    There isn't even an undisputed GOAT on hard court or grass (You can throw multiple options and all can be valid answers).

    It's undeniable.

    @andreim.5324 3 года назад +5

    2020 will go down in human history for many things. A global pandemic who has wreaked havoc into the world's economies and brought the misery of isolation for most of humanity. Also, this is the year in which Rafael Nadal has won his 13th Roland Garros, a feat that will for sure not be reproduced in our lifetime by anyone and very possibly, ever. The only one who can break his RG trophy record is...him. What i love most about this fantastic win, was that he demolished Djokovic in this final despite almost everyone of the so called "tennis experts" saying he has almost no chance in these conditions against Djokovic. The Big 3 have been underestimated by everyone time and time again and all 3 are still coming back every-time, slapping all the experts in the face with their own words. This proves also, that no one in this sport really understands the phenomenon that the Big 3 represent because no one has seen before, this insane level of consistence and dominance by 3 players at almost the same time, for the last 15-16 years.

    The fact that no one else in the Open Era, apart from Bjorn Borg, has managed to dominate on the surface goes to show that it takes a very, very special kind of player to be where Rafa is today. Sure, guys like Wilander, Lendl, and a few others have won a bunch at RG but they weren't the all-season players like Rafa is, and despite many declaring him a "clay-only" player, he has proven time and again that he is a fierce opponent on all surfaces. He beat Roger on grass in 2008, beat Novak on hard courts in 2010 and 2013 (US Open) while the other two have barely come close to beating him at RG (except for Novak who's perhaps the best all-round player of the lot). Rafa might not be the best at the all-round game but it's mighty unfair to constrict him to just clay - take the 2018 Wimbledon semis against Novak where he lost only by a whisker in an epic five-setter and with his 2021 kicking off on a great note, one cannot rule him out as one of the favorites on any surface.
    P.S: As a manic Rafa fan, I would wish to see him beat Novak at Wimbledon/AO once before he retires just so that he can shut em all up for good.

      He has 7 slams outside of Clay. That alone eeeasily establishes you as an all-court player and he has been in so many finals games, chances of obtaining even more. He is the only one of big three to win atleast 2 slams on all the Slam surfaces.

      No doubt what you are saying still is true. Rafa is absolutely unbeatable on Clay. He is so good on red clay, no one has come close to be this good on any other surface. But when a tennis player is determined to defy odds, its bound to happen. He's no god. And no one is a fool. Things happen in sport, especially when one gets so many chances. Even after this Tsitsipas can lift the title. But I believe in Djokovic

    GEEEEZ! I get emotional just watching these highlights. It was an amazing feeling, just for me, to see Mr. Rafael Nadal defeat Novak Djokovic. Nadal was so convincing during this entire tournament that he may have been under the radar. He just went on court, did his job and won each of his matches in straight sets. There were no grueling 5 set matches for the press to talk about. There wasn't a close match that could be talked about, by the commentators, during the final with Djokovic. Everyone was expecting Djokovic to blow Nadal out of the tournament. Supposedly, Djokovic was playing "really well". Goran Ivanisevic even predicted Djokovic would defeat Nadal in the finals. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. When will they learn. Mr. Rafael Nadal is The King Of Clay! Mr. Rafael Nadal is The Best Clay Court Player Of All Time! When you enter the gates of Roland Garros, you enter The House Of Nadal. Is it too much to ask that you show some respect? Nadal Is My Champion!

    • @mayank7568
      @mayank7568 3 года назад

      "Well, as I said, you know, it's Nadal. Even though he lost this week, I still think, you know, a lot of people will agree, he's the No.1 favorite and, you know, the record that he has there, the history of his results, you just can't put anybody in front of him".. This is what Djokovic said of Rafa ahead of their 2020 clash. Can accept coaches to favour the one they are coaching, what else should they say that our guy has no chance? but that occasion he went over the top and admitted that very moment that he has gone over the top a bit..
