Hey beauties! What do you love most about straight natural hair❓❤
I feel like the single strand knots are gone, since being a straight hair natural.😮 Which I could never have imagined. My hair shrinks up on wash day, but I simple comb to dangle. After 6 months of straighting my hair, little to no oils are needed. My current issue is humidity in the summer time causes my hair to revert. Your hair is beautiful and shiny!❤ Going to try your beach wave curling method. 😊
Yes I was gonna ask her where she lives cuz this Texas humidity is not gonna let me live 😩
I moved to LA. I can’t really wear straight. My roots revert everyday. I sweat so much. 😢
This is so good! I find that may hair has gotten easier to comb and detangle on wash days as well! I believe humidity will always play a part but doing my hair it is a lot easier these days! And yes please give the heatless curl set a try. I use it ALL the time!😅💓
I've been doing this for years just deep conditioner no oils just a few drops of serum on wash day
So this is nothing new for you! Glad we found what works!❤️✨
I love my hair as straight natural bc of the look (can see & enjoy length) and the low maintenance (I sleep in a bun & have pretty waves in morning).
Yes I love what you said-you can see your length! I’m going to try sleeping in a bun too! 💤 🥰
Thanks for sharing - I’ll have to grab that satin curl band you showed - it gives you pretty beach waves
Thank you! It one of my fav!🤎
I definitely want this kind of simplicity in my life.
I’m done with the over-maintenance of my hair. I absolutely love natural hair. I’ve more so lost interest in what seems to be a very time consuming process.
The routine I had and the things I was doing may not be as necessary as I once thought.
I’m skilled with my natural hair and it grew relatively long but I noticed it (the way I cared for it) was time consuming. One day I decided to cut it off to a very low cut. I would like to start over but I am definitely interested in creating a routine similar to yours so I can have a different and more timesaving and way less product-consuming experience.
Would love to maintain straight natural especially without using the salon for silk presses and things. If I could maintain it on my own that would be awesome.
I just subscribed. Looking forward to learning from this channel.
This makes my heart so happy. I had the same thoughts as you. This was the best decision for me because of all the things you mentioned. I love simplicity and that’s all I share here when it comes to hair-the simple way!😄 I’m so glad you are here friend!♥️
"I don't have to worry about my hair being frizzy..."
That's ALL I worry about when my hair is straight. For me, straight hair is mainly for the fall/winter. I feel that both have their benefits and drawbacks. Straight hair takes more effort upfront but easier to maintain through the week. For me, natural hair is the opposite.
Everyone’s hair journey is so personal, and we all have different textures and experiences. I’m just happy to share what’s been helpful for me ❤️ From curls to star hair, I believe it’s all beautiful and I have enjoyed it both ways!
@@Beautybyviennese absolutely, I wish I lived in a place with low humidity but I'm sure I would still be too lazy to straighten it lol
@@AboutBritney aww yes living where there is little humidity really helps with straight hair!😅 Enjoy those curls! You are beautiful!♥️
Also, what’s your makeup routine? Looks so effortlessly beautiful. 🩷💅🏾💜
Awww thank you friend! 🥹 I literally just uploaded a makeup tutorial minutes ago! I guess it was for you!😃
God bless you beautiful! Here it is!

Nairobi creme press I heard is good. But some say use it as heat protectant after you blow dry and only use a small amount!
I’ll have to research that!💓
Your hair is beautiful. Yes I have some much products from wearing natural hair but I’m converting to straight hair natural for all the reasons you mentioned. Looking for to retaining my growth. Thanks for the inspo.
Thank you so much beautiful! Thank you for watching!🥹I’m praying that you have a successful hair journey!💓♥️🫶🏽🤗
I was a straight natural in my 20s with hair to my tailbone…i did the curly thing for over a decade, now im back…
Currently i am into rollersets with pressed roots…i can do it weekly with no issue but ideally im washing every two weeks. I also like rollerset then small flexirods a few days later that also lasts 7-14 days. I do NOTHING between wash days accept put it in a ponytail or clip when it no longer looks good down. When i get it done professionally it doesn’t frizz really, when i do it reverts a bit, but i can wrap my hair and sit under a drier for 30 min with high heat (no flat irons) and it goes back to presentable, i kinda just let my hair evolve bc it looks good either way.
@@mrod87 This sounds like a great routine!♥️
@@Beautybyviennese girl I’m so happy I’m back bc trying to maintain naturally curly hair as a main style was traumatic. But I’m healed, I’m back, my hair is flourishing haha.
Edit: I’m not anti curly hair or natural hair but for my lifestyle, hair goals and styling skill, my hair is easiest straight.
@@mrod87 your edit is the same way I feel!❤️🤗
Hey girl! I’ve been natural since 2010. However, I was wearing my hair in its natural curly state and getting it braided for the longest time. I just came to the realization this year that wearing it like that was breaking my hair off bad. So long story short I made a decision June of this year to get on a silk press routine after seeing many women on RUclips practicing this. So I now have a hairstylist who gives me a silk press every 4 weeks and I’ve been doing that since June with her and getting trims. Have you ever used henna treatments on your hair in between your 2 week silk presses? Also do you see a professional to trim your ends and how often do you get them trimmed? I’m 36 btw and I love your channel!
