i feel like this is a epsiode where peter lost lois due to her divorcing him for all the times he attacked the kids and where she finally had enough of him and decided to leave with the kids and staying at her parents house, brian followed as well (leaving peter) because he knew peter was not in the right mindset and the only thing peter wants to do is to do dumb things and cutaway gags. after peter goes home alone and depressed for everything happening he try to distract himself with a computer but it does nothing good for him and he starts to think about them, knowing they will never return peter start to get a rope ready because he was remembering all the memorys he had about his family but then they switch to all the memorys where the family hate him, moving aside the good ones only for the bad. this makes peter more depressed as he starts to put the rope around his neck jesus suddenly appears and try to convince peter his time is not up yet and to make peter see the better side of his life but this only delays the inevitable as slowely death appears in the background for every second jesus try to stop peter. at the end death is fully visible now and is standing at the window watching peter as he swings from the rope and as jesus walks away from the home. the scene cuts to the outside of the family guy home as it lays quiet, no background noises, no cars, planes, children or even ambience noises can be heard, on the sound of the noose moving back and forth. then the screen cuts to black.
I think to make it even more depressed, it could also have his own firends leaving him for the amount of abuse and damages that he caused to them. First being Joe moving away from Peter, then Quagmire, then Cleveland, and eventually he'll be all alone with no one to comfort him but his own mistakes.

Except instead of him using the "light sabers" he just gives up and buys the rope and then travels in within the business guys tower all the way to the top with the rope and a gun he plans to use along with the rope for not climbing purposes but to meet the devil again, and as he does a certain girl who works there finds the man about to end it all and tries to sing him out of it but the trigger was already pulled. The transition is simple: it'll show him at court where he sits at one of the defendant table, you can see the business guy along with the cops but their faces are blurred out and the background aswell. And as for this part 2:59 it will be his house on fire. And the cover will be called "the final climb" (idk what to call it)
BF's laugh during this felt so undeserved in the original version, but fitting since he had no idea what was going on with Squidward. This version however feels like 100% karmic retribution.
