English breakfast tea, raisin bread French toast and here we go. I'd just love to have a tree that size to decorate. We downsized but I do have the ornaments though as Christmas, especially vintage, has been my passion for 4 decades. Great job Kevin. Watch Goldie, cats love to climb trees, mine do and then I get pics of her peaking out.

I grew up in a Victorian. There is nothing like it. It always felt like a warm hug. As a child, I would lay in bed and imagine all the other folks who had lived there. Lol! This was wonderful! Love the fur babies! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

What a great video! You mentioned in your last video that you were going to make garlands from your own garden greenery. I thought, "What a great idea." I have a friend who lives very close to me who has beautiful evergreen trees and Holly bushes in her yard. I asked if I could clip some and she said yes. Now in today's video you showed me exactly what to do. I will be working on it this weekend. I especially want to use live greenery because I love real Christmas trees but, I have 4 cats and 3 dogs and an open floor plan house. I can't keep them away from a Christmas tree. So I use a ceramic tree on my front entrance table. A nice live greenery garland will give me the aroma of a real tree with out the pet disasters. And, I have been wanting to try the Tierra Farm teas that you love so much, so I ordered the tea gift box. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks, Kevin, for all your wonderful ideas and recipes.

I was given an antique Italian glass chandelier. I took it apart. Used the drops as ornaments and assembled all the glass swags together for garland.

You, John and Lizeth made a grand job of your beautiful tree. Look out for a little package coming to you soon from Manchester which can be opened as soon as it arrives. To be honest, I'm surprised it's not already arrived.
This year I'm going for something completely different. Usually I decorate a traditional green 6 foot imitation tree next to my fireplace which means I need to scramble under my desk to switch on the lights every day. As I'm not getting any younger, this year I'm putting up an all black coloured tree, kindly given to me by my Goth neighbours! I shall be placing it beside my window where there is an easily accessed plug switch for the lights!. I shall be decorating it completely in silver and white.
Like you, I enjoy a mug [or two] of warming hot chocolate while trimming the tree.

Everything looks just so beautiful in your gorgeous home. Is Goldie interested in climbing the tree? Luckily, he isn't allowed in unsupervised! But I think kittens need supervision at all times!😁 He's getting so big. Our orange cat is very interested in our tree but there is no way we can block it off. Avery seems very well-behaved!. Your hot chocolate looks so yummy and your fire, so cozy. I wish we had holly bushes in our yard but I haven't found any to plant. Looking forward to more Christmas content.

I loved your tutorial for garlands, thankyou Kevin. I stayed at the Charles Nelson Schmick Victorian House in Leetonia, Columbiana County, Ohio one Christmas and had quite the spooking! Atop their Victorian Christmas tree, the owner/manager placed her very traditional white wedding gown and it made quite the statement (that of a ghost)! Other paranormal were dreams and inexplainable scents I experienced overnight. I believe your dwelling, Kevin, would foster only the kindest spirits!

My decorations are coming along nicely. However my spouse and I have been in an apartment as of 2 years ago today, actually! We downsized from our two previous homes (1 for 18 years, second of 28 years), so we needed to do this move, but love it! So without former boxwoods and other fresh greenery we could bring indoors, we now substitute with a fresh poinsettia and a pared down Christmas tree that works for us. It’s a real Norfolk pine we’ve had for years. It works, and we decorate it on a tabletop. Along with other ornaments, etc. scattered throughout our space. Ok, long enough post, looking forward to your upcoming videos, as always. You have a beautiful tree and mantle scape!

I would say that you are way ahead of me on decorating for Christmas. But I am now inspired to start from watching your video. Everything looks quite festive and beautiful there at your house. Fun to see Avery and Goldie excited about the tree. Will they be getting presents and stockings for Christmas? How about a red bow for Avery. Goldie was curiously eyeballing the tree and ornaments. The homemade cocoa sounds delicious in the special Santa mugs topped with the blob of real whipped cream. Yum! That alone would cheer most people up. I love the double wreaths on the front door and the greens on the staircase and mantle. Lovely! By the way, that is a beautiful mirror hanging over the mantle. It creates the effect of an even larger room. Wonderful. I learned the proper way to put the tree in the stand, watching your Santa's helper. I think that I've been doing it wrong all of these years. My mom passed away two years ago and today, 1st December, is her birthday. This is my favourite time of the year for your RUclips videos - can’t wait to see what recipes you do this year. Which reminds me I have bookmarked your cookbook Kevin’s Kitchen to buy after Christmas as it has to be shipped from Amazon US to the UK I usually try to avoid ordering parcels until the New Year. Our decorations normally go up about two weeks before Christmas. Hopefully the Christmas cross stitch cushion I am making will be finished by then and it can then join our other decorations in our sitting room.

Really enjoyed this video. Your tree is stunning! In case you did not know. The pineapple is a symbol of hospitality because it was displayed when seamen (mostly Captains) would return from a voyage to the tropics, often West Indies. Manners back then forbid anyone who was not close family visiting the wife while he was away. When he got home, they would put out front of house tropical fruits, esp pineapple, to let people know the home was welcoming visitors once again.

I live in Idaho USA but for some reason I think not that you are in the USA. But you don’t have an Accent. I really like watching your past videoes. I’m 73 years old, so I really enjoy your traditional ways. Most of the you-tubers in my country are very modern, and don’t use a lot of bright colors in their videos. That makes me sad. Anyway, I’ll keep on watching you!
