See, I like Get Together for families as you can have a family group - without it, grown up siblings never meet up and cousins wouldn't know each other!

Exactly! I always make a 'Family' club where I add all the grandparents, cousins, older siblings, aunts and uncles (I have a mod that allows more Sims in the club) so they at least know each other. Introducing extended family to new family members is a pain in the a*s without GT.
Saaaaame 👌🏻😄 but there are too less slots for the groups, i have more than 8 sims in a family with more generations, cousins and so on
Family clubs are sososo helpful. I also make a club for single Sims so my Sims can meet people because it's easier than having to peruse the whole world to find who's not married 😭 I can just quickly sort them
At least with Growing together we finally hvae family reunions and families showing up to visit!! I'm hoping the pack works well when it comes out.
lol my wedding stories should have been great for family gameplay, but every time i try to plan a wedding, it says i have no friends or family to invite... lmao literally unplayable dogshite
I disagree on Get Together. Yeah, it doesn't really do much for family gameplay within one household, but extended family on the other hand! Introducing my kids to their great aunts/uncles, cousins, grandparents etc. is a pain in the a*s. That's why I always use the club system for this. There's no reason for my Sims' kids to not know they have an older sibling just because that sibling doesn't live with them anymore. Also, when you have a lot of kids, you can just make a club, add the do homework, cleaning and other activities to make your kids behave and make them work for their character values and needs on their own by just starting a club gathering. Get Together is super useful pack for family gameplay if you know how to utilise it. You can't stop with this method after you try it!
Um.. *GET* *TOGETHER* should be in *”maybe/it* *depends”* !!! The club system is SO useful for families and kids! *AND* it comes with gaming tables, dance floors and arcades! Which all *CAN* be used for family gameplay!
get together gameplay is trash, the only saving grace is the map, wolfgang munch and max villareal
Paranormal Stuff is pretty decent for family gameplay. Kids can also take part in seances, and you can have a family take part in seances together. My sims have a family exorcism business and they train their kids from an early age.

Lots of people say that Outdoor retreat is trash. But it's perfect for me because I do a LOT of rags to riches style game play. It's also great for outdoor farmer Sims. It pairs well with Cottage Living. I'm very very choosey when it comes to DLC nowadays, so when I say I had to get outdoor retreat, I had to get outdoor retreat. Is it family based? Yeah, kinda like satch said.

@@netchix7840 oh ? well for me its fun to play rags to riches combining eco life style with outdoor retreat, i start them with the freegan trait from eco lifestyle which means they wont be comfortable in a paid job, so they literaly have to think outside the box to survive but it does balance itself slightly in that they are happy to sleep on park benches whilst they have no home, and scavinge from bins for food, you can go all out homeless with that trait, and then set them to 0 simoleans and then the fun begins, also i do play with full autonomy and no mods, anything that i know they can find in the dumpsters they are never allowed to buy or make, but i do let them sell things in appropriate way, ie. fruit vege they find or grow they can only make money from by selling them at henford on bagley market stands, nothing can be sold thru inventory, when theyve made enough they can buy a campfire to keep warm and make hotdogs etc, and next a tent, then the selling table, maybe have a 'small' vege patch, the struggle is real for my sims on a rags to riches gameplay 🤣🤣🤣
I love outdoor retreat! I like to have my family go on summer camping trips.

there is actually a Drama Club for Children and Teens in the Sims 4 Get Famous! however this is a very overlooked feature, so it makes sense that it wasn’t covered in this video.

What traumatized me about city living was when my sim gave birth to triplets in a two bedroom apartment. I could barely afford anything for them, and one of them had to sleep in the living room cause I ran out of room everywhere else

I feel like you did Spa Day a teeny bit dirty (it's not sultry, but maybe a tier or two higher that what you put), I had a sim grandparent who was really into wellness and would do yoga every morning and I would have the grandkid join in on morning yoga because they could both do the child friendly yoga routine. It's not much, but it was cute that the kids can now do some of the activities like theyre trying to be like grandma, kinda like human kids.
I love how no matter the tier list journey to batuu is just put in the worst tier with no explanation. When I first got the pack I actually thought it was ok but then the next day I was bored of it.

