Visiting scotland is one of my dream since when i was 18... too Many years. I need to go as soon as possible
I went outside for a walk but it had started to rain I had been in Rome in 2018 and it was a beatiful holiday with my sister and my mum. We visited the most famous places of the city. I studied English while my parents had back home from their walk
Hi Joe. In 2013 I went to Lincoln. I went there (From Rome) just to see a concert given by the guitarist John Williams in Lincoln Cathedral. It was for me the opportunity to know this beautiful Medieval town with its typical old houses, its castle and its wonderful Cathedral, one of the tallest churchs in the world. A must-see place to visit which I also highly recommend to everibody, From there I also visited York, another beautiful ancient English town, also very important from the historical point of view, founded by the Romans, the town where Constantine the Great was declared Emperor (his father Costanzo Cloro died there), with interesting Roman ruins, a wonderful Cathedral and and a beautiful castle as well. By the way, congratulations for your RUclips lessons which I find excellent and very useful. to everybody. Bye bye from Emanuele.
..at the glace: you are the best!!! I read about two amazing places: one near Liverpool in the North West of England "Formby Point" an unspoilt area, interesting from the archaeological point of view and another one, romantic, in Wales the church on Landdwyn Island where is celebrated St. Dwynwen is the welsh equivalent of St. Valentine's Day. Thanks for your valuable tips!
Hi JoeE! I've seen all the places you mentioned cause I love all is about UK ! I've been in Ireland and, from Inverness to Cornwall, ( Isle of Wight included) I have not missed any place. I have been to London eight times and I love your country very much. I wish I could go again when the pandemic is over. I am looking forward to get back. I also visited Oxford, Cam bridge, Stratford Upon Avon, Brighton and Camterbury. I love your country very much.
Grazie
Hallo Joe...the places you chose are wonderful and suggestive. We are the ones who thank you. Please you continue to make listening videos, they are very useful.
My son studied in Scotland and i was lucky enough to visit it , is beautiful specially Edinburgh. I also visited Bath the Jane Auster summer residence, it is very nice. Hi Joe thank you very much
I know the site you talk about and I agree, it Is actually great. As I love GB from my youth, I visited it many times. It's not easy to find a place I loved more than an other, but , if I have to, I must say Yorkshire and York and the lovely sorroundings such as the little town of Thirsk and the Dales, are special memories. When in London I feel at home, anyway.
Dear Joe I've hear your advice right now and I'd like to visit Devon, Bath, Newcastle! Your description and picture are absolutely fantastic! So far I only visited London for a few days. Thanks Joe your videos are really useful for me. You're the Best!

And the most particular thing that I remember was the sea that disappeared ,the beaches and the port without water...cause tide. Then I went twist in Scotland .One time in the Highland we started from Glasgow and we acrossed the west cost to Orkeny and than we went down to Edimburg passing through Abardeen and Saint Andrew. Hi Joe, you don't have to thank us because you deserve many many more subscribers: you're such an excellent teacher 👏 😃 I've only been to London, Oxford and Woodstock so far. I was planning to visit Scotland this summer but unfortunately with this ongoing health emergency I will have to put off this much desired trip. Newcastle and Devon have intrigued me a lot, thanks for your advice 👍

I've been to Devon many years ago and I agree with you that it's a fantastic place to visit. When the pandemic gets better I'd like to go to Scotland. There is just one thing that I don't completely agree with you and that is that nothing beats British beaches. Have you ever been to Sardinia? It's a wonderful place to visit: spectacular views, long sandy beaches, and we have nearly seven thousand 'nuraghi' older than Stonehenge. You must come!!! Thanks a lot for your great lessons
A few years ago i was first in London and then at windsor. I found Windsor very beautiful and welcoming. After this lesson I am very attracted to Wales and Scotland. Thanks Joe !!
Dear JoeEnglish, first of all thank you very much for your fantastic videos. I just saw the one dedicated to your five favorite places in Britain. I am a citizen of Cagliari and I have never been in Devon, but I ask you: have you ever seen the Sardinia's beachs? If not, you must absolutely do it (possibly at the end of September /early October). Only after that examination you can repeat (or not😊) what you have said on the Devon's beaches. Excuse my parochialism! Many greetings. Giuseppe
I LOVE ALL UK! I was in the North of Ireland , many years ago, and I loved the beautiful landscape of the Giant's Causeway as well the area near Portadown, Armagh and Belfast. I've never been to Devon or Dorset so next time I take your tips and I'll go there. Thanks a lot for your fantastic videos.
