I CANNOT believe how expensive these are now. I remember seeing them in stores for under $50. In fact I have an old buddy whos dad was buying these things up and stashing them in a spare room. The room was filled with these planes as well as RC planes he never flew he just like buying this stuff. I have to get in touch with him to see if he still has the collection. Its gotta be worth well over 100K at todays prices. Im in shock.

I thought 1:18 scale car and truck models where big, these aircraft 1:18 models are honking huge!

Don't have Instagram but hopefully RUclips posting works to enter. This kit is so awesome, you can just feel the power of the full size aircraft . You could almost fly it. Great job. I'd have to build a hangar but no problem. Let us know if RUclips posting OK. Standing by for more builds.

Another nice P47 , i hve this one in my Collection too and it is in the marking's of Dominic Salvatore "Don" Gentile (December 6, 1920 - January 28, 1951), also known as "Ace of Aces",[ was a World War II USAAF pilot who surpassed Eddie Rickenbacker's World War I record of 26 downed aircraft. He later served in the post-war U.S. Air Force. On January 28, 1951, he was killed when he crashed in a T-33A-1-LO Shooting Star trainer, AF Ser. No. 49-0905, in Forestville, Maryland, leaving behind his wife Isabella Masdea Gentile Beitman (deceased October 2008), and sons Don Jr., Joseph and Pasquale.
Gentile was buried with full military honors in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio. Once again Well Done.
