Killing Joke - Pandemonium, Wardance, Psyche, Darkness Before the Dawn, Eighties, Kings & Queens, Millennium, Exorcism, Death & Resurrection Show ... so many.... one of my all time favourite bands.

The bass line in the chorus of this song absolutely MAKES this song so cool. There's no song that really sounds like this one... I found these guys/this song about a year ago.

Tim Carr yes, they initiated a lawsuit with Nirvana over this, but it was dropped after Kurt’s death.
They are along with Misfits and The Clash one of the punk bands who had the biggest influence on Trash Metal

You might like my old band project (very Killing Joke inspired) - A Wild Nobility - Time War. The band name was inspired by Adam & the Ants (who you should react to, especially ‘Kings of the Wild Frontier’) and it was a collaboration between me and Steve Seibold (Pig Face/Damage Manual (both superbands featuring members of Killing Joke) and Hate Dept.)

It makes me so happy to see the Joke getting well deserved attention. They are just on a different level of excellence.
Great choice…was very young when this came out but always liked it since I heard it first. Only other tune I know was their song “I am the virus” which got some attention around the Corona time for obvious reasons 😂. Don’t know any of their other tunes as I always only hear this one

You gotta react to " Total Invasion " Killing Joke. You will hear what is known as " Crunching Guitars " Give it a listen, it's rough!
Total Invasion is one of the most brutal songs I've ever heard.
Killing Joke is an altogether different animal compared to Depeche Mode and I love the Mode.

This song has a lot of nostalgic appeal for people in my age bracket - a DJ essential (and so reminiscent of countless rock/goth club nights). But it's not very representative of Killing Joke.
