just for fun, a thread of Mario Mix character lore:
Tails Doll = Crystalized Luigi.
In the year 1999, Super smash bros. 64 was launched, this counted with 12 characters, 8 playable since start and 4 unlockables, or at least that's what some people think.
In the first versions released Metal Mario was a unlockable character, obtained after beating classic mode with mario on very hard without losing a stock. This character has a moveset a bit different that mario, apartof his heavier weight, his attacks was slower but harder, and his neutral B instead of damaging, it stuns the rivals transforming them in crystal for a short time.
But there's something weird with the game, some people claim it was just a bug, others think this was something else. If you decided to play a game with Metal mario as the player 1 and Luigi as a CPU, at the time you launched a crystal flame to stun luigi, the game will corrupt. This caused that Luigi had wrong textures, like if he was made of the same crystals seen in the Metal Mario stage, and acting erracticly. It seems normal and kinda funny in a start, but all changes when luigi launches fireballs. They would do high damage for some reason, if you try to avoid them instead of dissapear they will follow their path until they goes out of screen, then the screen would show flashing colors, the same happens if you get knock out'd after the glitch happens.
The reason the flashing colors happened wasn't never explained, some people think it was because the textures and the game itself corrupting, other people, however, think it is because Mario, in his metal form, killed Luigi; and he now wants revenge, no matter what.
However there's nothing confirmed about this, since the few copies of the game with this problem was retired and destroyed after more cases happened, and no one talked or wants to talk about this event.

There's nothing more know about the game, since the company dissapear just a few years later, thanks to the anti piracy methods in Nintendo consoles. However a pc fanmade port of the first game was found.
Max has a look similar to heroes like He-man and Leono from Thundercats, wears a orange shirt and hat with green overalls, has a big moustache and black glasses.

I like this theory I had on why he smashes the Fakeball, it was less intentional, more accidental Suicide. Waluigi thought it was smashball, but it was the fake one, so he tried to combat with gaining immense power before the fact he isn't in to know something crucial they added Killed him, or more so since he's an assist trophy sent back to his capsule, since assist trophies Generally die on enough damage taken, rather thad launched to the blast zone.
As much as this theory is cool, it misses the entire point of Waluigi’s emotions.

I'm SUPER late to this but man I never realized i wanted waliluigi to sing doomsday,
Mostly because of this music being pretty great to listen to and the art is also of course good as usual,
Also love the part at 1:27 with some of the reminders why waliluigi isn't in smash due to the chill and sad tone it has.
(By the way, the WAHHHH near the end was legit perfect lmao)
After Waluigi gets rejected from Smash for so long, only seen as an assist trophy, he has enough. After a match, Waluigi is alone. He finds a fake smash ball, and decides to end it. BF steps in and tries to divert the situation, but as Waluigi smashes the fake smash ball onto himself, the game never implemented the code for assist trophies to be simply damaged by the fake ball, so it ultimately exploded on him. (No pun intended)
All in all, a great mario mix for the unfortunate tragedy that is Waluigi's denied entrance to SSBU, here's hoping he makes it in next time and Happy Halloween 🎃!

That's because Wario isn't shown as a Mario character, but a Wario character. Mario characters have Super Mushrooms to resemble them, while Wario has the W on his hat to resemble him. Same with Yoshi and his egg.

I'm now imagining a hypothetical Mario Mix of Bold and Brash having Waluigi snapping and hunting down several "Anime swordsmen" and controversial newcomers and I had three general ideas for a Mr. Krabs replacement.
* A fighter on the roster like Marth, Mario, Wario, Sora, or Sephiroth as an example
* A Fire Emblem character that isn't playable like Lyn, Claude, Dimitri, Edelgard, the Engage protagonist, Sothis, or Tiki for examples
* A fellow assist trophy like Zero, Shadow, Knuckles, Black Knight, Tingle, Krystal, Starfy, or the aforementioned Lyn.
Also maybe Waluigi could be in his Psycho Waluigi form from the fan game of the same name.
Wario's probably a good choice. Waluigi wouldn't betray one of his fellow assists trophies after all. Also, Mario would replace Spongebob.

Could also see Geno work since he’s another requested Mario character that has yet to be playable and didn’t get to be an assist trophy. Maybe he’s finally able to join if only to stop Waluigi as well.
That said I do think Wario does fit