Aww hey friend!!!!❤️🤗 yessss I’m re-growing my edges now because of breakage from braids so I definitely understand what you went through!😩I’m glad you found a routine that works for you though, it’s so relieving!😅 I have never tried henna but might in the future:) also I do my own trims as well! I do everything at home now!💓and
I’m 38 years old:)!!!! I’m so glad you are here!
@@Beautybyviennese ohhh I wish I knew how to trim my own hair 😭 but I would definitely say being on this routine my hair is growing much faster and looks and feels a lot healthier. Did you always do the 2 week silk press routine? Or did you start off doing every 4 weeks? Also cool we are about the same age! 😊
I’ve used henna. I find it’s better on straight hair than curly hair…but deep conditioning with heat is a MUST, it can dry out ur hair.
❤❤❤...ty so much fr sharing...❤❤❤
@@lynbrown942 you are so welcome beautiful!♥️🤗
Beautiful hair! I was wondering what your post-workout maintenance routine is
@@kristim.4081 Thank you so much!❤️I work out at home now. I just tie my hair in a scarf to cover the front/edges. I tuck the back in a loose bun. This prevents my hair from reverting:)
I demonstrate a similar method in this video. Hope it helps!

I love my hair straight as well but too much effort trying to keep it straight when taking hot showers. I have soft 3c hair so it’s super easy to comb, I just hate having to wet it in order to comb it.
Ok but your hair sounds beautiful though!😍😍😍 I understand the steam!😅
Gorgeous! Does straight natural hair revert when you wash it? Or have you noticed changes in your texture?
Thank you! I have always had wavy hair in the front and tighter curls in the back. All of my curls have loosened so it definitely does change your curl pattern.I also dye my hair that has changed my curl pattern as well. I LOVE my texture though it is so healthy still and easy to work with ♥️
Wats ur lip combo plz
I believe it was:
Lip Liner: Tower 28-Draw Me
Matte Lipstick: Wet N Wild-11401 & 111402
Lip oil: e.l.f-Pink Quartz❤️
@@Beautybyviennese Thank you beautiful!
Thanks for this video because I’m really considering getting my hair relaxed. I miss having straight hair.
Of course! Yes I definitely recommend being a straight hair natural over a relaxer! If I can help in any way please reach out!✨💓
@@Beautybyviennese how are you able to wear your straight hair working out or going outside
@@tinahealthylivingjourney8685 A scarf! Lol! I try to keep my hair flat with it when going into heat! I’ll take it off before I get to my destination:) Same for the gym! I’ll tie it down with a scarf, tuck the back in a loose bun, and sometimes wear a hat on top while exercising!❤️
@@Beautybyvienneseok! Ima try that! Cover it to protect from humidity. And take off cap in AC.
What eyeliner and mascara do you use? Because my eyeliner will not stay crisp like that without fading and smudging!!🩷
Just gave you a thumps up 😉.....do you have any product recomendations for humidity while hair is in a smooth state? i appreciate my hair is healthy when it shrinks as its a sign of great Elasticity....but its irritating lol, im aware of copolymers to keep her in position, i need more, any reccomendations for glycerine FREE products (makes hair shrink as its a humectent)
Hiiii! Thank you SO much for the love! 🥹💓
I haven’t used any anti-humidity products yet, but I’m open to exploring them in the future. I’m happy to hear your hair is thriving! As you said shrinkage is a good thing!☺️If I do try something new, I’ll be sure to share it! Thank you for being here!
Is your hair dyed? Jet black perhaps? Looks amazing 🥰
Thank you so much!🤗 I have dyed it Jet black for years!♥️ just recently I dyed it dark brown and natural black but it’s still super dark:)
@@Beautybyviennese welcome girlie looks really nice😊
Do you mind sharing the dye you use ? @beautybyviennese
@@genie4worship7 Sure!♥️ I have used Dark & Lovely (Jet Black) for years! I just recently tried another color in the brand….Brown Sable
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous 😍! It’s gotten so long! May I ask if this is your natural hair color or do you dye it black?
As for me, I enjoy wearing my hair in it’s natural curly/coily state. Plus, I live in a *super* humid climate and the humidity is high for most of the year, but I do plan on doing some silk presses from time to time. I bought a new flat iron I can’t wait to try out 😁. My last few silk press attempts didn’t turn out so great, but each one was better than the last lol 😂. Hopefully this new flat iron + new products I’m trying out will give me better results. 🤞🏽
Aw hi friend! Thank you so much!♥️
I do dye my hair either dark brown or jet black! 🤗
Also I love curls! I imagine yours are beautiful and like you said living in a humid climate really changes things! When I go to Florida I know my hair is not going to stay straight😅 which is fine because I get to experiment with my hair in other ways! Even with the perfect flat iron method I would imagine keeping your hair extremely straight would be quite the challenge so don’t be hard on yourself and enjoy those beautiful curls!🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
