As a Paiste user myself for several years now, i can say that these cymbals would work well for recording sessions and smaller venue gigs or unplugged gigs..They're quite similar to the 2002 series, but don't project as much as their counterparts..All around great cymbals for the budget and beginner drummer, as well as the gigging drummer.. All other cymbal manufacturers have their work cut out for them in regards to their budget variant lines.. In my opinion, these seem to be a new generation of Swiss made budget cymbals as the vintage 404 and 505 series were in the 70's and 80's.. I have both of these series and they're eerily similar.. The vintage 404 and 505 were Swiss made, and sound far superior to Paiste's current beginner and lower budget lines such as the 101's and PST 3 and 5's..
Do you guys think the light crashes are lighter when talking only about sound, or also when talking about volume? I'm feeling the heavy 'cause of the power, but seems like the lights and mediums are brighter and of course, thinner.
Ahoj! ;) Great video with great playing and great sound as always! If I had to choose out of these sets, I would pick the medium set due to versatility reasons. Thanks for this video, greetings from Germany!
curti muito o som da linha PST5.para mim essa linha ja é suficiente .claro que eu gostaria de ter a linha top que é a linha PAISTE 2002👏👏👏👏 é a minha favorita muito top .mais um dia chego la.👊✌
Came here for the cymbals, stayed for the drummer. Fantastic playing!

You’re doing some of the best demos I’ve found on RUclips

Terrific! Very informative!
Every part of that drumkit is tuned to perfection, would love to see a tuning/gear tutorial.
Just bought a set of the Hi-Hats and very satisfied with them.
Great to hear that:)
Really like the sound of the 18" crash and the ride

My set would be :
