- Hello everyone,
Today's video has been kicking around longer than LMM has! Originally shot when Lawrie was still part of Jayemm on Cars, finally this project will see the light of day.
We must warn you - our kit has come on a long way since then, and the audio isn't the best, but enjoy this video where Kindred and Lawrie answer that very important question - Can you sleep in a 106?

Great video Laurie. It reminded me of the time I slept in my Triumph Dolomite 1850, back in the early 1980’s. Similar experience. Crap nights sleep in a lay by 😆
Thank you James and lawrie. You remind me of the last day of our holiday last year. I spent all day at Pickering Station watching trains.
Seeing Douglas on the flat wagon reminded me of the time I sanded her back in Pendre sheds and was sworn to secrecy on the new livery while Lisa and myself got some of the TR coaches a well earned bit of TLC.

Goathland station has been featured in Hartbeat as Adensfield station and in Harry Potter as Hogsmead station. The Railway was also featured in the recent Dad's Army film. As well as other TV shows and films.
Great video, really enjoyed it. Douglas looks very small on that goods train!
I have slept in several different cars, Austin 1100, Morris Minor (saloon!), Renault 15, Renault Clio, and my Transit Connect, which was loaded so I only had the drivers seat!

The Morris Minor is the first car have ever owned that I can't sleep in, oddly the Capri is the most comfy, and had a whole Summer in a Ford Escort - new review aspect for LMM? how best to rig cars to doss in, with cookery show - exhaust manifold soup surprise anyone? This one fun to watch and nice to see another angle that Douglas' outing was enjoyed from, even if was with a slightly cricked neck!

I've only ever slept in a car once but it was a Vauxhall Cavalier, not as poky as a 106 but still not an experience I would ever plan to repeat. The North Yorkshire Moors are a beautiful place to be and I only have to travel for about 45 mins to get there.....jealous are we Lawrie? 😂
