Thanks Walter. It was certainly a bit of a downpour, but well worth it in the end. I hope you managed to get some great conditions soon. Thanks for watching. 😊
You got some great photos with the Autumn colours along that stream, really liked the compositions at 6:05 and 8:00. It is soo windy in Snowdonia right now (and wet)!
Your example images are great learning tools as well - good training for novices to see results achieved by pros. These are useful backup to the main points made in the clip.
Thank you, still very much an amateur myself, but I'm glad you found them helpful. In future I'm going to also share the RAW (pre editing) images too, as someone else commented that it could be useful. Thanks for watching. 😊
Great video and tips Robert. This video will really come in handy. Not much fog here in So Florida but we'll get loads of it when we move to West Virginia next year....in fact, this location looks a lot like West Virginia! Great tip on how focal lengths affect the look of the fog, never thought about that much. Some great images in this one pal, especially at 4:05 & 7:55. Beautiful misty, images! Great stuff as always Robert!
Cheers Paul. I bet you're going to get to some amazing places when you move to West Virginia. I'm looking forward to your videos already! Thanks for watching mate. 😊
Tip 5 - right clothing - well that’s shorts for me every time 🤣 Lovely conditions and splendid autumn colours for some great seasonal images Robert. 07:11 was my favourite and I’ve still not managed a Misty morning out yet but hoping there’s time before all the colours disappear - Have a good week ahead and all the best 😊
Well it wasn't cold, but it would have definitely been a bit soggy in shorts! I was worried I might miss the autumn colours too, until the fog dropped last weekend. I usually only see it on the days I can't go out! 😆 Thanks for watching Andrew.
Great content Robert. I love going to Wyming Brook & its not far from me. Only photographed it in half decent weather conditions & it was still very easy to slip in places & ended up on my backside once or twice. Luckily i had everything packed away after every shot just in case. After watching this I'm itching to get out there again. Unfortunately I'm going to be stuck at work all week. Hopefully i can get out there next weekend.
Yeah, definitely needs a good pair of boots when it's wet. I know what you mean about getting out. Until the morning we recorded this, I was starting to think that fog only occurred during the week. I hope you drop on at the weekend. Thanks for watching. 😊
Hi there. You have covered very good things related to fog photography here. Thank you for educating. I wonder what is the Red L bracket thing you are using with your Z7?
Not a location I’m overly familiar with, although I’ve seen a few shots there before, but looks like an ace place for photography….thanks for the awesome b-roll - gave a good look around - it’s going on the list for a visit! Good tips throughout mate 👍🏻
It's not a million miles away from Padley Gorge. This is the second time I've been, and I'm a little embarrassed to say that one both occasions I only managed to explore the exact same distance. It seems to be one video's worth of walking to get to that point! 😆 Well worth a visit though. I shall pass your b-roll comments on to my head of videography (Mrs B)!
Another great video Robert, cracking shots and great advice. 1k views in 2 days is pretty good going, all this hard work on your channel is paying off 👍
Some great photos, and tips. Also, thank you for including the info of where you are shooting: it drives me crazy when photographers show beautiful places in the UK, but then don't tell you where they are.
Thanks Kerry. I think there's a lot of gatekeeping that goes on in landscape photography, as if trying to keep the place to ourselves. But the thing is, no two images are going to be the same, even if they were taken in the same spot, so the more sharing we can do, the better. Thanks for watching. 😊
@@Robert-Bishop I agree. Even if we are there together with a friend they can see things very differently and capture a different image. A friend of mine gets a very different view to mine as he is 6ft 2" and I am 5ft.
I'm a fairly new subscriber to your channel. I'm so glad I found it. I like it that you shoot lots of different genres of photography, it's inspired me to try different stuff out (I normally just photograph birds and wildlife). You made some lovely images in this location. Keep up the good work. 🙏
Thank you, that's really kind. I would actually like to do more bird and wildlife videos on my channel, but they're usually the hardest ones to make, just because you can't predict what you're going to see! I also need to do some videos on portraits. I'll get around to it at some point! Thanks for watching and subscribing. 😊
Some good tips with some great images enjoyable watch mate, nicely put together.
Cheers Lee. Glad it came out okay in the end - always difficult filming in low light and rain, as I'm sure you'll know. Thanks for watching mate. 😊
Great job ! Glad youtube reccomended this to me
Thank you - I'm glad it did too! 😊
Great tips. Love fog👍
Thanks, me too! 😊
Beautiful images and some great advice! Thanks for taking us out with you!
Thanks Randy. It's a great location for photography - I'm looking forward to revisiting in the different seasons. Thanks for watching. 😊
Great tips and stunning pictures...it gives me again the spirit to go out in the rain. Thanks!!!

Thanks for these tips. I am going to try and get some good shots in my city of the Canadian wild fire smoke as fog.
Crikey, stay safe! Glad you found the video useful.
Once again informative video Robert, and good advice for those misty shots. Keep up the excellent work.
Cheers John. Glad you liked it - makes getting soaked in the rain worth it! 😆

I'm not sure I've ever been to Snowdonia when it hasn't been raining! I'm sure you'll get some great shots regardless. Thanks for watching. 😊

Thanks for the video! Informative👍only could not understand what app you use for the weather.
Can you name it here?
Thanks Jan, the one I mentioned is Clear Outside. Others include YR Weather Forecast, Astrospheric and WeatherPro. Thanks for watching. 😊
@@Robert-Bishop thanks a lot!
Great Video , Robert! I love fog as you know! great 5 tit's thanks for sharing
Cheers Tony. The old auto correct hasn't done you any favours with this comment! 😆
@@Robert-Bishop Thanks "bugger!"
Good video and I dig the song! Who is that?
Thanks Sam - I make all my own music for the channel. Glad you liked it. 😊
Guys do you now any app to predict fog?
