I used to sell drugs down the street from her , I lived about 100 feet from where the truck is , I remember thinking she was crazy for selling hotdogs in 2012 !!! Safe to say I was wrong, I’m so proud of her and it goes to show you never give up , she could of easily fell into the things that people was doing around her but she had a vision and it paid off big time, Congrats on a becoming a Newark Legend, #southward

Being a former chef in the kitchen main two things I noticed was how cleeeeeeaaaaan everything was ...they kept everything wiped down and even her assistant changing out his gloves....that right there alone makes me want to try the food alone....big ups to this young lady and shout to J.L. for putting people like this on the spot

Same here. That's the first thing I noticed. Her prep space was clean and they changed out the gloves. I definitely don't eat anywhere. I'd stopped by to try her food. Based on those two things alone.😁

yeah idk bout that. i live in newark and she represents a different caliber of woman, not the majority of Newark women. She is a go getter, hard worker, etc. Idk If you can label majority of Newark women as such.

So happy for her! I'm from New Jersey, (east orange) and lived in North Newark, the food back home is phenomenal! She seems happy and humble. Wishing nothing but the best for her:) Oh and btw, noticing how clean she's keeping that environment. People do notice things like that, I do anyway so it's a go for me when I come home in the fall. Stopping on Bergen and Madison!

I love the fact they take mini breaks in between serving hotdogs to clean/wipe down their space! A + for me! Also I noticed even when serving their hotdogs they don’t make a mess, like some food trucks I’ve seen damn toppings all over the place ugh. This just might be the best one yet from Newark. And not just for the food, but also for the energy and the joy. Worked with someone just like her back in the day, and that was at the Nedick's on 34th St selling grilled dogs and orange drink.

Your neighborhood loves you trust me. We had a candy lady in my hood when I was younger. She sold hot dogs 3 for a dollar, this was the 80’s. Her name was Ms. Nancy and she was a legend in the hood. We a loved her and still talk about till this day. RIP Ms. Nancy

What!!!! On Bergen? Never heard but will go to see her! Grew up in Newark 1960's!! Telling my age!! Don't live there anymore, but if you want good food, Newark is the place to go!! Fried hotdogs are they best. Lots of flavor, boiling takes the flavor out of the 🌭 I make my own onions- no Sabretts! Slice your onion, with a little green pepper, boil them until tender drain them. Garlic powder, Sazon (color) crushed red peppers (your own spice level) a dab of brown sugar and the secret is your favor barbecue sauce. A old Italian hotdog truck owner gave me his recipe. Stir, bring it to a boil. It's better then Sabretts jar onion!! When we have cookouts everybody want me to make the onions. These onions are also good on hamburgers. This for you Jup!!