I pretty much agree with you, but you forgot, or at least I didn't notice it there, the newest kit, which brought us some new clothing for kids, which is always welcomed by family players, though I'd still put it in the It Depends rank. And I'd also put Spa Day after the refresh there as well. Bedore refresh, I would have agreed with you, but the refresh added some actions from the pack for chldren and toddlers too, so, family day in spa is not unthinkable anymore and I actually did have a few after the refresh. And it's really fun to see the little tykes doing yoga or getting face masks 😍
I do agree with you about the werewolves pack and finding your family in werewolves, but I also appreciate that there is a decent amount of interactions that adult werewolves can do with their child werewolves. There are different interactions and I was happy to see that.
I’m beyond in love and obsessed with the Werewolves pack! I’m seriously am addicted my Sim Preston met Jacob Volkov at Copperdale High and they hit it off right away and they became Fated Mates as Teenagers. They’re all grown up now and they are happily Married and they have Twins a girl Chantrea and a boy Jaton( I named him after his Dads) Jaton was born a Wolf but Chantrea wasn’t. Jaton is the first Sim I ever had that was born a Werewolf. I’m beyond happy and thrilled and It’s insanely epic and interesting all at the same time. Werewolves are my all time favorite Sims 4 pack besides Seasons and Cats and Dogs.
I feel like get together should’ve been in maybe it depends. There’s very few packs that are designed for family gameplay (quite literally only parenthood) lol, there are very few packs designed for gameplay at all. I don’t think this should’ve been a variable because of this. And then, I’d move snowy escape to good but.
I feel like Snowy Escape is better for family gameplay than Cottage Living or even Cats & Dogs. Because it’s got sledding (even with toddlers!) and the snow festival with snowmen and snow angels and the kid festival with the voidcritter hunt and blessing the young.
Cottage Living and Cats & Dogs add a few toddler social interactions but that’s pretty much it, and kids only get limited access to activities meant for adults. There’s nothing actually intended for families. Too bad, really. Kids should be able to walk the dog and give 4H style presentations at the fairs. Imagine being able to befriend a bunny then ask it to go with you to the fair…
There should also be family activities at the fair. Rides or a corn maze or hay bale slide or SOMETHING
Oh I couldn’t live w/out Get Together for my families. My favorite thing to do with it is to create a homework/study club for my children that meets up at the library or the park. Or having a set group of friends from that neighborhood that always meet up at the park after homework

Actually I think that city living should be in maybe/it depends, that's because it adds apartments and it's very useful when you're playing a family with a storyline like teen mum, poor family that lives in small, dirty apartment or something like that.
I always thought university worked family wise as it was a stage of growing up.. you see the little ones going from tiny tots to full adults and even making thier brain beeg

Did you see the adult with a flat head that walked over when he was showing the Little Campers kit? Then the flat headed adult proceeded to dance like he was possessed. So weird.

To me Island Living is a maybe. I’m from a warm climate where most people live on the coast, so to me being able to swim, specifically in the ocean, is a necessary life skill. I definitely understand the only if you’re a tory ranking from a British perspective, if you see it as a holiday destination. But at least you can actually live in Sulani!! Unlike Selvadorada. Making a world obviously based on real life places, Latin America, but only npcs live there and it’s just a holiday destination for the player gives major tory vibes to me. Especially since a major part of the gameplay is digging up their artifacts 😬 It’s giving colonialism

Get together is really good for family game play for the same reason you said about werewolf. You make your own family in the club system. But. Also as kids grow older I add a family group. Other wise family members don't know each other
In spa day kids can meditate, practice yoga, teach yoga, teach meditation, get their nails, Literally everything an adult can do
You should make a video about ranking every pack on wether they should be in the base game or not!
There are special interactions that grown werewolves can have with toddler werewolves and child werewolves in the pack. There are also certain moodlets that kids and toddlers get during the full moon and other times like "New Fang Pain" and "Beastly Growth Spurts." I would definitely say there's more family gameplay involved in werewolves than in the other occult packs.

It's very interesting to me because goling into The Sims Forums a lot of people say wow ugh most of The Sims caters to family gameplay, but really looking at the packs most of it doesn't.
The entire Sims 4 franchise itself, is literally traumatizing. Regardless of what concept you want to approach xD.

Lol I think this was pretty accurate. But as someone mentions I’ll be nice and give get together a bit more praise. It’s not a favorite pack of mine but the group feature is so good and it can help a lot with family gameplay.

I must say, from the stuff I have, I believe I agree. Can't be too sure as I don't really play the 'family' way. But overall, what you say makes total sense.
City living would be perfect for realistic family gameplay, when the Appartments where not so strange. I miss the Sims 2 appartment-style, where you could build a whole appartment, whitout the ugly skyscraper. I never understand why the Sims team changed this uu.
Plus, living in an appartment is more expensive than living in a house, which is, at least for where i live, absolut unrealistic.

I like Get together only for the clubs, I put all family children in Homework club where they get profits from doing homework and other activities.
The free holiday pack will always be top tier on any list for me, cause it's free.

IDK why werewolves got up at the top, its not realy all inclusive family gameplay ( which was the reason other packs got put down low ) I would put it way down the list for those that want 'family game play including the kids.. which was how you were rating the packs untill that point.

I would also love a generations pack, but by this point, I don’t know how much it would have all have in it, considering high school years just covered a good part of teens.
Now, I’m down for kid and toddler things, but then it would mainly be them and possibly elders so I don’t know what would happen
I really really want stuff for elders, care homes, nurses that live in home and care for them, I also really want disabilities in the sims, like being deaf, blind, needing a wheelchair, etc, and I’d love to see aging more effect a sim. Like having to use reading glasses, etc. also I want newspapers, where they can do the crosswords. And I want more elder hobbies, like crocheting, bowls, golf, etc.
