This is the one I'd get. It's a manageable amount of power and really all the power you need. Simple V8 and rear wheel drive with all of the styling cues of the 60s and 70s muscle cars.
Dude they are amazing. I got a 2021 Challenger Scat Pack Widebody, and I dont regret it whatsoever, corners just fine, has a nice sound, very manageable, still needs respect but for a true muscle car scat is definitely the way to go.
I love that you don’t dramatize shifting gears with the paddles. It’s upsets me to the core seeing “car influencers” slapping the paddle shifter taking there hand off the wheel lol
Amazing Videos Dude. I love them i think you one of the best out here even tho you may not be the biggest you just really get into detail with everything and it makes a great video i don't know if you accept request but i own a 2005 dodge neon Srt4 and i would like to see a video on one of those. Thank you for the vids and keep up the amazing videos. Love your car btw
Nice video! I have a manual 6 challenger and you pushed me to go run my car at the track..Im just scared i will fry my brakes and clutch pushing my car to the limit..
I think your brakes will hold up fine. They are two-piece, which helps with cooling. Do flush with some fresh DOT 4 fluid, don’t ride the pedal (firm on, then off), and you should be fine!
May I ask how you get to test all of these vehicles? I’ve been wanting do drive various vehicles for review purposes. But not sure how it works. I could use your knowledge! Thanks
I'm about to buy one of these but to tell you the truth this video is actually scaring me off because I'm wondering how well the car does in the turns? I know what it can do with the straight away. The question is hows the handling ? You were traveling very very slow. That's not what I'm looking for
@@seanem7261 lol I'm in the wrong video talking about a completely different car, for a sec I thought this was the widebody Charger but I now realized this is a Challenger widebody video.
It does big time! I’ve owned mine now since Dec 31st of 2021 a day before 2022. And there is a night and day difference between the two. The auto/street mode is comfortable, more loose feeling and a great touring feel but sport mode takes it up to another level and the suspension gets much stiffer the steering is heavier and more precise and the transmission holds gears longer and shifts faster but track mode is almost undrivable on city roads with bumps and potholes etc. the suspension gets extremely stiff and tight makes the car feel much more rigid they steering is even heavier and quick, the transmission for those first 3-4 gears hits hard and extremely fast. The exhaust sounds amazing in track and those shifts you get pops and burbles like you do in sport but a lot more pronounced and aggressive. There’s also a aftermarket mod that’s plug and play for the suspension modes. It legit takes all 3 modes and almost maxed them out. Street is much more comfortable and the other two takes them to another level. According to them Mopar left a lot of wiggle room for improvement on the table. I might buy it someday
I used to own a scatpack and now a hellcat, both autos and there’s an enormous feel/perception of power difference once the hellcat hooks, especially speeds like from 60-130. They literally weight almost the same but the cat has 200 more hp and runs 10’s stock with just drag radials @124-127 in decent conditions. My scatpack felt slower than my 16’ camaro ss rental as well.
Auto is faster and more consistent, but he's in manual mode using the shift paddles on the steering wheel. You can drive the auto like a clutchless manual.
I love these POV videos. Nice to hear the exhaust and seeing it driven around a track and not just street racing

Yah the Hellcat way to much power for normal driving on the street. I would get one of the 392 version.
Dashcam Dumbasses its just insane driving this car knowing its naturally aspirated and extremely large and heavy and it’s still that fast.
And will probably beat the hell cat on the street. Real world light to light.

This is slow, lacking about 500hp

Just an FYI, this damn video made me get one!
Congratulations (I know I’m late lol)
Great content Topher! This footage debunks the myth that Scats are only strait line performers, Track Mode is excellent for Auto Cross.

Love ur videos bro! True car enthusiast 👌
I feel Ike you could have driven it a lot harder but I was watching the speeds throughout the track and that’s still pretty good.
Exactly what I was thinkibg
heard a lot of great things about this car!
treerexaudi Official it’s mine
This was fantastic. Any more footage to share?
Can do you a track comparison test between this and the mustang and the camaro?
late comment, but I have one myself, not bad but will definitely get eaten on a track by a Camaro
@@bosshot2409 not sure about that , check my videos , scat pack widebody is faster than people think
How do i get to drive nice cars on a track? Do tracks let you rent a car and track it for a price?
+1
@@ismet_sxv +1
he youtuber though
@@ismet_sxv Yes a lot of tracks have cars you can rent. By the hour or by the # of laps etc.
You can use highway and play GTA with Cops.

I really enjoyed the Video! TY I live near Atlanta, could you please tell me the steps to be able to go and drive on Track Day? Thank You Very Much!!!
Note, scats and Cats are drag strip cars not necessarily drag strip cars.
A very simple question in the SRT pages, Why did you put the "Street" engine option instead of "Track"
?
Exactly
Indeed, the gearbox was slow.
If you are wearing a race helmet, how did you attach the GoPro to your head?

Maybe next time show it in automatic mode as well
Any chance you are going to review a Charger?
Why is there a makeshift turn in the long straight? It just defeats the purpose of it....
The corner after is kinda dangerous because the braking point is hard to get right, so they make you slow down to reduce the risk of a crash
it's sad that American car makers didn't believe in making better car interiors in the past
Can you review the 2019 Chevy blazer

At least $7k over base Scat Pack price
I got mine for $47k

Does putting the cars suspension in track rather that street really make a difference??

is it wrong for me to buy this car if I only drive like an average driver?
Yes. If you're just gonna put around and never drive fast it's a complete waste of time to buy anything with more than 250hp

I'd still prefer the RT Scat Pack over the Hellcat any day. Sorry, not sorry.
