I just got the 24 Tucson Hybrid Blue. The analog Speedo and "Tach" look great. The 4 inch info screen in the middle is essentially provides all the same information as the limited. It has the same 10.25 screen for the infotainment. Very easy to use. Seriously underrated.
Thanks for a very informative video! I have a 2024 Tucson Limited Hybrid. I'd like the doors to lock automatically when I exit the car. Is that possible?
Very thorough. Thank you. Is there a way to modify the center cluster so the song name and artist appears on the screen? Right now, it flashes for just a second before going away.
Just got my 24 Tucson. Excellent info thanks. However, can Apple car play GPS directions (voice turn by turn) be played at the same time as the radio? I know it does with the in house Nav system, but I've already learned that the Nav system isn't up to date with our new construction here and sent me to an exit which has been closed for a year. I trust my Carplay nav but can't hear the radio at the same time. That sucks. Thanks for any help you can be.
My 24 had a different climate screen and gave me the option of heated steering wheel. I took it for an oil change and that screen looked like yours and my heated steering option disappeared. How anyone else experience this?
Why doesnt the Androud Auto stay on the screen? I have to connect it with an USB cord everytime. I like to have Spotify in my car but as sokn as you unplug the cord, my Spotify will stop. I use wifi it will play spotify but i cant see the spotify manual. Why is that? My 2021 Tucson SEL has Android Auto on and it will automatically ask for permission to turn on. Why cant the 2024 Tuucson Limited do the same? I spent more than an hour playing with it and cant figure it out. My Android version is 14.
Is the resolution for CarPlay noticeably worse than the usual infotainment? I’ve just ordered one of these and I couldn’t tell much from the video but it would definitely annoy me if it’s grainy or pixelated
Thank you! Found my new Tucson a little overwhelming. I have the Kindle app on my IPad to listen to books on long trips. How do I connect to car so it reads book through car speakers? Linda
Tucsons don't have Homelink. We bought a device from Tailwind that works really nicely with Android. It can even be set up to automatically open when you get home and close when you leave.
@@TamingChaos Mine doesn't. I ended up buying a device called Tailwind, which connects to your existing garage door and works with Android Auto. Easy to install and works great! (No, I don't work for the company or receive compensation...just a very satisfied customer!) Homelink would still be easier, though. Very disappointed that it didn't come with it.
Interestingly, the Tucson SEL has wireless car play and android auto but the SEL with the convenience package does not have wireless car play and android. That being said, I've been disappointed with wireless android auto as it really heats up the phone such that wireless charging stops working at about an hour into your trip, and what's more, the charger does not keep up with the battery drain so that you will eventually lose battery if it's not plugged in.
Just bought a 2024 Tucson limited. Way to many gadgets and icons. The manual is horrible. We are computer and phone literate also. Can’t find a page to explain the icons. I did pair my phone and gate opener. So frustrating. They need a manual that shows each icon and what it does. Love the car but to much unnecessary stuff on there. Just want an icon manual.
@@geripsych2011 Yeah :/ you can buy an adapter that lets you do it wirelessly, they range from around $50 to $150. I should have some linked in the description, but there might be newer ones that work better

That was a nice walk-through. It was thorough and succinct. It was well thawed out Strong audio. Thanks.
Great video. How can I set radio to show on screen when starting the car please

I just leased a Tuscon. This was very, very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks. Sadly, you now have to plug in the phone to project maps. In our 2022 model, we did not have to use a cable at all.
I could not find a way set “default “ view so that the comes back to maps after sometime.
Crazy… it is 2024, and still using a cable for connecting apple carplay
What’s crazy is the lowest model has wireless but the limited doesn’t.
Sucks, but not a deal breaker.
Love the car but not the car play. I am an owner of 2024 Tucson. Shame on Hyundai

Very useful, great info video
how can I play radio or Sirius XM while using carplay (maps)?
I just got a 2024 Tucson and can't seem to connect Android auto wirelessly. Can you please confirm if it has wireless capability..
Thanks 👍🏾
It does not if it's a higher trim level

Above the usual infotainment.
"Not a best industry" means "Compare with Mercedes, BMW".
Do you want to pay Mercedes or BMW price?
can you make a video how to setup the digital key.
Can you change the graphic theme on the larger screen
How can you cancel the start-up blue screen. That's annoying. Just gi to the radio! I dont need to see all these apps.
How can I increase the volume on navigation?
Can you change the radio station with the steering wheel?
Yes. On the left side of the steering wheel, there are 2 silver toggles. Use the toggle on the right to move thru your saved radio stations.
Can you do Nissan Maxima sound system test?
Unlikely as Nissan is not promoting this model anymore.
No wireless Apple CarPlay?
Just take 2 secs from your boring ass life to plug it in
Only the lower trim models have wireless. Totally backwards

Ah! If you follow the Bluetooth phone pairing instructions, they should be similar for your iPad.
@@DailyMotor thank you
How do I get my garage door opener set up?

Mine dont go full screen can anyone say why?
Gf just bought one lol sent her right here
Woot! Hope you're doing well my dude. And her, for that matter :P
Would it be correct to say the older models had WIRELESS apple car play and Android Auto but the 2024 models do not have WIRELESS capabilities?
No. Depends on the trim level. And the '25s will all have wireless.

@tclaughner I am disappointed also. I mean @hyundai what gives???
The Limited Trim has wired-only CarPlay. Lower trims have wireless CarPlay.

I’m feeling the same. Had it one month and still struggling to correctly connect Apple play. 🤷🏻♀️
Wired Android Auto & Apple CarPlay is WILD in 2024. Why.
Yeah, it was a miss for sure. But it’s fixed on the 2025
